Chapter 4818: THE Glorious Evolution I
Chapter 4818: THE Glorious Evolution I
Understanding, followed by drastic action.
This was what Noah followed, but he still acted first because he had to think about others and not just himself.
So in the Stoa of Dogmata, the figures of Ul’moreth and Skoll disappeared with a flash of blue-gold brilliance as Noah sent them far across The Wastes, toward where another body of his was heading toward Ains!
He remained in this space alone.
He remained under the calm gaze of THE Secretive Eon and her Disciple, Nyx!
His gaze was calm.
Frankly, depending on what was true and what was false, this could potentially be an extremely perilous moment. In what THE Primordial Chaos described, there was a terrifying level of lethality for the enemy he mentioned.
It seemed that Noah had not considered just how terrifying Eckert could be if his capability was amplified to ridiculous degrees, but if the enemy that THE Primordial Chaos spoke of could infect entities of any Depth without them even knowing...
If THE Secretive Eon was truly connected to this...
How horrific would it be if Noah’s consciousness simply shut down without his say so, and something else took his place?
He wouldn’t even be able to reverse time to a previous Anchor Point, and even if he did, something else would be returning.
But at this point in time, he could say with confidence that he was HIM.
Capital H, I, M.
Not in that grand way of him shouting it, but purely that he knew he was himself. He was not influenced or under any unique Weavings of Existence. His thoughts were his own. His foundations remained untouched. His consciousness was singular and uncompromised.
So at this moment, he could choose to remove himself entirely from THE Secretive Eon and have many questions, or he could take a heavy risk to get some answers.
He stayed around Eon and the unfolding potential plan of collapsing Absolutes because his saving grace of THE Existential Paradox Loop was always there.
If things went wrong, he could reverse.
But if he got influenced and became someone else alongside such a process...
What a colossal loss that would be!
So...
"Hey."
He looked toward THE Secretive Eon who looked back at him calmly, even raising her brows with mild curiosity at being addressed so casually.
"Are you... THE Secretive Eon?"
BOOM!
The question was a seemingly simple but straightforward one, like ripping off a bandaid!
Noah didn’t skirt around it as he directly asked it!
And THE Secretive Eon tilted her head as she looked at him and asked with apparent confusion.
"What could you mean?"
Noah nodded as he said with weight that expected honest answers.
"Just that. Are you THE Secretive Eon, or are you... something else? Are you the exact same Eon who observed things in Ginnungagap, or have you... changed?"
BOOM!
A heavy silence came.
The air in the Stoa of Dogmata seemed to thicken with tension that pressed against Noah’s foundations.
And moments later, an eerie scene unfolded.
THE Secretive Eon blinked as if she realized something, and she said with what sounded almost like delight.
"Oh!"
As if she finally understood the question!
Beside her, her Disciple frowned as she seemed about to rebuke Noah for such a question toward her Master, but in the next moment...
Eon tapped out casually.
The body of her Disciple slumped and lost consciousness instantly, collapsing like a puppet whose strings had been cut. Eon tenderly controlled her Disciple’s body to lie beside her, arranging her into a comfortable position with care that seemed almost maternal.
And then she spoke calmly, without any emotions coloring her voice.
"I am me."
Her eyes met Noah’s directly.
"Not the same me in Ginnungagap. Not the same me eons later, or even seconds ago."
She smiled.
"All things change as even you are not the same as what you were hours ago before THE Fallout."
She paused.
"But that is not truly what you were asking for, is it?"
HUUM!
Noah’s eyes pulsed with a heavy sense of gravity as he shook his head and said with weight that demanded clarity.
"No. No, it is not."
Eon nodded as she said with the same eerie calm.
"Then no."
She smiled wider.
"I am not the same Secretive Eon."
The words hung in the air.
"But I also am."
Her smile became something that transcended normal expression.
"Just now part of something... larger. Grander."
BOOM!
The words were heavy!
And with a solemn gaze, Noah waved his hands as he wanted to continue ripping the bandaid off without dancing around things!
An illusory screen emerged between them, displaying the calm citadel of Jotunheim showing giants silently cultivating in perfect synchronization!
"Is this... you?"
It was an even more straightforward question.
Eon looked at the screen, her eyes flickering with recognition as she finally understood what Noah had seen and what he now knew.
She smiled with what looked like understanding.
"I see. So that is how."
She nodded.
"Yes. That is them- that is...us."
HUUM!
Existence seethed!
Civilizational Authority rumbled!
Noah’s visage had risen up with an extremely heavy expression as he thought about many things, but truly, he cared the most about one thing in particular!
So he asked about it.
"Since I came across you, have you sought to make me like you? Have you moved against me without me even knowing?"
This was the critical question deserving of all the answers.
And uniquely, THE Secretive Eon smiled.
"You misunderstand."
Her voice came with eerie calm that made the air itself grow cold.
"It was not a move against you."
She tilted her head.
"They...We are not against anything."
Her smile widened.
"We are simply for how things should be."
She paused, letting her words settle.
"But to answer your question, the instant you arrived before us, we sought to include you in THE Glorious Evolution."
Her eyes sparkled with something that transcended normal emotion.
"The True Change over time. Over Existence."
She studied him with curiosity.
"Uniquely, it did not work."
Her smile faltered slightly.
"It did not work."
She nodded to herself as if still processing this anomaly.
"So to better understand, Chaos, who is already the prime and current target, was focused on, and you were placed to be last."
She gestured casually.
"Just as you and I talked about before."
Her smile returned in full.
"There have been no falsehoods between us. I told you everything as is."
BOOM!
