Chapter 1576

Chapter 1576: Section 1577 Energy Level Limitation Chapter 1576: Section 1577 Energy Level Limitation In Angel's mind, the Wilderness of Dreams appeared like a glowing miniature garden, floating in the silent Void. The abilities of the “Gate of Dreams” and the “Gatekeeper” manifested as a sandtable within the miniature garden; and the “Ability Tree” grew into a towering tree that took root inside the miniature garden, its green canopy shading the entire landscape of the sandtable.

A wind, from nowhere, made the tree's branches sway.

Angel's gaze was drawn over.

Represented on the tree-like structure of the Ability Tree, there were no leaves, just branches robustly hanging filled with powers.

Originally, the glowing powers on the branches were just three. They were indeed the Gate of Dreams, the Gatekeeper, and the Mist of Sin, which represented the three active powers of the Wilderness of Dreams.

But now, on a new branch, a power that was initially overshadowed, started to faintly glow.

Initially, it glowed like the weak light of fireflies in the night, slowly increasing in brightness until it finally burst into a brilliant radiance. At the same time, this power, previously obscured, formally became a light spot on the Ability Tree, reflecting radiance with the other three spots.

When Angel saw this, he did not look into the specific information of this new power, but opened his eyes and focused on Sanders nearby.

The lighting of a new power on the Ability Tree undoubtedly meant that Sanders had succeeded in his Fusion!

Sure enough, it wasn't long before Sanders opened his eyes.

At the moment he opened his eyes, the entire Wilderness of Dreams suddenly underwent a strange change, like a calm lake surface disturbed by a drop of water, sending ripples expanding across the entire Wilderness of Dreams until they gradually ceased.

As the ripples reached Angel, causing a slight ripple effect around him, Angel immediately understood that this was actually a phenomenon.

The powers within the Wilderness of Dreams, although fictitious, share some similarities with reality. In reality, experiencing a phenomenon during the comprehension of laws is similar.

However, the phenomena in the Wilderness of Dreams are not just symbolic; they can also seek people compatible with these powers.

So, when Sanders pondered for a moment, the first question Angel asked was: “Is there someone compatible with the power?”

Sanders shook his head: “Unfortunately, no.”

“That's normal, there are still too few people in the Wilderness of Dreams,” sighed Angel, then curiously asked, “How was the effect of the Scroll of Fortune? Is the obtained power related to energy control?”

Although Angel could check through the Ability Tree, letting Sanders articulate it himself added a sense of ceremony.

Under Angel's anticipative gaze, Sanders did not keep him in suspense, nodding his head and responding, “It is related.”

“According to the existing information, it should be possible to bring real-world strength into the Wilderness of Dreams.”

After Sanders finished speaking, Angel could hardly contain his ecstasy!

He had agreed to research the Wilderness of Dreams initially for Jon, and partly because he thought of using the combination of the Wilderness of Dreams and the Dream Conch to experiment with “Infinite Alchemy!”

Unfortunately, not being able to bring real-world strength into the Wilderness of Dreams meant that Infinite Alchemy remained a far-off dream.

Angel thought this dream might only be realized far in the future, but now that Sanders himself confirmed it, how could he not be thrilled!

Moreover, once real-world strength could be brought into the Wilderness of Dreams, many things would become possible.

Angel couldn't care less about any sense of ceremony now; he directly opened the Ability Tree and began reading the power information obtained by Sanders.

“Energy Level Limitation: Possessing this power allows one to dominate the extent of external power entering the Wilderness of Dreams.”

Indeed, he was right!

The Scroll of Fortune had taken effect again, and it seemed this time there were no minor mishaps!

After the excitement, the first thing they did was to try this new power.

However, after a while.

Angel stood bewildered in the vast wilderness, completely baffled.

Why was there no effect, and why couldn't they control energy? The so-called bringing of strength into the Wilderness of Dreams had not materialized.

Sanders pondered for a moment: “I'll sense the power information again, to see if there's anything missing.”

Angel nodded and also immersed his thoughts in the Ability Tree, carefully examining every piece of information.

As his research deepened, Angel gradually understood some traits of this new power.

Energy Level Limitation, although it can dominate the level of external strengths entering the Wilderness of Dreams, has a prerequisite–it cannot exceed the energy level of the power holder.

That is to say, the people entering the Wilderness of Dreams, no matter how strong, could not utilize a power surpassing Second Level of True Knowledge after entering, because Sanders, the holder of “Energy Level Limitation”, only possesses power up to the Second Level of True Knowledge.

Additionally, you must also have a foundational strength in reality.

For instance, if Sanders limits the strength in the Wilderness of Dreams to the Apprentice level, even if you are an Official Wizard, your strength can only be at the Apprentice level upon entering the Wilderness of Dreams.

