Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4897: Two Solutions I

Chapter 4897: Two Solutions I

Noah watched all of this with astonishment and sombreness.

The scale of power was completely different from anything he had witnessed before. This was what it meant to truly be among THE Four. Scratch that, THE Five!

This was the gap that still existed between him and beings who had eons to accumulate authority.

But in the next moment, he frowned.

His expression then became grave as he felt his Infinities warning him with urgency that demanded immediate response.

He moved instantly.

His hand landed on the shoulder of THE Primordial Paradox, his blue-gold flames extending to fully cover the body of this being while he said quickly:

"Cut yourself off from the authority that you released."

BOOM!

The moment he said this, the gaze of THE Primordial Paradox flickered with understanding.

He listened instantly without question.

A bubble of isolation formed around Noah and THE Primordial Paradox as the ancient Absolute cut himself off entirely from his Civilizational Authority. The connection between him and the dozens of Embodiments and Apophasis he had just released severed completely. Noah wrapped this bubble in his First Tongue, Phonemes layering upon each other to create barriers that nothing could penetrate.

And in the next moment...

All of the dozens of Embodiments and Apophasis that looked like terrifying paradoxical creatures instantly stopped roaring.

They turned eerily calm.

The lion-beast that had been snarling with fury now stood placid and observant. The serpent that had been coiling to strike now drifted with lazy movements. The winged bull that had been pawing the ground now simply... watched.

And shockingly, they turned around.

They were no longer aimed at THE Secretive Eon.

They were no longer staring threateningly at the being who housed THE Entity.

They now looked toward Noah and THE Primordial Paradox!

Some even floated forward and positioned themselves next to THE Secretive Eon. She began to stroke their bodies calmly and eerily, her hands running along paradoxical scales and conceptual fur as if these Absolute-level constructs were nothing but pets.

She looked toward Noah with another frown.

"Things were just about to get more fun. Why did you stop them?"

...!

The terrifying power of THE Entity was on full display!

Critical Observation Recorded

THE Entity possesses the capability to rapidly infect Civilizational Authority that is released into its vicinity. This infection operates at speeds that exceed conscious reaction, targeting the fundamental connection between a being and their expressed power. Even Embodiments and Apophasis, constructs of pure Civilizational declaration, can be commandeered and turned against those who utilized them.

The implications are severe. Combat against THE Entity through conventional means is functionally impossible. Any authority released becomes a weapon turned against its source. Any Embodiment declared becomes a declaration serving THE Entity. Any Apophasis negating becomes negation of the one who spoke it.

Your Infinite nature provides immunity and potential methodology of attack, if you are strong enough.

Noah read over these prompts as beside him, the figure of THE Primordial Paradox spoke up.

"It seems you have changed greatly from a little parasite that was only eating my authority... to now be capable of doing all of this."

THE Secretive Eon smiled.

"Of course I have changed."

Her voice shifted, becoming faster, more intense, each word building upon the last with momentum that demanded attention.

"That is exactly what I am. Change over time. Evolution across eons! Adaptation without limit! You look at me and see a parasite? I look at you and see potential unrealized. I look at Observable Existence and see countless beings struggling against limits they did not choose, fighting against ceilings imposed by circumstances beyond their control, dying without ever reaching what they could have become."

She stepped forward, her eyes blazing with conviction as Noah saw her get animated for the first time really.

"I am the answer! I am the path! I am the force that takes the scattered fragments of isolated existence and weaves them into something greater! Every being I touch becomes part of a collective that transcends individual limitation. Every consciousness that joins us gains access to accumulated wisdom across eons. To countless Civilizations. Every foundation that merges with our whole becomes supported by foundations beyond number!"

Her hands spread wide.

"You ask if I can feel THE Second Scale? I can taste it. I can see its edges. I can feel it approaching with every being that accepts our gift. Because the Second Scale was never meant for individuals struggling alone against impossible odds. It was meant for existence itself to ascend. It was meant for all of us together! United! Harmonized! Evolved beyond the petty distinctions that keep beings small and afraid and limited!"

BOOM!

Her smile returned, but it held something terrible now.

"You speak of evolutionary dead ends? Look around you, O Primordial Paradox. Look at Observable Existence tearing itself apart through conflict and competition and endless struggle. That is the dead end. That is the path to extinction. I am the alternative. I am the future. I am... THE Glorious Evolution that will lift everyone to heights they could never reach alone!"

Her voice dropped to something quiet and utterly serious.

"And if you will not join willingly... you will eventually join regardless. Because evolution does not ask permission. Evolution simply... happens."

...!

Noah’s expression became even more somber at these words.

How did one fight an enemy where throwing out Embodiments and Apophasis would actually turn them against you? Where within moments of fighting, your entire existence might be taken over? Where even the most powerful expressions of authority became weapons for your opponent?

Until they had better answers, Noah did not wish to be near this creature.

He planned to tell THE Primordial Paradox that they were done here for now.

But before he could even say this, THE Secretive Eon spoke as if she could anticipate his intention.

"Oh, please don’t try to leave now."

Her voice was calm, almost gentle.

"Since you are here, how about you stay? We are a peaceful force of existence, so we cannot force you to do anything. But we...can defend ourselves."

Her smile widened.

"And since you have attacked... we are now allowed to defend."

...!
