The Chaotic Holy Court was not big. In fact, it was very much the same as the Sky Dragon Court. After Su Mo and the gang had entered the realm of the Chaotic Holy Court, it took them less than two days to arrive at the foot of a mountain.
This mountain was extremely majestic and mysterious, moreso than any other.
Its size alone covered thousand of miles, towering into the sky. Even with Su Mo’s eyesight, with the peak covered in mist, he was unable to see the peak.
The mountain stood strong and upright, its entire peak surrounded by a large amount of mist from top to bottom, like a mystic mountain hidden in the clouds.
“This is the Chaotic Ancient Mountain?”
The gang looked at the mountain before them with a look of bewilderment on their faces. Even if they were a little more than ten miles away from it, they still could not make out the insides of the mountain clearly. They could only see a divine mountain hidden in the clouds.
Not many had ever come to the Chaotic Holy Court. Seeing this legendary mountain before them, they could not help but be awestruck by it.
“Chaotic Power Energy!” Su Mo looked excitedly at the dense mist lingering on the mountain peaks. The mist was all Chaotic Power Energy, not only rich but also extremely pure.
To him, this place was like a holy training ground. The Chaotic Ancient Mountain lived up to its name, and certainly deserved its reputation.
Soon, under the Grand Elder’s urges, the giant Dragon Scale came to a stop at the foot of the Chaotic Ancient Mountain and in front of a giant mountain gate.
One thing worth mentioning was that the mountain gate was not exactly an entity, but an agglomeration of Chaotic Power Energy, connected by air.
“Who goes there?”
There were only two guards in front of the gate, both of whom were Ninth Grade members of the Real God Realm, no doubt incomparably strong.
With the Thousand Selection Fight just around the corner, the guards of the Chaotic Ancient Mountain had been changed to powerful fighters in the interim. Normally, those who attained the Ninth Grade would not be on guard duty.
“Dragon Tribe!” the Grand Elder said flatly, with nothing else to add. Two words should suffice.
“Come with me please!” One guard said and gathered them around, before leading them into the Chaotic Ancient Mountain.
The questioning was just part of the regulations. He recognized them as the Dragon Tribe on first sight. Introductions were not needed at all.
As they entered the mountain, the gang followed the guard upwards.
From the outside, the Chaotic Ancient Mountain looked to be surrounded by Chaotic Energy, but once they were walking in it, there was not a hint of Chaotic Power Energy at all.
It turned out that the Chaotic Power Energy only surrounded the outside and would not flow within the ancient mountain.
The ancient mountain was gigantic as it stretched continuously. Su Mo and the gang, with the guard in the lead, quickly came to the mountainside area.
They were arranged to stay in a colossal palace which, with its many rooms, could easily contain hundreds of people.
Once they had entered the palace, Su Mo got a room for himself and, putting all matters aside, began his training quietly.
In his body, the source of power was billowing, constantly attacking the realm plateau. Yet, after hours of assault, his realm plateau had only loosened a little, still showing no sign of breaking.
…
“The Dragon Tribe has arrived. Su Mo’s training is only at Fourth Grade, High Rank. Not even Fifth Grade!”
In another palace, in one of the antique rooms, Tian Chenyu reported to Di Yihun and Tian Ganglei.
Those from the Heavenly Palace had arrived at the Chaotic Ancient Mountain half a month before, with Grand Elder Tian Ganglei taking the lead while Di Yihun followed.
They had been waiting for the Dragon Tribe, and it was when the Dragon Tribe had just arrived at the foot of the Chaotic Ancient Mountain that Tian Chenyu discovered the news.
“Not even Fifth Grade?” Di Yihun, donning a snakeskin robe, frowned in his seat.
If Su Mo had not attained the Fifth Grade in his training, then he could not enter the Thousand Selection Fight, and that meant everything Di Yihun had done would be all for nothing.
“What should be do now?” Tian Ganglei wondered, also frowning. This time, they had made sufficient preparations.
Not only would the Ancient Demon Kingdom help them, but the Starlight Court, Sky Tyrant Court, Nether God Court, and the Undying Court would lend a hand too.
The Favored Ones of the five major Courts would work together against Su Mo. Even with his unbelievable skills, he would only be captured.
But right now, with Su Mo’s lack of training making him unqualified for the Thousand Selection Fight, all these efforts would go to waste.
Tian Chenyu and Di yihun remained silent. This was really not good news.
Of course, for Di Yihun, this was not bad news either. After all, if Su Mo could not participate in the Thousand Selection Fight, then the five major Courts would have a higher chance of winning. Then, he could convince the five Courts to allow him access to the Lower Plane for once.
Of course, compared to an uncertain victory, it would be better if Su Mo could participate in the Thousand Selection Fight.
After all, no one could be sure which disciple from which side would emerge victorious in the end. The talents from the five Courts might have been powerful, but the same could be said about the other talents from the Chaotic Holy Court, the Sky Dragon Court, the Human Palace, and the other eighty-one realms of the Sky Pool.
“Di Yihun, any ideas?” Tian Chenyu asked Di Yihun.
“It’s basically impossible to change the rules!” Di Yihun said in a deep voice and added, “The only way now is for Su Mo to break through to the Fifth Level, the sooner the better.”
“If he can’t do that himself, how can we?” Tian Ganglei said helplessly.
“No, there’s a way!” A glimmer shone in Di Yihun’s eyes as he said, “This is the Chaotic Ancient Mountain, and Su Mo trains with the Chaotic Power Source. This is his holy training ground. As long as the Chaotic Holy Court is willing, they can enable Su Mo to break through in his training.”
“What do you mean?” said the other two, eyes shining.
“What I mean it, let the Chaotic Holy Court help Su Mo make his breakthrough!” Di Yihun said in a low voice. If this succeeded, it would be for the best. If not, they would have to give up.
“But, how will the Chaotic Holy Court help him?” the other two asked again, puzzled. Indeed, this might work.
However, at present, Su Mo was representing the Dragon Tribe. Would the Chaotic Holy Court be willing to help him?
“Grand Elder, does the Chaotic Holy Court have any Arcanas? Perhaps one that will aid the Chaotic Tribe greatly?” Di Yihun answered with a question.
“Yes, there is! The Chaotic Chalcedony!” Tian Ganglei nodded and continued, “It is considered the Chaotic Tribes sacred treasure when it comes to training, but it’s also terribly precious. It’s only found once every thousand years within the Chaotic Ancient Mountain. Obviously there’s only a few in the Chaotic Holy Court. It’s almost impossible to expect the Court to spare one for Su Mo.”
“The Chaotic Chalcedony!” Di Yihun muttered as he remained in thought. How could they let Su Mo get his hands on one of those?
“I do have an idea,” Tian Chenyu said then, a glimmer in his eyes.
“What is it?” the other two muttered at the same time.
“The idea is to… let Su Mo think of one himself!” Tian Chenyu laughed.
The other two were left stunned by that statement. He called that an idea?
The more they thought about it, they figured it was indeed a good idea. Su Mo would most definitely want to participate in the Thousand Selection Fight. If they could let him know about the Chaotic Chalcedony, Su Mo would surely think of a way to get it himself.
“Let’s do that!” Di Yihun nodded without hesitation and said, “Chenyu, you’ll take charge. You must let Su Mo know as soon as possible about the Chaotic Chalcedony, but don’t let him know that it’s our doing.”
“Leave it to me!” Chenyu nodded and left.