But if a Mortal enters, they wouldn't possess the strength of an Apprentice just because it's limited to that level; they still need a basis in reality.

You are a mortal in reality, and still a mortal when you enter the Wilderness of Dreams.

Besides that, there are many other restrictions and premises. Angel spent over an hour roughly reading through the conditions.

But no matter how you look at it, both he and Sanders should meet the conditions.

After all, Angel could also adjust the “Energy Level Limitation” through the Ability Tree.

Why can't they bring their real-world strength into the Wilderness of Dreams? Where did it go wrong?

While Angel was pondering this, he heard Sanders muttering softly, “The Energy Level Limitation itself is not the problem, could it be that the issue does not lie with the Energy Level Limitation, but with the external environment?”

As he muttered these words, Angel and Sanders almost simultaneously came to a realization.

“Energy!”

When they said energy, they both knew they were actually referring to the Power System!

The Power System had problems!

The Wilderness of Dreams belongs to a derivative of the Dream Realm, and in such an environment, there is absolutely no Magic Power available.

Without an environment conducive to casting, naturally, there's no way to manipulate energy! So it turns out, it's not a problem with the abilities, but rather with the external environment.

After realizing this, Angel also felt somewhat disheartened.

In that case, this “Energy Level Limitation” doesn't seem to be of much use. Could it be that only Dream Sorcerers, who can manipulate dream-related powers, have a way to control energy here?

After a moment of silence, Sanders said, “There aren't many Dream Sorcerers in the Southern Domain, and I know very little about the Dream System. Let's ask Frode, maybe he knows something.”

Angel agreed with Sanders' suggestion. Angel then hid the Principal Body of the Nightmare Domain again and exited the Wilderness of Dreams.

When they logged in again, Angel had already used the authority of the Gate of Dreams to change the entry location to the Sky Tower.

Frode was still sitting at the desk, silently contemplating how to deal with creatures of Mist of Sin, and was pleasantly surprised when he saw Angel and Sanders appear. Frode stood up, ready to ask what new abilities they had gained, but Angel spoke first, voicing his concerns.

Upon hearing about the “Energy Level Limitation” authority, Frode was initially delighted, thinking that they could now bring real-world strength into the Wilderness of Dreams.

However, after listening to Angel's explanation, he was taken aback.

Frode: “Lacking a corresponding power system?”

Angel nodded, “We're wondering, could it be that only Dream Sorcerers can utilize their full strength in the Wilderness of Dreams?”

Frode immediately shook his head, “No, even if Dream Sorcerers go into the Dream Realm, they don't solely use dream-related powers when dealing with Dream Realm creatures. They still rely on the Wizard's own power to handle things.”

Frode paused then added, “I think you may have misunderstood something.”

“The issue with the power system is not actually an issue in the Dream Realm. There's a well-known saying among Dream Sorcerers–”

“With dreams as your horse, there will be no borders in the distance.”

This also implies that the breadth and freedom of dreams exceed imagination. Otherwise, why can someone in a dream become both the Creator God of all things and turn into humble Dust.

Because dreams set no limits.

“Since dreams set no limits, there is naturally no such thing as a power system. In the Dream Realm, if you perceive energy as Telekinesis from the Hante world, it becomes controllable Telekinesis; if you treat it as the power of an Evil God from the Lofte world, then it becomes the power of an Evil God.” Frode: “Thus, Primordial Magic is the same.”

Angel pondered, “So, you're saying that our inability to manipulate energy is unrelated to the power system?”

At this point, Frode shifted his tone and shook his head, “This isn't quite right. I think your judgment is not incorrect; it probably really does relate to the power system.

Angel: “…” Then what about all that talk you just gave about 'dreams setting no limits'?

Frode explained, “What I just described mostly pertains to the Dream Realm. However, the Wilderness of Dreams is not the Dream Realm.”

“The Wilderness of Dreams, although a derivative of the Dream Realm, has its own rules, and these rules are more precise compared to the Dream Realm. Hence, I think it leans more closely toward the real world.”

“In the Wilderness of Dreams, things don't just change size arbitrarily, nor can you achieve anything by merely thinking or speaking it into existence. It possesses a chain of rules that align with its own internal logic and is almost ninety percent similar to reality.”

Otherwise, the newcomers at Originheart City wouldn't still live their lives as though they were humans.

“So, your inability to manipulate energy, according to the relatively strict rules of the Wilderness of Dreams, does indeed most likely relate to the power system.”

“Now that we know where the problem lies, solving it should be quite easy.”

At this point, both Angel and Sanders understood.

It's simply a matter of a closed loop missing an angle. To complete this angle, a corresponding power system needs to appear in the Wilderness of Dreams.

And how should it appear?

Needless to say, it's definitely related to another unknown authority.
