Chapter 4522: Island

Chapter 4522: Island

We were flying toward the city when we turned toward the island, not far away from us.

"It is our personal island. I believe you deserve to rest for a while before we head to the city," said Prime Syvar and looked at me. "Rest on a beautiful island, it isn’t too bad," I replied, with a smile.

It is not a big island, but a beautiful one, filled with rivers, lakes, waterfalls, and sandy beaches.

Many of it is not natural, but it didn’t matter. It looks damn beautiful. So, I agreed; it would be great for my mental state to rest in a place like this.

Thud!

We landed in front of a manor made of pure white stones. It’s not huge, but more than big enough for three people.

"It’s a beautiful manor you have, Prime Syvar," I praised. It is beautiful. It’s clear that it was designed by someone who knows what he was doing.

"It was a gift from my first husband," she replied, with a gentle smile appearing on her face for a moment, before the pain appeared.

It disappeared just as quickly as a melancholic smile.

She pushed open the large redwood door, and we entered a spacious living room with stairs leading to the left and right wings of the manor.

"You can take any suite from the left wing, Prime Arys," said Prime Syvar.

I nodded and walked toward the stairs when I reached the floor above. I looked around before choosing the last suite, which has a massive balcony with a grey view of the island.

"It’s beautiful," I said, looking at the view of the waterfall and the sea.

I watched it for a few seconds before I entered the suite. I am tired. So, I took out formation and activated it before lying on the bed to sleep.

I am hungry as well, but I need to sleep first. It had been days since I slept. It is why I fell asleep instantly, and it was a deep sleep without any dreams or nightmares.

When I woke up, it was a night with beautiful stars shining in the sky, giving a beautiful view from my bed.

I watched it for a few minutes before finally getting up and walking into the bathroom.

I freshened up and showered in a beautiful bathroom before walking and changing into comfortable clothes.

I wanted to eat immediately, but it wouldn’t feel proper eating without them. Besides, I am sure, the host must have some plan.

So, I stepped out of my suite and soon, my nose caught something. Leading me to the kitchen, where I saw two of them.

Prime Syvar is cooking while Prime Dynvar is sitting in front of her at the counter.

"Prime Arys, come take a seat," she invited. "Thank you, Prime Dynvar," I thanked before sitting beside her.

"I didn’t know you were a culinary master, Prime Syvar," I said as I turned to her and the delicious food she was cooking. "Only Grade VI, and it’s more of a hobby, Prime Arys," she replied.

A genuine smile appeared on her face as she said it.

I could tell she is a compatriot who genuinely loves the culinary arts. I wish I could stand beside her and cook, but unfortunately, I could not.

I hate it, seeing it is very rare, I come across people like her. Despite having a long life, a few Prime choose to pursue the culinary arts.

Most prefer alchemy, artifice, and runes.

I miss cooking openly while talking with people, even the praise I receive. Now, the only time I can cook is in the safe corner of my abode.

Even then, I remain careful. Ready to wipe away every trace at a moment’s notice.

My identity is too sensitive, so I couldn’t take any risks.

"It is smelling good," I said as I looked at her. Her technique is good; she is manipulating energies in the food well. All she needs to do is refine them, and she will reach Grade VII.

She is very close; it wouldn’t take more than a decade of dedicated practice. If she has someone to guide her, it would take even less.

I could see so many things that could help her improve her cooking, but I didn’t utter a single word about it.

"Thank you, Prime Arys," she replied.

"Can you cook?" I asked Dynvar if she shook her. "I tried teaching her, but she is unwilling to learn an art that could not help her progress," replied Prime Syvar, shaking her head.

"Every art provides something, no matter how useless it seems," I said.

"Have you tried your hand at culinary, Prime Arys?" asked Prime Syvar. "Yes, but I didn’t get to pursue it the way I want, seeing I am bogged down by alchemy, artifice, and runes," I replied, shaking my head.

What I said is technically true. I practice those three more than I practice the culinary art.

"You are a very good alchemist. That spirit you gave me was truly amazing," she replied. "Thank you for the Prime Syvar," I replied.

"You know, we could do it here after dinner," I said, and both of their eyes lit up like the sun.

"Though, you will have to keep it here to age, unless you have realm-type storage," I added a moment later.

"How long will it take to age?" asked Syvar. "It should take around six to nine months," I replied. They looked at each other for a moment before turning to me.

"We could stay here for that time. We already fixed the major problem and didn’t have anything important to do," said Dynvar.

She is at the limit, and I am sure she is preparing for the breakthrough in Silver Prime. Before she does that, it would help her a lot if she could take her laws higher than they are.

They are very high already, but even higher would help.

"Good, we will start after dinner," I said, and they nodded with big smiles.
