Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 712: The Rock Dragon King

Capítulo 712: The Rock Dragon King

The room was small, messy, and dirty…

It was a total insult, and honestly, Rael didn’t really feel like taking such an insult.

So instead of entering that room, Rael glanced around and eventually found that near the end of the mountain, there were more rooms with actual doors and good furniture.

Therefore, he simply picked one of them.

But right as he was about to enter, the adult dragon stepped in, stopping him.

“You’re a guest. You’re not a part of our tribe. Stronger you may be, follow the rules of dragonkind, or you’ll have to answer to our king.”

Rael scoffed.

“That’s exactly what I’m looking for, so maybe that’s not so bad.”

With that, Rael entered the room and plopped down on a very comfortable cotton bed.

The adult dragon and he met eyes, and as if accepting his defeat, the dragon finally closed the door and silently walked away.

After a few minutes, it was completely silent.

What was that about? Rael asked. I get that they might not respect the other dragon tribes, but come on… A room with a shit stain on the ground? Do they think I’m a pushover?

[It’s always been like this. The other dragons even made laws on how this is customary and expected. Basically, since you just broke into their tribe’s home and took one of their higher Grade dragons’ rooms, you’re pretty much a rule breaker,] Burger said.

A rule breaker, huh.

That didn’t sound too bad.

If the alternative was becoming a welcoming mat, then so be it.

Nonetheless, since Rael didn’t have anything more to do, he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

He wasn’t sure how long he had slept for, but when he woke up, he felt several dozen powerful presences surround him from all sides.

Of course, they were outside of the mountain, but even so, Rael knew that they found him just as he found them.

He stood up with a smile, made the bed like a good lad, and lastly, exited the room.

Acting as though he was oblivious, he went back toward the staircase that the adult dragon had previously led him up, and instead climbed down to the main area.

Yet when he arrived in the previously lively area, he was met with complete silence, and not a single dragon in sight.

Almost like someone had evacuated the dragons.

Rael let out a sigh.

He really didn’t mean for something like this to happen, as he came here with the hopes of making some allies.

But oh well… he couldn’t exactly change the outcome now that it had happened.

Anyhow, Rael carefully made his way out of the passage that he first entered the mountain from, and only then did he realize that all the traps had not only been reset, but also strengthened.

Obviously, their strength was still nothing special, as he could just swat them away, but he respected their effort.

After a couple more minutes, Rael finally left the mountain, and then, while making sure it didn’t leave his sight, he flew upward.

The dragons that had been watching him backed off.

But that didn’t mean he couldn’t see them.

Rael locked onto one of them, and it was a Grade 6 dragon.

Then another Grade 6, and another.

Rael eventually spotted a Grade 7.

Though by how weak that dragon was, Rael knew it was most likely not the Dragon King.

So instead, Rael made sure to flare his mana and continue upward.

Right as he arrived at the very top of this singular mountain, he sat down on the snow and closed his eyes.

Yet when he reopened them, he saw hundreds of dragons surrounding him from all sides, just this time, they didn’t even try to hide their presences.

It was a little funny how determined they looked, especially since he could kill them all in less time than they could blink.

But then again, he came here with peace in mind, and so he would stand by it, at least for a little while longer.

“Where’s your king?” Rael asked, boosting his voice with mana so it would travel further.

A few of the dragons backed off, but the Grade 7 dragon flew up to Rael and landed on the snowy mountaintop just a few meters in front of him.

This dragon was in his human form, but he looked the most mature out of all of them.

Furthermore, Rael felt like this guy had a few Laws at a decently high level already.

He was definitely the most outstanding out of them all, but…

“You’re not the Rock Dragon King, are you?”

The dragon furrowed his brows slightly.

“I am. My name is Asper, and I am the king of the Rock Dragon tribe. Who are you, and which tribe are you from?”

Wow…

Well, that was disappointing.

Rael was half expecting to see some Grade 9 or 10 powerhouse… but it was just this.

But then again, by normal standards, this didn’t seem that bad.

He was strong in his own right, and in the grand scheme of things, he would be pretty useful.

Still, since Rael needed to get this guy’s acknowledgement in order to go up a Tier, that was exactly what he planned on doing.

“My name’s Rael, and I’m from the Fate Dragon tribe. You don’t need to know anything more, just that I need your acknowledgement. That’s all.”

Asper furrowed his brows.

“A Fate Dragon? No… Rather, are you not aware you can only get the acknowledgement of your tribe’s king? I can’t acknowledge you even if I wanted to.”

…What?

Burger?

[Remember the laws I mentioned? Here’s another one. Just make him break the laws, and you can get yourself an acknowledgement. Though, the next Tier might be a little harder…] Burger replied, whistling to himself.

[Let’s just say you might or might not have to fight the Fate Dragon King.]

“…”

Well shit.
