The Ten Beauties didn't know whether to take Daoist Chu's words seriously or not. To them, it still seemed rather absurd that a person could eat like this.
They could understand not wasting food, but what Lin Mu was doing was beyond that. He was literally eating parts that were considered inedible.
Sure, technically the bones were edible, but not to humans.
A beast might be able to eat them, but a human would most certainly damage their teeth and might not even be able to digest them. And yet, there was a specimen in front of them that was defying it all.
After a few minutes of this, the beauties simply gave up on comprehending such eating habits and reverted to their training as hostesses: do what the patron likes best.
Their gentle smiles returned as they continued to serve Lin Mu and the others.
Lin Mu, too, continued to eat as he pleased, and somewhere in between, a low growl was heard.
"Oh yeah, you don't need to all serve me," Lin Mu said, looking over at Little Shrubby, who was sitting on a pillow with a wronged expression. "Feed him too."
"We can?" Miss Hellebore, Miss Bluebell, and the other beauties had stars in their eyes.
"Yeah, he's hungry too." Lin Mu nodded. "Eat well, Shrubby," he said.
"MEOW!" Little Shrubby let out a soulful cry as the beauties surrounded him.
"Say, ahhhh." Miss Sunflower carefully cut the beef steak into small pieces so that Little Shrubby could eat them and fed them with her dainty hands.
"Meo." Little Shrubby ate the morsel and enjoyed it thoroughly.
"Aww… Look at him!" The beauties once again fell in love with the kitten and began to feed him with enthusiasm.
Of course, about five minutes later, they realized something.
"How many plates has he eaten?" Miss Lavender asked.
"Nine… The kitten ate nine whole plates," Miss Lilac replied, looking at the empty dishes.
They looked at the small kitten and then at the large portions that were meant for a fully grown human. No matter how they tried, they couldn't figure out how that much food could fit in that tiny body.
They had been lost in their love for the kitten and kept on feeding him, not realizing just how much they had fed him.
"He's an Immortal Beast. He can eat a lot too," Lin Mu said while taking a rare pause between his bites.
"He's an Immortal Beast?" The Ten Beauties did another take at Little Shrubby, unable to accept it.
No matter what angle they looked at the small kitten from, it looked like a common spirit beast. Their Immortal Senses also detected nothing from Little Shrubby, which made it even harder for them to believe.
It wasn't like the Ten Flower Beauties were mortals either. All of them were Immortal Realm cultivators, with their cultivation bases varying between the Second Tribulation Stage of the Immortal Realm and the Third Tribulation Stage. Among them, Miss Rose, Miss Sunflower, Miss Hellebore, and Miss Cherry were all at the Third Tribulation Stage, while the rest were at the Second Tribulation Stage.
It was a rather decent cultivation base for someone working as a hostess.
In fact, this was the reason they worked here, as the pay was very high for someone at their cultivation base.
Compared to other industries, they got a lot of resources here on top of the tips that the customers often paid. Not to mention, some of the patrons that liked them would even send over precious cultivation resources like herbs, pills, and more, thus making it very lucrative.

The beauties decided to accept Lin Mu's words as is and gave up on understanding this as well. If their customer said that the cat was a dragon, they would say that it was a dragon.
The customer was king, after all.
A few hours passed like this as they finished course after course, with Monk Hushu and Daoist Chu getting full. But there was no way Lin Mu would be satisfied by just this and ordered another round of dishes!
By now, the Ten Flower Beauties had gotten numb to it and simply watched it all with smiles on their faces. The other servants were also very happy, as the more Lin Mu ordered, the more commission they would be getting. To them, Lin Mu was simply a golden purse that had walked in.
They ended up spending about ten hours at the Four Fruits Restaurant, with Lin Mu finishing three entire menu sets alone.
"Ahh! That was nice," Lin Mu said, patting his belly that was slightly bulging.
"Mew…" Little Shrubby had also eaten a lot and was sprawled on Miss Rose's thighs, feeling too full to say anything more.
"Will that be all, Master Lin Mu?" Miss Rose inquired.
"I'd like another set of all the menu dishes for take away," Lin Mu replied. "Oh, and the wines and liquor were rather nice too," he added.
