"So, what is the breakdown for all of these?" Lin Xuan Qi asked after a few moments of embrace with Xue Cong and Yue Jie.
Yue Jie gave him a smile and said, "With the increase of the retail stores and production for the soap, it has gotten us two hundred taels of gold in total after splitting the income with Sima Long.
"The income for the rice also increased by three hundred taels of gold.
"The rest of the four hundred taels of gold came from the inn and mostly the franchise business.
"And with the four hundred over taels of gold we had earlier, we have a total of a thousand and three hundred over taels of gold now."
"That’s great. When the kelp is harvested, we should be able to get more income every month." Lin Xuan Qi nodded his head, feeling very satisfied.
He estimated that it would be around a thousand taels of gold every month with all his businesses running at maximum capacity.
It would afford him many options in dealing with the resources he would need for his cultivation and the others.
Things were going so well for him at the moment.
He even thought that he was having some of the good luck from his son. So, maybe losing a few rounds of poker wasn’t too bad after all.

She glanced out of the main hall and Xiu, who was standing outside, knew what to do.
Auntie Sue didn’t disappoint.
The dinner was a great and delicious one.

And Lin Xuan Qi remembered to pay the bonus that he had promised to Auntie Sue for her contribution towards the franchise business.
She was also trying to come up with other dishes that made use of the rice noodles, rice cakes, or rice paper rolls for it.
After the dinner, Lin Xuan Qi got back to the lab and he continued with his cultivation.
He wasn’t sure if it was the good mood that helped or not, but he finally felt his dantian expand, and his spirit sea becoming even more vast than it was.
The Five-Element Qi in the surroundings felt even more intense than before.
With his relentless nights of cultivation in his lab and dual cultivating with Xue Cong and the others afterwards for so long, he had finally ascended to the Foundation Establishment Perfected Stage.
He would have to start searching for his Natal Spiritual Artifact soon.
And if Lee He Song together with Zhi Yong kept up their pace of cultivation, he would have to think about the Natal Spiritual Artifacts for them too when they got to the same stage as he was.

He came back disappointed, but he figured that he might be able to find something good if he searched throughout the Da Qian Dynasty.
After his experience in Spirit Valley, the ability to get Artifacts and cultivation resources was enticing to him.
When he got back to Hong Feng City from Bian Jing City, there were two surprises waiting for him.
First, the kelp had grown well and could be harvested within weeks.
That would allow his Lin Clan Taste Transcendent business to get started once more.
And this time with the whole of Bai Sha village farming the kelp, there would be enough supply to last him the whole year.
The next surprise was an even bigger one, as it was something that he had personally been waiting for after such a long time.
He knew what it was when he saw the smiling face of Sima Long waiting for him in the main hall.
"Brother Xuan Qi, how have you been doing?" Sima Long said with a smile when he saw him.
Sima Long still had dark rings around his eyes and had even lost some weight. But other than the physical signs of fatigue, he was beaming with happiness at the same time.
"I was busy in Bian Jing with my business." Lin Xuan Qi replied and gestured for Sima Long to take a seat.
Sima Long did so and let out a long sigh.
It had been such a long time since he had visited his buddy.
Time went by so fast and he could see how successful Lin Xuan Qi was now.
He had businesses making profits, a wife and three concubines.
But Sima Long wasn’t envious of it.
He was more than happy for Lin Xuan Qi to be so successful.
After all, the shares in the soap and Lin Clan Taste Transcendent Essence business, together with the franchise he was running, were all helping him out in the Sima Family.
Sima Long took a sip of the tea and told Lin Xuan Qi the purpose of his visit.
"Anyway, while you were away in Bian Jing, my wife gave birth to a cute baby girl named Sima Dai Yu." He said it nonchalantly as if it was nothing important.
"Really?!" Lin Xuan Qi on the other hand, was ecstatic and happy to hear that.
