Obviously, Rael decided to show her some towers that he remembered reading about. They were like towers where rankers and other people climbed, and those towers had floors where there were dozens of realms in them.
But it was just that. How exactly did it work…?
Rael honestly didn’t get it. Wouldn’t such overpowered beings just breeze through everything? How would that tower prove to be a challenge to anyone?
After a few seconds, Nyx finally replied:
[Yeah. It looks similar. That would make sense… to be honest. Maybe it’s like some kind of containment for powerful beings, a prison? Or…]
She looked a bit deeper into his mind. Obviously, his mind was like a treasure trove when it came to information about such towers, and of course…
[I see. Yeah, it’s most likely just a simple tower. As for the power scaling, I’ve got no clue. But we’ll find out soon, I guess?]
Rael nodded.
I really hope I’ll be able to contact Zafira, Lilith, and Gaia from there. Or at the very least, I hope they don’t forget me.
Nyx scoffed.
[Since time flows differently there, and both your wives are going to be training for one to two years, you might be able to reunite with them in a few hours to maybe a few days. Though I’m also guessing that if it’s really as hard as those towers you’ve read about, then these few days will be a little longer than you’d expect.]
Fair enough.
Well, either way, Rael decided to lead by example. Since Renoir was a lot more hesitant than Rael was, he took a few steps toward the tornado. Once he was close enough, the tornado began pulling him in.
He could easily escape if he used some mana, but since he was specifically told not to, Rael just gave in and allowed the tornado to take him, until finally he was dragged to the very center.
At first, nothing much happened. But just then, he felt like his legs were torn off and so were his arms. He felt like his consciousness was being forcefully ripped out of his body as well, and the fact that he couldn’t actually use mana only made the pain that much more excruciating.
But at the same time, his body’s natural healing was fast enough to prevent his consciousness from escaping, and as for his body being ripped apart… Well, Rael decided to just ignore it.
A few minutes passed like that, and after feeling as though he had been tossed and turned around in a washing machine, the tornado calmed down, then spit him out.
Rael’s vision was still distorted, but with every passing moment his regeneration came back fiercer and much more efficient. In just a few moments, he was as good as new.
Except now, as he lay on the ground, he spotted a giant dark tower that was as tall as the eye could see. Around the tower, there was a pitch white nothingness, and once he stood up and tried to go into the nothingness, he felt his body being passively pulled toward the tower ahead.
“This is so trippy…” Rael muttered, then immediately tried to access his friends list, however…

“Ugh… It looks so weird,” Rael complained. “It’s like all my stats have been wiped, though as the system said, I’m not feeling any weaker. If anything, with the simplification, my mana’s actually infinite now.”
By that logic, Rael felt even stronger than before.
But he was a little bit confused by how everything worked. He was level 1, and since the experience needed for level 2 was only 100 EXP, that meant he wasn’t even Grade 1 at the moment.
Were there even grades to begin with?
Either way, Rael felt like whatever this was, it was actually beneficial for him, since if this was another way to get stronger, then he would definitely strive.
After all… Rael still had this up his sleeve.

Instead of replying, Nyx suddenly reappeared beside him. To his surprise, her hair was a little longer than before, and not only that, the mana surrounding her was that much more powerful as well.

“It’s weird… Also, call me crazy, but where exactly is Renoir?”
Rael glanced around, and clearly Renoir was nowhere in sight.

“Definitely,” Nyx said with a nod.
Rael was actually starting to believe it when all of a sudden, in the same place where Rael had appeared, a thin dark figure had also started to manifest. In just a few seconds, that figure took the form of Renoir, and before long…
“Ugh… Shit. Why did I have to go through…”
Renoir glanced over at Rael and Nyx.
“At least you two are alright. That’s one big ass tower too. Reminds me of those mangas I used to read about sexy elf chicks climbing the towers. Good old days. I wonder if the author finished that book…?”
