Chapter 2891 - 587: Nine Rings Perfect, Chaos Holy Body, Secrets of the Universe!
Chapter 2891: Chapter 587: Nine Rings Perfect, Chaos Holy Body, Secrets of the Universe!
Spirit, or perhaps will.
They have no specific shape, looking strange, like paramecia under a microscope or certain microorganisms, drifting with the flow.
They are slowly being nurtured, in their thousands, but the vast majority lack any presence, many silencing into oblivion during their transformation.
No one knows what happened.
Levi recalled the pale will’s conjecture about the origin of the universe, purposefully searching until he saw a mass of black matter in a corner.
It wriggled and morphed, shapeless.
Could this be the Land of Darkness?
Is the Land of Darkness truly a primordial-level existence?
Levi was astonished, shaken to his core.
He also saw a red-black object in the shape of a "大" character, its surface flesh quivering like the "Tai Sui," with countless hair-like tentacles—this was the Mother Flesh Tree looming in the Nightmare World.
Behind the black matter, he noticed a giant black creature resembling a "Sand Worm," quietly lurking—it should be the Abyss Worm.
Floating within the blue stardust was an enormous object resembling a walnut—you could recognize it as the Star Cluster Brain. Within the ravines of the Star Cluster Brain, a conspicuously innocuous and flimsy worm resembling a pork tapeworm lay coiled—presumably the Star Worm.
Most primordial creatures appeared foreign to him, as if humanity was discovering the microscopic world for the first time, moving by its own set of rules.
However, the dim yellow river mainly composed of death energy that stretched across the void was something he was familiar with—that was the Underworld Source River, also known as the River of Death.
For millions of years, it had remained largely unchanged.
There was also a horrifying material that looked like a fusion of a womb and a hive.
It was unsettling. Levi couldn’t identify it, but it felt strangely familiar, reminding him of the mother nest’s will.
He and the Heavenly Will speculated that the mother nest’s will might also be a Primordial Spirit.
If this was indeed the case,
then their conjecture should be correct.
He even discovered a weak flame flickering alone in the darkness. Though only the size of a candle flame, it contained the energy of countless suns.
Yet it soon exploded, and sparks scattered throughout the darkness.
Only a wisp of undying flame remained.
"Is this the Primordial Spark? The thing the Eternal Fire calls its mother; if what it claims is true, then not all powerful gods are nurtured by that parasite, as some may have evolved from primordial existences.
And the multidimensional planes birthed by the Land of Darkness likely don’t include the Sun Plane—a unique world possibly left by the Primordial Spark.
There is a distinction between Fire Elemental Spirits and ordinary life forms.
Therefore, Sauron bestowed half of the Primordial Spark, thirty thousand years ago, to the Fire Sovereign, the mightiest fire elemental spirit, almost a return to its rightful owner.
In essence, the Fire Sovereign and the Eternal Fire are like brothers.
One is the strongest Fire God in the astral world, the other the mightiest Fire God in the mortal realm. This primordial existence may well be called the Primordial Fire."
Seizing this excellent opportunity as the Chaos Holy Soul simulates universe evolution, Levi used his extraordinary memory and calculation abilities to record all the Primordial Spirits in his mind, noting both their appearances and abilities as well as their eventual outcomes and locations.
Of course, seas change into fields, stars shift in their constellations. The positions he recorded were likely useless by now, merely leaving an expectation for himself.
During the recording process, he observed a circular worm or perhaps a serpentine ring, its head and tail joined, emanating a mysterious aura of destiny.
Including a hint of temporal flavor.
"This should be the primordial existence that birthed the Mortal Circle and Eternal Ring, quite similar to the Snake of the End."
Levi knew that the Snake of the End was definitely not a primordial existence.
It was because a descendant accidentally devoured a primordial relic that, under the influence of primordial power, its offspring evolved toward primordial similarity.
Levi named this existence the Destiny Worm—these bizarre lifeforms aptly named after insects, resembling Earth’s early single-celled organisms.
Like the Primordial Fire, the Destiny Worm also exploded during evolution, perhaps due to the imperfect rules of the early universe, making it impossible for the chaotic cosmos to normally evolve life, leading most Primordial Spirits to not survive.
However, Levi keenly observed that after the Destiny Worm exploded, it transformed from one ring into three smaller rings. One floated into the void, vanished into the darkness, while the other two splashed into the Star Cluster Brain.
"Hiss... Wait, if that one in the Land of Darkness is the Eternal Ring, later devoured by the Snake of the End, then among the two rings shot into the Star Cluster Brain’s body, one is the Mortal Circle, what about the other? Could it have evolved into some deity? I wonder if Sauron found it later?"
Levi temporarily set aside this thought and continued recording.
Next to the Destiny Worm was another long worm, or maybe a river, exuding an immense temporal aura—Levi boldly speculated this was the River of Time.
Or rather the Time Worm.
The Time Worm also bore traces of destiny’s aura.
"The intertwining of the Destiny Worm and Time Worm makes sense."
Levi murmured to himself.
Sadly, the Time Worm also exploded.
It dispersed into countless light points, instantly illuminating the universe.
Yet soon returned to eternal silence.
Levi understood, the Time Worm didn’t die.
Just like how the Primordial Fire evolved into those ancient stars in the universe, it solidified the space-time rules of this chaotic universe with its temporal aura.
He closed his eyes, sensing a boundless great river flowing anywhere across the universe, throughout the past and present. The river was too complex, too profound.
Time has always been the most challenging knowledge for all beings to comprehend.
Now, Levi felt that this chaotic universe seemed far more complete than before, no longer possessing that sense of incompleteness it once had.
He could clearly feel the traces left by the passage of time.
This was the origin of the River of Time.
It gave things an extension in another dimension, a new meaning.
Levi scoured the void, diligently searching.
He wanted to see if this primordial existence left behind any relics.
Relics related to time would inevitably be incredibly powerful.
Eventually, he discovered a castle-like object, although maybe not a castle, merely appearing so due to his subconscious projecting such an "image."
For the time being, calling it the "Time Castle" would suffice.
"Where is this castle? Does mastering this grant the power to alter time? Time reversal?" Levi’s emotions surged.
He widened his eyes, feeling something within the castle.
However, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t clearly discern it.
Suddenly, a voice abruptly appeared in his mind.
"Little fellow, what are you looking at?"
