Meanwhile, the former elf king, Lord Vega had returned to the ancient forest to bring back a badly wounded king of dwarfs and Elf Vera. His return had caused a commotion to the forest. He brought the two directly to the shamans of the tribe and had them be treated.
The healers of the tribe were frowning when they saw the state of Dwarf King Garan and Elf Vera.
"How cruel! Most of their bones are crushed!"
"Who is so ruthless to do this to them?"
"I’m sorry. I do not know. They were already in this state when I found them. Whoever these two were fighting before was definitely powerful," Lord Vega said. "Can you treat them the best you can? I wanted to speak with this elf."
Lord Vega gestured towards Elf Vera who is also covered in blood and said, "I will help you with regeneration of their bones."
"Then Lord Guardian, please assist us with healing!" The healers of the beastmen tribe said.
The state of Elf Vera and Dwarf King Garan is so bad that all healers and even shamans made a move to bring them back from the brink of death. They lasted healing them for three straight days that even some healers had fainted in the process. Only on the evening of the third day, did the two successfully come out from the brink of their deaths and are now slowly healing from the rest of their injuries.
"The two of them had survived! We did it!"
The healers and shamans had cheered after they finally saved the lives of the two individuals that seemed to have special positions. It is not hard to recognize who the Dwarf King is, but just the fact that the Guardian, Lord Vega, informed that the other elf was his close subordinate and friend that everyone had done their best.
Lord Vega said, "Everyone, thank you for saving my friend."
"Please raise your head, Lord Guardian. You have been protecting us all this time. Saving your friend is something we must do."
"However, it is unknown when they will wake up."
"The lord guardian should go home and rest for now. Lord Prophet and Princess Haerin had been worried about you."
The healers and elder shamans persuade the former elf king to take a rest at home. He had been helping the healers for three days and barely had time to stay at his own home leaving the Lord Prophet worried about him.
Lord Vega said, "Thank you once again everyone. Please excuse me for a while. If this guy wakes up please send someone to inform me right away."
"We will, Lord Guardian," the beastmen in the hospital said.
Lord Vega heads home after making sure that his subordinate, Vera, had survived his ordeal. He also wanted to ask him what happened to their opponent and why they ended up in such a state. However, that will have to wait until he wakes up from his injuries. He went home to see his mate and daughter.

Inner region, Barren Lands.
As the Evil Beast God questioned the reason for the Cosmic Laws’ descent, a message from the human city was sent to him by a beast king. This beast king was the one left to watch over the people who had betrayed their own races and fall under his control. Among them is the new human marshal, Gu Ying. Lord Ouroboros was reading the letter and the contents of it made him frown. Pei Jin had come out of the laboratory as he finally found another breakthrough to mutate the Beast Race.
Pei Jin was about to share this discovery from his contracted one when he saw him in his human form reading some kind of letter.
"A report letter? Who is it from?" Pei Jin asked.
Lord Ouroboros turned to look at him and passed the letter for him to read. He responded to his question.
"From the Alliance City. It seems the plan to ruin the alliance of the four races and the city was successful. The Dwarf race is almost extinct and the Elven race was at its last leg with their king becoming crazy. The human race had fallen under the control of our people. It’s just that it’s hard to make a move on the Beastmen Race."
"Hm? That crack we have seen from before and the finger that appeared in the city were connected?" Pei Jin asked.
The Evil Beast God, Ouroboros said, "That was most likely the Guardian of this Cosmos making a move. A fool under me uses the power of another cosmos, attracting the Cosmic Laws and giving the guardian a reason to make a move. I had warned them multiple times not to openly use the cosmos energy I gave them!"
"Don’t worry. Humans are the type to become arrogant because of a sudden increase of strength. It is nothing new," said Pei Jin as he burned the letter watching it turn into ashes and get blown away by the wind breeze of the cold night.
He added, "I had a new discovery. Do you remember the low leveled elementals we had captured on the way here? I finally made them sign a contract with the beast race. This will allow a beast to use an element whom they made a contract with. However, like the mutated beasts, once its power is overused, they die."
"Aren’t your servants annoyed that they couldn’t destroy those towering walls the humans made at the borders? With this new mutation they should be able to break it down this time," Pei Jin said.
Such good news, the Evil Beast God is delighted. He immediately informed the whole beast race. After this last experimentation, he himself plans to make a move. This time he wanted to make a move with the ones at the city and allow them to make a move on the Beastmen race.
Lord Ouroboros said, "Such good news! Everyone should be informed!"
"All Beast Emperors, and Beast Kings, come forth. This God summons you!"
The voice of the Evil Beast God echoes in the whole barren land. Though this voice didn’t reach the core region, every beast in the inner region had heard his summoning. In just a few hours, all beasts at the realm of the king and emperor had gathered before the Evil Beast God, their ruler.
"Listen, my servants! There is another discovery to increase your strength that has been found by this God’s partner. This mutation allows you to wield the strength of an elemental and use them as your strength like how the other races do!"
"If there is some element you wish to form a contract with, I can open a summoned gate for you. As for whether you can force the elemental to sign a contract with you will depend on your own strength!" Pei Jin said.
"With my medicine, you will be able to control an elemental and make sure they sign a life and death contract with you. You must make them swear an oath not to break their contract with you as well. Once these two things are done you will be able to wield their power and like the other race greatly increase your strength as well."
The cheers of the beasts in the area rang after Lord Ouroboros had translated the words of Pei Jin to the Beast race. Just the fact that they can increase their strength through contract was enough for them to fight against the summoners and tamers from the other races. They will no longer be considered a race that only focuses on strength. The only downside of this force summoning and contract is that the beast race couldn’t sign with an elemental higher than King-grade and even signing a contract with a king-grade elemental will be considered hard. Even so, it would greatly increase the strength of the beast race.
The beast race who is well known for their strength and physical prowess would become even stronger after signing a contract with the elementals. Though it would be considered a force contract the possibility of it being successful is not high as well. That’s why Pei Jin created a potion that will be able to hypnotize an elemental allowing them to become servile towards him and the beast race.
Because of this discovery, the barren lands were unexpectedly quiet for a few weeks. Those at the borders were bewildered and even started thinking that maybe the beast wave had already stopped. When the beast race stopped attacking the borders for a month people at the borders started to believe that the war was now over and went to their commander asking for permission to return to the city. What they didn’t know was that the alliance city is no more and two of the four races, one is almost extinct and the other had long left the city.
The new discovery of Pei Jin had also reached the ears of the new marshal, Gu Ying. As if greatly interested about this topic, he immediately requested the process on how to do it. He plans to use this to make the humans fall willingly under his control. Once he enhanced their capabilities then fighting against the beastmen race will not be hard as everyone thought.
