Death… And Me

Chapter 4065: Helping Hand

Chapter 4065: Helping Hand

"Hey!" Kentucky gave them an idea. "Try to bring her into your Pocket Dimensional Realm. Whatever that energy is, it will be powerless against your absolute control over that place."

The Celestial nodded, and his body disappeared, which made Werxia’s own head almost hit the floor since he was holding her. Fortunately, he reappeared almost instantly, grabbing her head again. "Shit! The energy doesn’t let me pull her away!"

Whoever created that collar definitely thought of everything. If the collar were active, it would prevent the body from being moved to Dimensional Realms.

Rean scratched the back of his head, flying onto the stage and appearing by Werxia’s side. "Move. Leave it to me."

"Who the hell are you?" Werxia’s Celestial asked back. Rean was just a Divinity, so what was he even thinking he could do?

"Is that so?" Rean faintly smiled. Then, he simply began to make his way down the stage again.

"Wait!" Of course, the guy was without ideas, and even the Legendary Level Pills were not enough. Besides, asking for anyone else’s help wouldn’t work, as no one there would spend Legendary Level Pills on Werxia anymore. "Please, go ahead."

Rean looked back. "Are you sure. I’m just a Divinity Realm guy. How could I possibly help with something that even a Legendary Level Pill couldn’t? How could I do something against that collar’s power, which came from the Celestial Plane? Weren’t those your thoughts just now?"

The Celestial felt like killing Rean right there and then. However, his princess took precedence. He was tasked to protect her by the Zentian Empire itself, precisely because she would be one of the best choices. They had already tested her ahead of time. She just needed to get to the end of Zanbril’s crazy tests, and everything would be good.

Sure enough, she did just that, but now she was about to die, and no one knows why yet. "I won’t lie, those are still my thoughts. However, I’m without options. If you really have a way of helping her, I will swallow my pride and accept any price as long as it is within my means to deliver."

Rean patted the man’s shoulder. "I require no reward. I’m only helping because I happen to be here, that’s all. Let’s just say it’s her lucky day."

Rean took Werxia and sent his own energy inside. He recognized that golden lighting. No, to be more specific, he recognized the golden power it worked with. It was pretty much the same he had seen from Victor and Caladara, who Rean believed were God Realm Experts. (Chapter 3682, 3945)

’Hum... so this is the power of the Celestial Plane, uh? It is truly strong, at a much higher level than even our Sky Energy. I wonder just how much better our Sky Energy will become once we change the Divine Origin Energy for Celestial Energy later.’

Suddenly, Rean smiled, and his Yang Energy acted. That Golden Lighting Power immediately acted like a shark that had just smelled blood, rushing through Werxia’s body and entering Rean’s body instead.

"Gotcha!" However, before it could dive into his meridians, Rean sealed the path and created a concentration of Yang Energy on the palm of his hand as he let Werxia’s body go. Typically, such a thing wouldn’t work. However, because Rean’s Yang Energy was the purest there was, Golden Lightning Power simply couldn’t resist it.

Everyone saw the Golden Lightning crackling in Rean’s palm, but it was quickly losing power. It was feeding its power with Werxia’s life, and now it had nothing to feed itself anymore.

Finally, a few seconds later, it disappeared. "Sure enough, this was an extremely pure Yang Element, no doubt from the Celestial Plane. It was different from our Lightning here in the A1 Universe. I don’t think it was natural. It was likely something specifically modified for the collar. Some guys up there have some questionable taste, that’s for sure."

The Celestial finally saw Werxia’s body healing rapidly, using the energy of the two Legendary Level Healing Pills. They were fast, almost matching Rean’s own Instant Recovery. Of course, that was mostly because Werxia’s cultivation was very low compared to the pill level. Had she been in the Divinity Realm or even a Celestial, even those pills wouldn’t have gotten close to Rean’s Healing Powers.

Everyone looked at Rean in amazement. He just dealt with a power that came from the Celestial Plane. How many could do what he did? Even the Celestials didn’t dare to try to absorb that energy themselves, let alone use their own energy as bait.

Zanbril knew Rean and Kentucky were special, but they overcame his expectations. "I’m in need of a few new subordinates. Could you be interested in being a member of the Zentian Empire? I promise it is worth the trouble."

Everyone couldn’t help but swallow hard. Many of those in there would love to receive that offer themselves.

Rean, however, shook his head. "No, thanks. We are only here to give a hand to Xixie, that’s all."

Zanbril would be lying if he said he wasn’t disappointed. Nonetheless, he knew it would be better to create a good relationship with someone with such potential than to be angry at them for refusing his offer. "Is that so? Then I hope you don’t mind exchanging numbers with me, just in case we can have some deals in the future. Not a bad thing to have a Zentian Empire’s Prince number in your list, you know?"

"Oh! That can definitely be done." Rean didn’t mind.

*Ugh...*

Suddenly, Werxia woke up, looking around and feeling confused. The pain was still there, and she could see the mess in her body. It was truly good that the Legendary Pills were used, and they will be able to heal everything in time. "W-What happened?"

Still, he was lost. She didn’t understand what happened at all. Was she attacked? Was someone daring enough to come into this place and attack her just as she was about to be selected as a wife? She hardly thought so. Then, something must have happened once she put the collar. That was the only possible explanation.

Rean turned to Zanbril, and so did the rest of the spectators. Regardless of what Rean did to that power, the fact was that he was dealing with the outcome of Zanbril’s collar. Not even Rean knew why that collar reacted in such a way. As an accessory from the Celestial Plane, Rean couldn’t recognize most of its inscriptions and runes either.

Zanbril narrowed his eyes, walking to the collar that was still on the ground. He used its pair, and it showed no such reaction.

"Zanbril!" One of Zanbril’s Celestial warned him.

"It’s fine." Yet, Zanbril took the collar anyway. Sure enough, nothing happened to him. It was as if he knew it wouldn’t hurt him.
