Galita then created various images in the room for them to see what she was seeing. "The logs of access of those with authority similar to us can’t be wiped out, and that includes you, Senior Soza. Soza agreed with her. "I know that already. So, what am I looking at?"

Galita approximated the logs of access related to the Werdlem Energy Signatures, or IDs. "As you can see, the last access to this part of the system was made over a million years ago, and it had nothing to do with the creation or deletion of IDs. In fact, I can’t find any logs related to what Senior Caladara just told us about the creation of new IDs outside of the automatic process from the previous billions of years. There is nothing at all."

"Are you saying I’m lying?" Caladara shot a killing stare at Galita, who wasn’t even a Celestial yet. Caladara’s Celestial Energy assaulted Galita, making the woman feel like she was about to be smashed.

Yet, Soza waved his hand, and Caladara’s energy was swept away. "Calm down, Caladara. What’s the point of lying about this?"

Galita sighed in relief. "Senior Soza is right, Senior Caladara. There is nothing to be gained from lying about this. I’m not saying you are lying at all. What I’m saying is that no access was made with the necessary authority that culminated in the creation of Fake IDs."

Caladara nodded. "You’d better mean that." She turned back to Soza. "But then, doesn’t that mean they have some other way of creating a fake ID? Something that doesn’t require access to the Werdlem System?"

Soza pondered a bit. The Werdlem Empire has existed for such a long time, and they have never heard about something like that. "It is truly hard to believe, but who is to say it is impossible? We receive outsider visitors from time to time, and they are always annoying to deal with. Perhaps, after so many invasions, they finally came up with a way of breaching the security of our System."

Soza wasn’t completely wrong. It’s just that the security wasn’t being breached. Instead, the Celestial Soul System created IDs that matched perfectly with the IDs from normal Werdlem Stones. It could also easily copy existing ones. It had no need to modify or alter the Werdlem System at all. Of course, that is also a flaw in the system’s security. It’s just that no one thought such a thing was possible until now.

Soza then made his decision. "Galita, get your people and start working on it. I want to find a surefire way to prevent these fake IDs from being created. Start with the IDs that we know they used: Rean, Roan, Celis, and Kentucky from the A1 Universe. It says they were born there and received their Werdlem IDs there. Check it closely and see why these IDs are being accepted by the system. Check the ID number of their Werdlem Stones as well. There must be something."

Galita quickly accepted the order. "Yes, Senior Soza. I’ll put my people working on it straightaway."

"I almost forgot about Caladara..." Rean commented. "By now, she should have noticed we removed her mark and reported to the Werdlem Empire as a result. But how do you know if they are looking closely at the IDs around?"

Roan explained. "Because of the security in the Space Station, when we arrived. The checks were very thorough, way more than what you would expect if they still believed their Werdlem Empire ID system was flawless. You even had to redirect some of Erwora’s Blood outside to pretend it was your blood so you wouldn’t be caught by the DNA check. Would you check someone’s DNA if you still thought the Werdlem Empire ID System was impenetrable?"

Rean and the others shook their heads. That indeed didn’t make sense.

Roan continued. "That means Caladara already reported that the IDs we used back in A1 were all fake. They just don’t know how we faked them."

[We should still be safe on that side,] Sister Orb commented. [Our system aligned itself with the Werdlem ID System. It doesn’t modify anything in the Werdlem Empire’s System at all. Strictly speaking, the IDs we create or copy are 100% genuine in the Werdlem System’s eyes. Then, Roan looked once more at the images Soltrex was showing of the Reincarnation Path. "However, since they most likely already know about our capability of creating or faking IDs, I find it very hard to believe they don’t have some countermeasure in place in the Reincarnation Path."

Rean thought about it. If you went deep into that topic, you would find countless methods of ensuring someone’s identity. Blood, eyes, speech, memories, passwords, gestures, divine sense, soul power, aura, etc. All of those were unique.

Rean’s Body Transformation Skill could make him look like a real Demon Beast, but he wouldn’t be able to copy a specific Demon Beast’s Aura. For example, he couldn’t make an aura identical to Kentucky’s. All others would be able to tell was that Rean was definitely a demon beast, a Minokawa in this case, but it was another thing entirely to try to make them think he was Kentucky. Of course, he could get very, very close to copying Kentucky’s specific aura to the point that noticing the difference was almost impossible.

"So you say we shouldn’t try to pretend to be someone else?" Rean asked.

"All I’m saying is that we better be ready for anything," Roan answered. "Let’s think about it."
