Chapter 4523: Craft
Chapter 4523: Craft
"This is really good, Prime Syvar," I said as I took a bite of the steak.
"I have eaten quite a water buffalo steaks, but this one is one of the best; not everyone could manage to retain and mold water energies, while cooking it at such high heat," I added and took another bite.
"Thank you for the praise, Prime Arys," she replied. She tried to be graceful, but I could tell the praise had made her happy.
People like praise, especially for the things they are passionate about.
"Grandma has excellent control over the energies; a very few among the Primes could compare to her," said Dynvar. "You are embarrassing your Grandma, Dynvar," replied the old woman, shaking her head.
It was a sumptuous meal she had cooked, and I brought out the wine.
It is not the law type or nectar, but it is still a very good wine, crafted from rare materials I had found in the realm. It had aged well in my core and provided detoxifying effects.
This is my public wine, the one without forbidden power. The one with the forbidden power is even more amazing.
"What things should I look at before breaking through the Silver Prime, Prime Arys?" asked Prime Dynvar suddenly, and the strange silence descended on the table.
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Though I had hinted many times that my level is beyond what I am showing, I still didn’t expect her to ask about it directly.
It’s a tricky question since I am Silver Prime, as she has been expecting. Hell, not even Prime; wrong advice could destroy her chances; that is not something I want on my conscience.
"I am sure your seniors had already told you what you need to know about the breakthrough into Silver Prime. So, I will say one thing,"
"Only make a breakthrough when you truly feel ready," I advised.
These are the safest words I could speak. Breakthroughs are delicate, and every little thing matters. Especially the mind, it is the most important thing.
"Thank you for the advice, Prime Arys," she thanked a moment later.
I smiled and focused on the dinner, feeling relieved.
I will have to be careful, more vague, and tight-lipped about giving advice on things I have no experience in, or I might end up destroying someone’s future.
"Thank you for the delicious dinner, Prime Syvar," I thanked the woman. "It was my honour, Prime Arys," she replied.
The plates cleared, and we sat down on the porch, enjoying the beautiful scenery around us.
"How long since you have had this island, if you don’t mind me asking?" I asked. "Around two hundred and fifty years," she replied.
"You had spent quite a resources here," I said, to which she smiled.
On the surface, it’s not visible, but when one looks clearly. They would see that every inch of this island is covered in the enchantments.
They are powerful enough to harm a Prime.
Such formations aren’t cheap; they require enormous resources, and even for the Prime like her, it is a considerable cost.
We sat and talked for a little more than an hour before I got up.
"Let’s go, let’s craft some spirit," I said. They had been waiting for it, and their eyes lit up as I said those words. They didn’t ask me because they didn’t seem desperate.
We walked out of the manor and followed the stone path for a kilometre before we reached a stone building with a pyramid shape.
Prime Syvar opened the door, and we walked inside the huge hall, which was filled with alchemy tools.
Not the regular one either; many of them are rare.
"It seemed like you spent quite a lot of time here, Prime Syvar," I said, and this woman smiled. "This is my residence, when I am not in the organisation or on missions," replied the old woman.
Soon, we stopped in front of a wooden contraption. It looked basic until one could see complex hidden runes.
"So, which fruit are we using?" I asked, and a moment later, a bucket of red apples with purple marks appeared. Syvar is surprised, so am I.
These are apples from the deepest part of the curtain. I have seen the tree and seen that most of the apples on it had been harvested.
I thought she would choose the different ones; the one with weaker law power, not the strongest one.
I looked at them before at the contraption. I opened its control panel and began to make changes. "This is a good enough tool, but we have to make sure with custom settings that we do not lose a single speck of law," I stated.
I let them watch the setting and could see the surprise. I didn’t explain as they could see it.
That done, I put ninety-eight apples in the contraption. The amount may be good, but it will be at most able to produce around three to four bottles of spirit.
It might not seem much, but if produced as I am thinking and with the concentration of law in them.
It is going to be very powerful.
With the apples inside, I put my hand on the board and activated it. As I did, a powerful layer of energy appeared around the apples.
The next moment, hands of energy appeared and began cutting the apples and removing the seeds.
They are the only parts that won’t be used in the process. "The seeds could be used as a focus to comprehend the law or craft the poison out of them," I stated, and removed them carefully.
Someone like me could even use them to form the poison. Seeing the amount of law power contained in them, it would be powerful enough to kill the Primes.
They have a lot of law power in them, but unfortunately, I could not extract it.
I do not need to; the seeds will be very useful to them. They could use it themselves or sell it. There would be lines of people willing to buy it from them.
