Walker Of The Worlds

Chapter 3804: Heading To Wild Peak

Chapter 3804: Heading To Wild Peak

High Elder Shatter Peak finally stood up after nearly three straight hours of eating.

The giant table that had once been buried beneath mountains of food now looked as though a swarm of locusts had passed through it. Plates sat empty. Cauldrons had been scraped clean. Several servants stared blankly at the destruction while trying to calculate just how much food had disappeared.

Little Bull wiped his mouth and looked around.

"Is there more?" he asked hopefully.

Several servants almost cried.

High Elder Shatter Peak laughed loudly. "No more."

Little Bull blinked. "No more food?"

"No more food."

The young man looked genuinely disappointed.

The giant elder slapped the table. "Good! That’s the correct reaction!"

Several nearby disciples silently stared. To them, the fact that Little Bull had consumed enough food to feed dozens of immortals and still seemed hungry was already terrifying. The fact that High Elder Shatter Peak approved of it made things even more terrifying.

One servant cautiously approached. "E-Elder... the kitchens are currently preparing another batch..."

High Elder Shatter Peak waved his hand. "Forget it."

The servant looked relieved.

The giant stood up from his seat. "It’s getting late."

Little Bull glanced outside. The sun had already begun descending toward the horizon and golden light spread across the sky while long shadows stretched across the distant buildings.

The giant crossed his arms. "We need to return."

Little Bull nodded. "Because of work?"

The giant looked confused. "What work?"

The young man blinked. "Then why?"

The giant answered as if it were obvious. "We’ll miss dinner."

Little Bull immediately nodded. "That’s serious."

The giant pointed at him. "Exactly."

The surrounding disciples nearly choked. Only these two people in the entire sect would consider missing dinner a greater concern than administrative duties, disciple registration, or cultivation.

Lin Mu almost laughed internally.

As Little Bull, however, he maintained a serious expression. "Dinner sounds nice."

The giant grinned. "See? You understand."

The more High Elder Shatter Peak spoke with Little Bull, the more satisfied he became. The young man possessed none of the habits he disliked. There was no obsession with status and no endless questions about cultivation resources.

He had no concern about inheritance rankings and neither any schemes. He didn’t even make any attempts to curry favor. The young man simply cared about food, strength, and straightforward answers.

To the giant body cultivator, that was practically perfection. Without another word, High Elder Shatter Peak stepped outside while Little Bull followed behind him. The elder took him to a teleportation array which they took to the Inner Court Continent.

It barely took them a few minutes to reach there as it was just teleporting within the world. They left the hall without even talking to anyone, as merely the sight of the elder made everyone step back.

And the moment they reached the plaza outside, the giant suddenly grabbed Little Bull by the shoulder.

The young man tilted his head. "What are we doing?"

"We’re flying."

Little Bull looked around. "Where’s the ship?"

The giant laughed. "We don’t need one."

Before Little Bull could ask another question, High Elder Shatter Peak bent his knees.

KACHA

The ground beneath him cracked and several nearby disciples instantly fled. A split second later the giant launched himself upward.

BOOM!

The plaza exploded beneath his feet as the very air shattered. A shockwave swept through the surroundings as Little Bull felt the world blur. In a single leap they rose nearly a thousand meters into the sky and the city below rapidly shrank.

Wind roared past them and the clouds seemed close enough to touch. Little Bull widened his eyes and his expression contained just the right amount of surprise. Lin Mu himself was not particularly impressed.

He had moved far faster than this countless times.

Still, Little Bull had never experienced such a thing.

"You can jump this high?" the young man asked.

The giant laughed. "Of course."

Then something changed as a vast amount of vitality surged from the giant’s body. Lin Mu instantly became attentive. Deep crimson energy erupted outward and it flowed around the elder like a river of blood colored sunlight.

Unlike Immortal Qi, this power felt entirely different. It was pure vitality, the pure life force of this giant of a man and his pure physical strength. The aura wrapped around them both before suddenly pushing forward.

WHOOSH!

The surrounding scenery blurred as the giant had effectively turned himself into a living projectile. Mountains disappeared behind them, and forests became streaks of green while the speed continued increasing.

Little Bull grabbed onto the elder’s robe. "I don’t want to fall."

The giant laughed. "Scared?"

Little Bull shook his head. "I have already fallen a few times."

The giant looked at him curiously as the young man continued. "If I fall again, I might forget who I am this time."

For a moment the giant froze, then he burst into laughter. His laughter echoed through the sky, and several passing flying beasts immediately changed direction hearing it.

The giant laughed so hard tears nearly appeared in his eyes. "That’s a good point!"

Little Bull nodded seriously. "It seems dangerous."

The giant continued laughing for several minutes and as they traveled, Lin Mu secretly observed everything around him.

The scenery changed constantly as massive forests stretched beyond the horizon and vast lakes reflected the evening sunlight. Mountain ranges rose and fell like giant waves while countless flying beasts could occasionally be seen.

Immortal cranes, Thunder hawks, Spirit Sky Serpents, and even rare Winged Cloud Scale serpents, all could be seen. Some traveled alone while others moved in groups numbering hundreds.

Every so often they passed cities belonging to the sect, some were dedicated to alchemy, others focused on formations and many contained huge populations of disciples. The sheer scale of the Heavenly Stream Guardian Sect continued astonishing Lin Mu.

After nearly eleven months of travel, he had already learned much, yet seeing everything with his own eyes remained different.

The sect truly occupied an entire world.

Hours gradually passed as the sky shifted toward orange and red. Eventually the terrain below began changing as the cultivated regions disappeared, the organized settlements vanished and the wilds grew denser.

Forests became thicker, mountains became larger and beast auras became increasingly common.

The giant suddenly pointed ahead. "We’re here."

Little Bull looked forward, then he froze.
