Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 711: Not a Nice Welcome

Capítulo 711: Not a Nice Welcome

Rael glanced around and saw many unfamiliar faces.

Obviously, the majority of the people he was seeing were in their dragon form, but a surprising amount were using their human form.

They looked like children, and only very few people actually had adult humanoid forms.

He was surprised, since he had kind of expected these dragons to be ancient, but clearly, the dragon race wasn’t exactly what he expected.

Grade 1 dragons, Grade 2… some weren’t even Graded.

A couple were at Grade 4 or 5, and only a single one was Grade 6.

Burger, is this just a weak tribe? Rael wondered.

[Nah, this is pretty normal. Most of the tribes are like this. Only the special ones are filled to the brim with powerful dragons,] Burger replied. [It also seems like most of the powerful dragons are out hunting or something, so if you were an intruder, you would pretty much become the king of the Rock Dragons, that is if you killed them all.]

Rael shook his head.

I’m not planning on killing any dragons.

And he was serious about it too.

They didn’t even seem that arrogant either.

They were like regular humans in a way.

Rael smiled to himself and made his presence known.

Every single one of the nearby dragons suddenly glanced at him.

A few of them backed off, as if sensing the extent of his powers, whereas a few actually came closer.

“Hello…?” one of the tinier dragons said as he approached Rael, tugging at his pants.

“Who are you?”

“Uhh… I’m here to meet the Rock Dragon King?” Rael replied, puzzled.

The tiny dragon tilted his head slightly.

“Our king is not here right now. He is visiting the Natura Dragons. No one is sure when he will get back.”

[Oho? Seems like the Rock Dragon King had gotten a little too lonely whilst being holed up here with the other Rock Dragons. He needed some company from the Natura Dragons. Heh… hehehe,] Burger laughed mischievously.

Rael rolled his eyes, both at Burger’s comment and the tiny dragon’s response.

“I see. Do you mind if I stay here for a little while then?”

The tiny dragon thought about it for a moment, then nodded.

However, when both the tiny dragon and Rael glanced around them, they spotted the disapproving gazes of many of the dragons.

Sure, they were afraid of him, but they also had enough pride to not let him in.

And that was because they were territorial.

Rael had nearly forgotten that.

He wasn’t a Rock Dragon, and so him being with the others would piss them off heavily.

Clearly, he had already managed to do that.

“I’m just a visitor. You can give me any quarters. I don’t want to displease you,” Rael said magnanimously.

One of the dragons who had an adult human form stepped up.

He was the only Grade 6 present, and honestly… he was pretty weak even taking his Grade into account.

Sensing that Rael was evaluating him, the dragon seemed offended for a brief moment.

But since he was old enough to understand what would happen if he lashed out, he quickly calmed his anger and glanced directly into Rael’s eyes.

“Follow me, please.”

With that, the adult dragon turned around, and the other dragons parted as well, making way for him.

As he began to walk ahead, Rael decided to follow after him.

The disapproving gazes of the dragons pissed him off a little, but it also made him remember one of the things Burger had said a few months back.

Hey, what kind of dragon am I now? At first, I was a Fate Dragon, but now what? Am I an Infinity Dragon? Rael mused.

[You’re still a Fate Dragon. Pretty sure you could have answered your own question if you just looked at your status screen, dumbass,] Burger replied with a scoff.

Rael nodded.

So then are there other Fate Dragons? Would I be considered a part of their tribe? Rather, are they strong?

Burger let out a sigh.

[What a chatterbox… You could just buy the memories of some ancient dragon and not have to ask me anything.]

Rael tilted his head.

But then what reason would I have to bring you along then?

Hearing that, Burger froze for a moment.

Then, he let out a chuckle.

[That’s right. They are very powerful. One of the most powerful in the Dragon Realm, actually. Since they can harness Supreme Laws, they are automatically in the highest tier, just like Space Dragons, Time Dragons… You get the gist.]

That made sense.

But Burger didn’t answer one of his other questions.

And as if clocking that, Burger said:

[Technically, yes and no. You would be considered one of them, but since you were never born in this realm, you would still be labeled as an outsider, born in the mortal realm.]

So there’s that kind of prejudice… I see, thanks Burger.

With that, Rael simply began following the adult dragon and glancing around the cave.

It was set up with the basic necessities like shelter, food, toilets, and other stuff.

But it was surprisingly shitty for dragons. Weren’t they one of those races that literally got knowledge upon being born?

He would at least expect them to have a utopia carved into the mountainside, but oh well… Maybe his perception of dragons really was just a little too much.

Either way, after just a few more minutes of walking around their little city, Rael and the adult dragon made their way up a carved staircase to the upper levels of the mountain.

The surroundings were a little fancier than in the main area he had entered.

The walls were carved with dueling dragons. They were surprisingly high-detail, and Rael guessed whoever made them was on the artistic side of the dragon race.

Regardless of that, though, the two finally made their way up to a different floor where there were hundreds of rooms, all carved into the mountain.

The adult dragon pointed at one room in particular.

“Wait there until our king comes back.”
