Chapter 3447: Lin Mu Versus Cattaleya! The Final Fight!

Chapter 3447: Lin Mu Versus Cattaleya! The Final Fight!

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

An entire hour passed in strange balance. Neither fighter changed their style or used techniques. They fought only with fists, shocking the audience.

Finally, Lin Mu spoke while striking.

"I hope you are feeling better now?" he asked mid punch.

BOOM!

"Yes! Much better!" Cattaleya replied while smashing his fist. "Now I can fight properly."

"Good," Lin Mu smiled. "Then we should give the audience a real show."

He flipped backward, creating distance between them.

"Indeed," Cattaleya said, also stepping back.

"Why are they stopping?" someone muttered.

"They are not tired already, are they?" a young man asked.

Smack!

"Of course not, you fool," an old man beside him said, smacking the back of his head. "They are just starting for real."

"Ow! You did not need to hit me!" the young man complained.

"Just watch," the old man replied without blinking.

HUMMMM... HUMMMM...

Both Lin Mu and Cattaleya released their vitality fully. Their auras spread through the entire stadium. Everyone who felt it trembled. They had never experienced such overwhelming presence from contestants.

"Almost like the Patriarch..." one elder of the Martial Fist King Sect muttered.

HONGLONG!

Lin Mu’s body shone with golden light. Brown symbols appeared across his skin, depicting mountains, rivers, plains, lakes, and endless landscapes.

"Burdenless Dominator Physique!" Lin Mu activated it fully.

"HAAH!" Cattaleya did the same, though her transformation was completely different.

HUALA!

Crimson immortal essence swirled around her, darkening and thickening as it shaped itself around her body.

"Duskthorn Style: Calamity War Set!" she declared.

Immortal essence solidified into armor around her.

No one had ever seen her use this before. Not even Lin Mu and her companions.

"Oh?" Lin Mu said. "This is new. Did you create this?"

"No. It is a clan technique," she replied as the armor solidified.

"Why did you never use it before?" Lin Mu asked.

"It consumes too much immortal essence," she answered. "Other fights only need offense. With you, I need defense too."

A thick black chestplate formed, nearly three inches thick. Red glowing lines crawled over it, linking directly into her body.

Two massive shoulder pauldrons formed above it, dome shaped and covered in curved thorns.

Gauntlets appeared on her fists, each with two massive horn-like spikes.

A battle skirt formed from overlapping metal scales shaped like sharp feathers.

Her greaves matched the design, but her boots were huge, with dagger-like heels.

Finally, a helmet crowned with thorn-like spikes covered her head, leaving only two glowing amber eyes visible.

"Truly impressive..." Lin Mu muttered. He realized it must have consumed nearly half her immortal essence.

"I am ready," Cattaleya said.

"Very well. Impact!" Lin Mu used the first form of Mountain Collapsing Fist, already charged.

He used only three percent of his immortal essence, testing her defense.

BOOM!

His fist struck her chest before she could move.

The aura collision shook the air and the arrays.

When the dust cleared, everyone stared.

"What?!"

"She is unharmed?!"

"She did not even move!"

Cattaleya stood there proudly.

"Good enough?" she asked.

"Not just good. Great!" Lin Mu’s eyes shone golden as he kicked at her waist.

She blocked with her arm, grabbed his leg, and hurled him across the ring.

WHOOSH!

Lin Mu smashed into the barrier.

CRACK!

A faint crack appeared. People behind it nearly fainted in fear and wet their pants.

But Lin Mu rebounded instantly.

MOOOOOO!

The tyrant bull phantom appeared.

"Tyrant Bull Marrow Secrets: Tyrant Stomp!"

His leg swelled massively as he descended like a falling mountain toward Cattaleya, the ground trembling in anticipation.

Lin Mu descended like a falling mountain, his enlarged leg wrapped in golden and brown light of his physique, the phantom of the Tyrant Bull roaring above him. The air screamed under the weight of his stomp, compressing so violently that ripples spread outward like waves on water.

Cattaleya did not retreat.

Instead, she bent her knees slightly, the thorns on her armor scraping against each other as crimson essence surged. The Calamity War Set pulsed once, then twice, and the red lines across it glowed like molten veins.

BOOM!

Lin Mu’s Tyrant Stomp crashed down.

The ring shattered beneath them. Stone exploded upward like a volcano, and the reinforced arrays flared wildly, pouring out light to keep the stadium from collapsing.

Cattaleya was driven into the ground, her boots sinking deep as cracks spiderwebbed outward for hundreds of meters.

Yet she did not fall.

Her armored arms crossed above her head, blocking the stomp. Her body trembled under the pressure, but she grinned behind her helmet.

"Is that all?" Her voice echoed, distorted slightly by the armor.

Lin Mu twisted midair, using the rebound from his stomp to flip backward. He landed lightly despite the force he had just unleashed.

"Not even close," he replied calmly.

He moved.

Not forward, not backward, but sideways in a blur that left afterimages behind. In an instant, he appeared at Cattaleya’s flank and drove his fist toward her ribs.

She turned, but not fast enough.

CRASH!

His punch struck the side of her armor, sending her sliding across the broken ring, carving a deep trench in the stone.

Dust rose high into the air.

Before it could even settle, Cattaleya exploded out of it like a black and red meteor. She twisted midair and slammed her gauntleted fist downward.

"Duskthorn Style Fist Arts: Ruin Fang Breaker!"

The thorned gauntlet elongated with essence, forming a massive spike of dark immortal essence that plunged toward Lin Mu.

Lin Mu crossed his arms and braced.

BOOM!

The spike hit him head on. The ground beneath him disintegrated, and he was driven backward, skidding across shattered stone, his heels carving twin trenches.

He stopped himself with a sharp twist of his body, then looked down at his arms.

Fine cracks glimmered across his golden skin, already beginning to heal.

He smiled.

"Good," he said softly. "Now it feels like a fight."

Cattaleya laughed loudly, her helmet tilting slightly as she rolled her shoulders.

"That is what I wanted to hear!"

She charged.
