Sinafa’s gaze was fixed intently on the Pannas Succubus across from her.

In her understanding, the most easily dealt with Abyssal Demon for Wizards were Succubi.

Through the long life of a Wizard, with the baptism of years, the control over their own desires deepens gradually, facing a Succubus that uses enchantment as its weapon for both offense and defense; naturally strong spiritual power gives Wizards an absolute advantage.

Moreover, Sinafa herself was a Witch, she disdained male Succubi, let alone a frail female one.

In her heart, Sinafa actually didn’t care much about the enemy before her. The only reason she hadn’t made a move was because of a unique Wizard’s sense of danger warning her that peril was drawing near.

Sinafa didn’t think this danger came from the Succubus opposite her.

Now, her location was only a few hundred meters away from the destination. If the descendant of the Demon God named Aoluxiya was nearby, there must be formidable defenses around. Perhaps the danger her intuition warned her of came from this hidden crisis.

“Is there a demon hiding in the shadows, or perhaps, there’s a mechanism?” Sinafa’s eyes were on the Pannas Succubus, but her peripheral vision was scanning the surroundings.

Huh? Sinafa’s gaze turned towards the sea of fire next to her.

She seemed to faintly sense a gaze measuring her up from there. Could it be the demon hiding in the darkness? But why did she not feel any malice from this gaze?

Self-control over emotions? Could it be the Obscure Demon?

“My my, to be so distracted during our standoff, are you deliberately giving me a chance? Well then, I won’t be polite,” the Succubus’s lips curved into an enchanting smile, and a pale pink breath wafted toward Sinafa.

The pale pink mist carried a sweet scent. When it reached the nose, it seemed as if one could see pink petals fluttering in front of their eyes.

“A low-end Illusion Technique, not even equal to Sanders’s Apprentice,” Sinafa snorted coldly, her demeanor suddenly shifted, and she waved her palm to release a cold breeze that directly scattered the pale pink breath. Moreover, deliberately or not, Sinafa blew the pink breath towards the sea of fire beside her; she wanted to see who was peeping from the shadows.

The inadvertently targeted Angel maintained his silence.

Fortunately, Angel’s reaction was swift. As soon as he saw that strange-colored mist drifting towards him, he quickly retracted his spirit tentacles into the Domain of Wind. The pink breath dissipated without any surprise upon coming into contact with the Domain of Wind.

Only after confirming that there was no pink breath in sight did Angel tentatively extend his spirit tentacles outward again.

However, although he could no longer see the pink breath with his physical eyes, Angel could still faintly detect a strange scent upon reconnecting with the outside world, which brought a dizzying, mesmerizing sensation upon brief contact.

Fortunately, the remnants of that scent were minimal and didn’t significantly affect Angel.

On the other hand, both Sinafa and the Pannas Succubus noticed that the pink mist in the sea of fire had dissipated. Sinafa quietly analyzed the brief gust of wind that had passed earlier, which seemed simple but contained some sort of rule that made her heart tremble in fear.

Meanwhile, the Pannas Succubus merely hooked up a faint smile. It knew clearly what lurked within the fire.

“So that’s your hidden piece? Why hide in the shadows, let those skulking nightcrawlers come out,” Sinafa sneered, speaking to the Succubus.

“A hidden piece?” The Pannas Succubus didn’t explain the presence of the Misty Cabin, but retorted sarcastically, “Since it’s a hidden piece, how could it possibly show itself so easily? It will only strike from the shadows when you are at your weakest, fiercely stabbing you.”

The Pannas Succubus continued to giggle coquettishly, while Sinafa simply watched quietly, gauging for the right moment.

That moment came.

The wind blew eastward, the sparks rising from the sea of fire fortuitously reached between them, obscuring their line of sight. The Pannas Succubus’s forehead lifted slightly, still laughing coquettishly.

“Now!” In that instant, Sinafa made her move. Her figure disappeared in the blink of an eye, her burst of speed so astonishing it produced a loud sonic boom and, with a burst of sparks, she fiercely charged in front of the Pannas Succubus.

Regardless of who the hidden piece was and whether it would launch a sneak attack, Sinafa decided to cut down the verbose Pannas Succubus first.

In the eyes of the surprised Succubus, Sinafa had already reached its front. Her form swiftly leaped into the low sky, with both hands transformed into sharp blades at that moment, one hand carrying blistering flames, the other hand swirling with intense frost. Her silver hair flew wildly, and her fiery eyes shone with an intimidating brilliance!

With hands as blades, she executed a diagonal cross slash!

The convergence of ice and fire at this moment unveiled their terrifying momentum.

A flash of light, and beads of blood floated in suspense, suspended in frozen time. Sinafa spun and landed, crouching, the wind blowing her robes and white hair with a fierce rustle.

It was quite a stunning scene of a kill, at least to the onlooker—Angel who found it aesthetically pleasing.

