Chapter 2104 - 2113: Want to Buy It for Him
Chapter 2104: Chapter 2113: Want to Buy It for Him
"I know. You are getting married, to me. How does that conflict with buying a watch?" Enna Clark blinked her bright eyes and retorted.
Baron Lawrence pressed his thin lips tightly together, really wanting to strangle her. He frowned and said grumpily, "Didn’t you invite your friends to the wedding?"
"You mean Sister Tiffany and them? Yeah, I did."
His gaze was so deep it seemed like it could pull her in, "Don’t you want them to see the best side of me?!"
Generally, women at such times wish their boyfriends would be flawless from head to toe so they can show off in front of friends, make them envious, and compliment her for finding the perfect husband.
Why does she seem completely clueless about this? Today she went to pick up her friend from the airport without inviting him and even let him wear an old watch at the wedding!
Sure, many of those watches have never been used.
But, once bought, they are considered old.
He wants everything for their wedding to be the best; how could he wear an old watch?!
Baron’s eyes flashed with a dark light; he pressed his thin lips and domineeringly said, "It’s decided. We’ll go buy a watch later. As for the rest..."
"You can wear the black shirt I gave you before."
Just a moment ago, he was gnashing his teeth saying he’s getting married so he shouldn’t use old things. But then, he double standards again, accepting the black shirt she gave him.
Enna’s temples throbbed twice, completely puzzled by his standards for ’old’ things.
In his cloakroom drawer, many of those watches have never been used, but he finds them old. Yet that black shirt, he’s worn it more than once, and since she gave it to him, he wears it often. He’s mostly seen in that black shirt, with other clothes just for alternating washes or if the occasion doesn’t fit the black shirt.
Despite wearing it countless times, he doesn’t find it old.
After being speechless, Enna’s heart felt warm. She curled her lips upwards, pondered for a moment, and compromised, "Okay, I’ll go with you later. But as for the shirt with the suit, white is better. I’ve never seen anyone wear a black shirt with a black suit at a wedding; it looks odd."
Before Baron Lawrence could speak, she interrupted, "I’ll buy it for you."
"You already gave me the wedding dress Bobby and Gigi painted. I want to buy your suit."
Previously, Baron had Bobby and Gigi help make a graffiti wedding dress for her. She forgot where she stored it, but he found it and gave it back to her, properly packed.
Now she has two wedding dresses.
Enna plans to wear one at the ceremony and switch for the toast.
She actually prefers to wear the graffiti dress made by Gigi and them for the vows, but the other dress carries her grandma’s wishes and her lifelong regrets. She doesn’t want to let her grandma down, so she’ll wear the dress with her mom’s regrets for the wedding.
Baron gave her a deep look, as if he wanted to swallow her whole, his throat rolling, surprisingly not arguing with her.
