Death… And Me

Chapter 4084: Match!

Chapter 4084: Match!

The twins’ group was covered by that energy, which was not Divine Sense. Immediately, the two avatars looked at them.

"Shit!" Kentucky stopped.

Rean also released his Light and Divine Sense Bending skill. It was obvious he couldn’t hide from those guys.

The avatars didn’t come after them, though. That’s because a second later, they looked in another direction and caught the presence of Gin’s group approaching.

Gin and his group were taken aback, also noticing the sudden appearance of those two avatars. But above all, they saw how Kentucky and the others appeared out of nowhere inside their Divine Sense ranges. Naturally, Gin found who he was looking for. ’Havira!’

His group stopped, and the three sides watched each other carefully. Then, Flogon’s avatar spoke. "Who are you? What are you doing here?"

Gin was the first one to answer. "I’m Gin Werdlem, a direct descendant of the Werdlem Imperial Family. Stand down!"

Flogon narrowed his eyes. "I’ll say it once: you shouldn’t be here. Leave!"

Then, his eyes turned in the direction of the twins’ group. "What about the rest of you?"

Before Rean and Roan could say anything, Hick jumped out of Kentucky’s back. "I’m the Terminarch, the Primordial Beast of Boundaries! I’ve come for my body!" He said while pointing at his body behind Flogon and Kroqui.

Roan’s mouth twitched. Was that the kind of thing you should tell them? Of course, after today, anyone would be able to tell that the Terminarch’s body was involved, but shouldn’t Hick have hidden the fact that it was his body? He could have said something like ’he came to steal the body’ and such. That would still have been a better choice.

Flogon and Kroqui were shocked by what they heard. His body? The Primordial Beast’s body is his?

Going back in time, no one knew for certain what happened to the Terminarch. The fact was that his body was found near the Werdlem Empire’s Bubble membrane, and that he simply didn’t move anymore.

Before bringing his body here and hiding it, the Werdlem Empire tried to understand the situation. Unfortunately, that was a Primordial Beast, and there was no method that could be used against it. The Terminarch’s body made it impossible to analyze anything inside, and they knew why, because it created a boundary that was impossible to penetrate.

At that time, the Werdlem Empire thought the Terminarch tried to escape the Bubble and failed. Primordial Beasts can’t die, so it was likely that the Terminarch had sealed itself with its innate ability. The idea that the Terminarch escaped the bubble with only his soul was mentioned, but few really believed such a thing was possible. Even if just a soul, that was still the Terminarch, and the bubble should have contained it inside.

Over the years, the body’s existence was pretty much forgotten, and only the rules remained. There would always be two Balance Breaker Celestials watching over the body, with a swap being made after a set amount of time by two new ones.

Other than that, the Universe Owner of C44 would guarantee the energy while no one would approach it, and by now, even though the Universe Owner’s Clan still had this duty, even they had no idea what was there. The actual owner himself was in that boat, and there were other owners before him who were also oblivious. It’s just that it was related to the Werdlem Empire, so no one dared to touch it.

The only ones aware of everything were always the two Balance Breaker Celestials overseeing the body, and a few high members of the Werdlem Imperial Family. No one else.

---

Hick didn’t wait for Flogon and Kroqui to recover. He immediately shot forward, his face still the same black void.

*Rumble!*

Behind Flogon and Kroqui, the Terminarch’s body began to move. It was still bound by the chains, but it didn’t mean it couldn’t try to struggle or use its abilities. Its enormous body caused ripples that created many cracks in space, such was its power.

As Hick did that, he warned the twins’ group. ’Go after the anchors. Since these chains’ power is being fueled by the Chaos Energy Source, the Anchors will likely be made of a material of our world, not from the Celestial Plane. Find a way to break them!’

Roan narrowed his eyes. ’What about you?’

’At this distance, I can get support from my own body. My Innate ability to control boundaries will be enough to hold against those two,’ Hick said. As he spoke, the black core inside his real body seemed to react. Then, around Hick’s humanoid body, something like a fluctuating barrier appeared.

Flogon and Kroqui weren’t certain about what to do, but they knew they’d better stop Hick from getting to the body. The fact that Hick caused the Terminarch’s body to move, something that had never happened before, was proof that he at least had some kind of connection to it.

Behind, the twins’ group looked at each other, and they changed direction. They went after one of the Spatial Breaches where a chain disappeared inside. If the anchor was somewhere, it had to be inside those breaches.

However, before they even moved, Gin’s group arrived! Salazar, Jary, and Suvana went after Kentucky and the others. As for Gin, he went straight for Havira. He completely ignored Flogon and Kroqui’s warning to leave this place. "I’ll take her! The rest of you hold them down!"

From Gin’s back, several black needles took form, and the environment began to change.

’Dark Puncture Domain!’

Havira was taken aback. Any idiot could tell she was the target. "Fuck!"

She didn’t hold back, reverting to her Golden Crow Spirit form. The projection of a Golden Sun appeared on her back, and she countered.

’Golden Domain!’

*Bzzzzz!*

The domains collided, but Havira’s Domain was quickly suppressed. Gin was using all the Celestial Energy he could, definitely a lot more than Semi-Celestials could, and with no side effects of forgetting laws. Naturally, he could also use his Celestial Laws. He just couldn’t tap into his Celestial Peak Stage cultivation, and would have to rely on his Peak Divinity Cultivation instead.

’Golden Nova!’

Seeing that her domain failed to even slow Gin down, Havira countered. Her Sunlight Energy accumulated, her body transformed into a Golden Sun itself, and it exploded!

*BOOM!*

Gin, who caught up to Havira in an instant, did not retreat. Those Dark Needles moved to the front, creating a circular formation that rotated as Dark Element flowed with Celestial Energy and Laws!

’Shadow Perforation!’

The enormous Golden Nova explosion failed to push back his Dark Needles, and Gin passed through the chaotic energy in an instant. Inside all that Golden Chaos, he saw Havira’s body, shooting straight for her core before she could react.

More Dark Needles appeared with the support of his Domain, shooting in different directions and surrounding Havira while she was still releasing her Sunlight Energy. Then, they shot in her direction, all of them aiming at her Spirit Core. Gin had no intention of killing her since he wanted the God Blood Vial. His attack would instead completely seal her powers and allow her capture. He did all of that while the Golden Nova was still going out; such was the difference in power between the two. "Got you!"

"I don’t think so." But then, ten Dark Red Elemental Intent Weapons appeared, moving around Havira’s Body and blocking all the Dark Needles that should have pierced her body! At the same Time, Gin’s Domain seemed to weaken by another Domain just as strong!

In front of Gin, a Dark-haired Man appeared like a ghost as two Elemental Intent Scythes came slashing down from opposite directions, Dark Red Lightning increasing their power to another level!

’Red Death, Death Cross!’

*Clang! Boom!*

The Golden Nova’s Energy burst spread everywhere, followed by arcs of Dark Red Lightning and Dark Needles, both carrying powers capable of easily killing Divinity Realm experts!

Then, inside, one could see Gin and Roan in a stalemate, Roan’s Elemental Intent Scythes being held by Gin’s Dark Needles, and vice versa. The two just now matched each other’s powers!