However, the parties involved, had diverse thoughts. Despite Sinafa’s clean and graceful post-kill landing posture, her expression was extremely gloomy.

Earlier she had burst forth with all her might, using the diametrically opposed elements of ice and fire as her means of attack, but at the crucial moment, when she wanted to sever the Pannas Succubus’s neck completely, something unexpected happened.

Angel was initially surprised by Sinafa’s surprise attack. But the moment Sinafa charged, her expression shifted from surprise to a cunning smile filled with hidden meaning.

Sinafa wasn’t aware of anything amiss at first, but as the rhythm of her Ice-Fire Cross assault reached its zenith, she discovered that the Pannas Succubus had actually evaded the critical blow! The speed was so fast it nearly created a Phantom Shadow, just slightly tilting her body to deflect ninety-five percent of the damage.

The blood dripping in midair was nothing more than a minor wound! Even… Angel looked at the Pannas Succubus in astonishment, as she cooed provocatively, and a pink stone, resembling a serpent’s tongue, extended from the mouth on her forehead, licking the previous injury she had sustained.

That lone injury vanished completely at a speed visible to the naked eye.

“Surprised?” the Pannas Succubus glanced at Sinafa, “I am a Water System Succubus, I don’t just seduce men, I can also heal~”

The lilting tail of her voice, combined with the coquettish eyes she threw, left Sinafa feeling somewhat stifled.

What surprised her was not the speed of the healing, but—

Aren’t the succubi supposed to have the weakest flesh? How could it dodge a close-range attack, with a reaction speed even faster than the Sheep Demon who possesses boundless physical strength!

Sinafa stood up, and the ground, impacted by her previous fall, revealed a spider-like Pattern.

Facing the still flirtatious succubus, Sinafa for the first time put aside her contempt.

This succubus was by no means simple. Sinafa even had a faint suspicion that the previous premonition of danger might not have come from that hidden lurking gaze but from the succubus right in front of her!

Sinafa cast aside her contempt, no longer caring about the hidden gaze, and focused all her attention on the succubus.

A flash of light and shadow, and Sinafa, combining her own methods, launched attacks against the succubus from afar and up close.

It looked like she was moving erratically, but each strike was forceful and unrestrained, without any attempt to cover up or slow down.

As Sinafa turned serious, her expression grew more solemn, and her eyes darker. She held nothing back in her onslaught against the succubus, leaving no gap in her continuous attacks.

Yet, what completely shocked her was that the succubus withstood it all.

Moreover, the succubus remained composed from beginning to end, never retreating even in close combat.

Even—

Sinafa felt, when she engaged in close quarters combat with the succubus, she somehow became even more excited? What sort of bizarre succubus was this?

After the interplay of light and shadow, Sinafa hovered in midair, looking down at the succubus whose clothes were merely disheveled, her gaze flickering uncertainly.

Finally, Sinafa made a decision.

“One can never let loose and fight in Abyss,” Sinafa spoke softly. With energy restoration extremely slow, combined with the overwhelming energy of Abyss suppressing her, she had never exerted her full strength, thinking of keeping her trump cards against Aoluxiya. But now, she had to go all out.

Sinafa looked up at the succubus opposite her, never expecting that her first full-force battle in Abyss would be against this succubus.

Sinafa showed neither joy nor sorrow, simply stating matter-of-factly, “I’m getting serious.”

As her words fell, Sinafa’s aura surged instantaneously.

Boundless flames, endless frost, as well as the vast expanse of light, the deep and terrifying darkness, affirmative and negative, attraction and repulsion… a multitude of extreme and opposing forces took the form of phantom shadows, rising slowly behind Sinafa.

In Angel’s eyes, who was watching from afar, the phantom shadows behind Sinafa kept transforming, with eternal ice peaks, fiery magma rockets, wind-swept dark forests, and distant holy hymns from radiant sanctuaries; there were floating islands and sunken lands, flowing rivers and reverse cascading waterfalls.

Marvelous and everchanging.

Simultaneously, Sinafa’s form underwent massive Transmutation.

In a stretch of her physique, Sinafa grew wings on her back, one black like a bat’s, the other white like a goose’s feathers. Amidst the interplay of black and white, her feet turned into slender deer hooves, her hands into bladed edges, and her body was covered in silvery scales.

Her complex form was completely different from before.

Angel knew that this form of Sinafa must be her battle state, but which aspects were Bloodline changes, and which were transplanted organs, was hard for him to discern.

However, Angel was certain that the moment of deciding victory was not too far off.

The time it took for Sinafa to Transform was incredibly short, so brief it was momentary. The Pannas Succubus actually had a chance to interrupt her, but she didn’t do so. Instead, she still had a smile on her face as she spoke:

“You’ve become serious, how interesting. I actually preferred your earlier demeanor… but since you’ve gotten serious, it’s time I reveal my true form too, so that you can die enlightened.”
