Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy

Chapter 3724: First Few

Chapter 3724: First Few

Outside of the Red Heaven Realm, several members of the Sky God’s palace, who were in charge of handling matters inside the secret realm, sat in a large room, keeping constant watch over everything. There were other members of several clans, sects, and families that had come to help, but they would never get a direct chance to manage the Red Heaven Realm like they did.

"Someone has asked for a judgment of fairness in the 12th region," a man called out, and someone immediately stood up and left.

"We need a replacement for the judge in Region 13 for the 4th Yellow Trial," another person spoke and sent out a notice to people waiting outside the place.

Riftblade sat in the back of the massive room, overlooking everything, waiting to see if he was needed or not.

"Senior!" someone called out, looking toward him. "You are needed."

Riftblade stepped off his seat and flew down to where he was called. "What is it?" he asked.

The man presented him with the medallion that carried the information he had just received. Riftblade looked through it and gave a faint smile.

"Yes, that is Young Brightness," the man said. "Where is she?"

"Region 31. Dao Comprehension Trial," the man explained.

"Ah! She’s reached there, huh?" Riftblade said. "Keep an eye on her. She might be separated here, so she will need help."

"Yes, Senior."

Despite Alex’s presence inside the Red Heaven Realm itself, the people of the Sky God’s Palace weren’t going to leave him alone with the task of protecting her. They were all in charge of keeping an eye on her.

Riftblade was about to return to his seat when he heard a gasp from the man just before him. He turned around. "What is it?"

"Someone broke the record," the man said. "There’s someone with 21 different Daos in there."

"21?" Riftblade himself was surprised by that information. "Who is that?"

"It’s one of the two women with Young Brightness," the man answered. "You may recognize her."

Riftblade took a moment to figure out that it was Helen. "I see. 21, huh? I suppose that makes sense."

Considering Helen had the highest score in the Talent Testing Pillar back in the Sky God’s Realm, this was an understandable feat from her. However, understandable though it was, it was still quite surprising.

While he was about to return again, he remembered that it wasn’t Helen who still held the highest score. It was Alex.

And if Ronron and Helen were there, he was bound to be there as well.

Riftblade had heard a lot about Alex, some facts that were just far too surprising to believe. And yet, he had seen the young man do things that should have been impossible for any other individual. In fact, he had been there during the Alchemy Tournament finale when the young man had learned an Axiom out of nowhere.

An Axiom.

Even Riftblade hadn’t been able to learn one, and he was already in the Divine Domain Realm.

"If his mother has 21 Daos, how many Daos does he have?" Riftblade wondered.

Riftblade settled himself right there and waited as Fang Xianhai went through 20 Daos in total. that was quite surprising as well, but Riftblade had already learned that from before when he had received the record.

Then, Alex walked up to the platform, and Riftblade paid attention.

* * * * * *

The world around Alex went silent the moment he entered the platform. As he stood atop it, it was just him and the artifact before him, which gave off a subtle whirring noise.

It was active.

"Alright," Alex thought as he took a deep breath. "Where should I start?"

There were so many.

"Let’s start simple," he thought. "Let’s start with the elements. Fire."

An aura of the Dao of Fire emerged around Alex, now much closer to the Dao of Sun Fire than when he had first started. Still, it was the Dao of Fire, so the artifact accepted it.

He didn’t hear a pinging sound, but he felt the slightest vibration in the air, as though the artifact had accepted it and was asking him to move on to the next one.

Alex changed the aura, moving on to the next one.

Dao of Burning.

The subtle vibration came again almost immediately, waiting for Alex to change to a new aura.

Alex did.

Dao of Melting.

It was accepted.

Dao of Fire Destruction.

Accepted.

Dao of Boiling.

Accepted.

Dao of Explosion.

Dao of Heat.

Dao of Heat Conduction.

All accepted.

With that, he was done with all 8 of the Fire Daos.

Alex thought of using the True Fire Dao right then and there, just to be done with it, but he decided to keep those for later. They generated quite the reaction, so he was happy to give them that opportunity.

Alex moved on to the Wood Daos next. Of Wood, he had 2 Daos in total.

Dao of Wood.

Dao of Lightning Conduction.

Both were accepted.

"Good!" he thought.

He was slightly worried, since the Dao of Lightning Conduction was something he had learned moments before it had combined with the Dao of Heat Conduction to become Metal’s Dao of Conduction, but it appeared it was accepted separately as well.

Heaven might not consider him as having that Dao separately, but this artifact surely did.

Alex moved on to the Earth Daos next. Of Earth, he knew only 2 Daos as well.

They were the Dao of Earth and the Dao of Gravity.

Both were accepted.

Then, he moved on to the Water Daos.

Of the several Water Daos, he had 2 in total. One was the Dao of Water, and the other was the Dao of Ice.

In just those few tries, he had already shown that he had 14 Daos. He could only imagine what the others outside were thinking, but it hardly mattered to him at all.

Since he had started with the five elements, he decided to complete all the way through before moving on to the next ones.

So, next, he started using his Metal Daos.
