Chapter 4521: Leak Sealed

Once more, I felt the pressure of the ocean as I got out. I barely thought about it, as my thoughts are filled with relief that I got out in one piece.

In a place that I am supposed to be and not some corner of the world.

"It is sealed, there is no leaking!" said Dynvar with a voice full of joy. I turned toward the gate, and she is right, there is no leaking. Not even the slightest one.

"It seemed like we did our job well," I replied, relieved. It would have been disastrous if all the corruption of the realm spilled out in the open.

"You did the job, Prime Arys. I just accompanied you there," she stated. I didn’t say anything, just smiled.

For a few minutes, she looked at things to see whether the leaking had fully stopped or whether it would come back. She could not tell, but she was able to confirm that the leaking had fully stopped; there is not even a speck of it coming out.

"I got all the data I need. Let’s go," she said, and we began to swim up.

The trip had been successful, more than I had thought it would be.

I was able to collect the highest quality Prime-Grade corruption and a lot of resources. The best of them is the lotus that is going to help me tremendously.

It has already been days since I planted it, and it seems to have accepted its new environment.

I copied it as much as possible and did a good job. Other than the new place and forbidden power, everything else is like its old place.

I had found a good number of seeds, but I am not in a hurry to plant them.

Those seeds are precious, and I want to do good research on the plan before planting them. I was too, whether I could grow them without the help of the monsters, it would make my job much easier.

I have only three monsters; thirty more from other lakes, but the difference in purity is massive among those.

If I couldn’t grow them without a large number of monsters. Then I would work on those monsters, breed them higher and higher in corruption until they got used to the purity I have.

It is a task that will take a lot of time, but I might be forced to do it if I don’t see any other choice.

I pushed those thoughts away and looked around. There are a lot of aquatic monsters. Many of them got used to the corruption, but I added them to the weakest corruption I had collected in the realm, and they will die.

They may have used it, but not at the level I need to.

I wish I could have collected more monsters in the lake, but I couldn’t; it was too dangerous. I already took a massive risk to get three, and I have them in my core.

It didn’t take long before we reached the surface and burst out of the dark ocean.

To my surprise, Prime Syvar is standing where we left her, standing under the nights sky.

"Grandma," greeted Dynvar as the old woman appeared in front of her and hugged her. "You did it, my granddaughter," she replied.

An embarrassed smile appeared on Dynvar’s face, and she shook her head.

"Its Prime Arys; he is the one who did it. Without him, it would have been a complete failure," she replied.

The old woman’s eyes turned to me. "My organisation and I are in your debt, Prime Arys," she said. "I did, because I could, Prime Syvar,’ I replied.

She looks like she wanted to say something, but didn’t.

"Let’s go, I have stayed in corruption enough. Now, I want to clean the place, shower, sleep, and rest," said Dynvar. "And you deserve it," she replied.

A moment later, we begin to fly toward.

She isn’t the only one who wants to do those things. I’m also tired, want to shower and eat. I am famished, actually, and if these two weren’t with me, I would have entered my abode.

It would have slowly swam through the ocean, while I do those things.

Unfortunately, I am flying with these two. However, it’s not much of a problem. I could easily bear for another half a day, until we reach the city.

"How was the realm? Were there any major changes?" asked Prime Syvar.

"Yes, a lot of them. More broken formations and a weaker realm," replied Dynvar. I could see the disappointment appearing in the woman’s eyes.

"Let’s hope, realm strengthened with the leaking stopped," said the woman while Dynvar only nodded.

It would be wise to stay away from the realm for the foreseeable future. It’s a dangerous place, even for Primes like Dynvar and me.

The most dangerous part is getting in and out. It’s dangerous in weakening realms.

The fear I felt was intense. I wasn’t sure whether I would get out in one piece. Anything could have happened; thankfully, nothing went wrong this time.

Hours passed, and we moved. The journey was silent, with a few words exchanged in between.

Soon, it was dawn when the islands began to appear, and we once more helped the places that were getting, but this time there were a lot fewer, and monsters seemed fewer than last time.

’The stoppage in leaking had already started to affect the things,’ I thought.

In a few months, the monster attacks will stop. The corruption might be thick, but the ocean is vast. In the month, all the visible corruption would disappear.

In a few months, there would barely be any traces of it.

If it were on the land, it would be far longer. Hundreds of years, but it’s different in the ocean. The vastness of it makes it very hard for anything to stick in it permanently,

I shook my head and gathered a sample of air, like I had been doing every hour, to analyse things. I didn’t have to do it, but since I am just flying, I might as well do it.

It’s not like it is taking anything from me other than time.
