Death… And Me

Chapter 4238: Details and More Details

Chapter 4238: Details and More Details

As the Airplane took flight, Werkitt told them. "Better than explaining, you should look through the window. Keep watching the outside for the next few hours, and you will understand."

Everyone, curious, did as Werkitt said and looked through the windows of the Airplane. At first, no one noticed anything out of the norm. They were flying over a city, with many buildings and such below, and obviously, countless residents from various different races.

The first thing to catch everyone’s attention was actually the races, though. It was truly very mixed. All they had to do was fill their eyes with Celestial Energy to have a better look. Devils, Angels, Demon beasts, Humans, Spirits, Essences, you name it.

Of course, races that were too big kept themselves in their humanoid forms to occupy less space. Devil Beasts, Angel Beasts, and Demon Beasts were those who used those forms the most. There were places where those beasts could stay in their real form, especially towards the cities’ outskirts, but even in those places, you could still see many other beings from other races not related to beasts.

Rean looked at Werkitt at the front of the plane, asking. "Is there no separation between races? Or could it be this area is an exception?"

"It is no exception," Werkitt said. "All the cities in our Besgol Region are like this. The various races live together. This is one of the details I wanted you to see. Of course, you can find some gatherings of specific races, that is very normal. But ultimately, experts of all races live mixed most of the time. The same is true for the vast majority of the pocket regions that we know about here in the Celestial Plane."

"That you know about?" Celis noticed that detail.

Werkitt shrugged. "No one in Besgol knows how big the Celestial Plane really is. The only thing that is certain is that it is bigger than millions of great voids combined at the very least. There is only so much you can learn when the scale becomes this ridiculous. Since communication between pocket regions is expensive and hard, we only know so much about the area we find ourselves in."

Werkitt lay against the window of the plane, looking outside. "You should keep watching. That was just one detail, and it wasn’t the most important one."

Everyone focused on the windows again. Sure enough, more details kept appearing. The next one was that transportation was now mostly made through vehicles, and terrestrial ones. Roads leading everywhere with tens of lanes on each side, all quite crowded.

Rean couldn’t help but think about Earth once again. That was a very ’mortal’ like type of transportation, even if the vehicles obviously operated with the surrounding Celestial Energy as fuel.

Soon, they noticed other details. There were no flying experts at all. There were quite a lot of planes, but not a single cultivator could be seen flying under their own power.

Everyone there had noticed when they arrived that they couldn’t fly either, but they simply thought it was because they were at the lowest cultivation level of the Celestial Plane. Soon, one of the passengers asked. "Friend Werkitt, could you tell us more about the cultivation realms? There doesn’t seem to be anyone flying on their own power outside. Is it a cultivation limitation?"

Werkitt faintly smiled. "And you noticed another important detail. Yes, it is a cultivation limitation. To be able to fly, you must reach a certain cultivation realm first. Since it is obvious that many of you are completely new and know nothing about the Celestial Plane, let me tell you a little bit about the cultivation realms... Well, the ones I know about, that is."

Werkitt first mentioned the Anchor God Realm, which was the very first realm after the Celestial Realm that the twins’ group found themselves in. According to Werkitt, the Anchor God Realm had a similar purpose to the Buffer Zones. It would align you with the Celestial Plane’s energies.

At the moment, all ascenders find it really difficult to circulate their Celestial Energy. Once you reach the Peak Stage of the Anchor God Realm, those restrictions will finally be lifted. Of course, that doesn’t mean the ascenders will become galaxy-destroying entities like they were before in their Home Great Voids, nowhere near that.

In fact, that wouldn’t be enough to even fly. Werkitt even used the same example that the twins heard back in the Buffer Zone. While they would be hard-pressed to even break a boulder in the Celestial Cultivation Level, at the Peak Stage of the Anchor God Realm, they might be able to destroy four or five of those.

The ascenders couldn’t understand. How could they get so weak like this? Was it because their cultivation energies were being blocked somehow?

Werkitt understood their thoughts, as that was the same thought all new ascenders had at this point. "I told you. Once you get to the Peak Stage of the Anchor God Realm, you will have no restrictions anymore. You can use all the Celestial Energy you could back in your Home Great Voids."

Flutio raised his hand. "Are you sure? You just said that we will be capable of destroying four or five boulders? How is it the same as before?"

Everyone had the same thought as well, and Werkitt patiently explained. "That’s because you will need that same amount of energy. That’s all. Yes, the energy to simply break a single boulder here in the Celestial Plane is enough to destroy entire planets in your Home Great Voids. It’s that simple."

Everyone breathed coldly. They all know very well how much energy they were talking about. They were all Peak Celestial Realm Experts from Great Voids. "Those are some damn strong boulders..."

"Hahaha!" Werkitt laughed in response. "They sure are. I’m an ascender myself, so I know how you feel. Believe it or not, I’m only an Anchor God Late Stage Expert. Anyway, let’s talk about the level after the Anchor God Realm."
