Xu Que had never intended to keep all the remaining beef balls for himself, so he happily divided up the rest of the beef balls amongst Madam Ya, Su Ling’er and Su Xiao Qi.
Once the rest of the beef balls had been distributed, he stood next to the stove and began to use his bare hands to tenderize a piece of pork.
“Wow! The way he messages the pork seems rather sophisticated.”
“It looks very gentle, but is very powerful indeed.”
“How strange… Do these dishes require magic incantations in order to make them?”
“He isn’t actually using a magic incantation. He is using Kung Fu, and splendidly might I add. Still, I have no idea what he is going to do next.”
“There are only some pork chops, some green vegetables and a few eggs laying on the table. What could he possibly make with just these ingredients?”
“The beef balls we ate just now contained the meat of the Sea Tribe. That’s why they enhanced our Soul Strength. However, I don’t see any shrimp this time. The dish he is making now might just be an ordinary dish.”
“You are right. Though it is the God of Cookery who is cooking dinner for us, we were already very privileged to have been able to eat those beef balls. Now, we must accept that this dish will be ordinary.”
“Yes, but it is extremely unfortunate that we each only had two beef balls.”
Suddenly, a ball of fire appeared on Xu Que’s palm. The temperature of the surrounding air around immediately increased. The crowd became worried. They wondered what he was trying to do.
Xu Que chanted a magic incantation which caused the pork to float in the air. Then he surrounded the pork with the Molten Green Lotus. He then waved his hand, causing the pork to rotate quickly in the air.
He was grilling the pork at a very low temperature…
“What on earth…”
“What’s going on? The stove is right next to him. Why is he wasting his True Core Power to grill the pork?”
“Wait, it smells…”
As soon as the aroma of the pork reached their noses, everyone was stunned.
It was completely different from any scent they had ever smelled before. In a word, it smelled fantastic!
“I got it! He must have pushed out the bad flavors from the pork while he was messaging it. I also saw him add some honey to it.”
“I think he must have also added some spices, but I can’t tell what those spices are by simply smelling it.”
“My God! We underestimated him again. He is the God of Cookery. Of course his cuisine is always brilliant.”
“I can’t take it anymore! It just smells so good! It’s as if I have been starving for hundreds of years! This is the first time I have ever smelled something so delicious!”
Many of the guests could no longer suppress their hunger. It was as if there were countless ants crawling all over their bodies.
The smell permeated the entire palace.
…
Meanwhile, in a desolated building, three men of the Sea Tribe were drinking.
A few maids were laying on the ground. They were all naked and obviously dead.
“The women in the human world are too ordinary. There is simply not that much Negative Energy inside their bodies,” one of the men said.
“By the way, why on earth haven’t the other two come back yet?”
“Maybe they have already come back without us noticing since we set up a magic array and have been busy cultivating. Regardless, they are probably busy raping a bunch of women outside.”
“I hope they haven’t run into any trouble!” a man said, frowning.
“Trouble? Not likely!” the man in red sneered. “I don’t think there is anyone in this sh*tty place who could pose a threat to us. Yes, they are not as powerful as us three, but they could easily win against someone at the eighth level of the Infant Transformation Stage.”
The two other men nodded.
“You are right. Compared to the people in our hometown, the people here at the eighth level of the Infant Transformation Stage are so much weaker.”
“So, you can have as much fun as you want here,” the man in red said. “There’s no need to worry… Wait, what’s that smell?!”
He had never smelled anything like this before. Unable to suppress his desire to draw closer to the smell, he lurched forward.
“Wow! The smell is getting more and more intense!” said one man.
“My God! It’s like I’ve lost control over my own body. Is this some sort of poisonous gas that can influence our bodies against our will?” said the other.
The man in red stood up and looked to the distance.
“It’s not a poisonous gas,” the man in red said with a smile. “Someone is cooking over there! My my, I never thought we would come across such a good cook here in the Fire Nation!”
“What?!”
Someone is cooking? This is impossible. How can a cook’s food have such a great effect on us cultivators?
…
After a while, Xu Que had completely cooked the huge piece of pork.
Everyone was shocked.
“How can this be? How could he turn an ordinary piece of pork into a piece of extremely tasty roast pork?” someone exclaimed.
“This is not roast pork,” Xu Que said coldly. “This is Char siu! You have no idea how much time it takes to learn the art of turning a piece of pork into a piece of Char siu. This, here, is an extraordinary Char siu.”
“Let me taste it!” Buttface cried, jumping up high into the air and sticking out his tongue as he ran towards the Char siu.
Xu Que secretly smiled. He had prolonged the time it took to cook the tasty Char siu on purpose simply to see if Buttface could resist the temptation or not.
He proved that he could not.
Xu Que was about to stop Buttface in his tracks when a red figure suddenly appeared and grabbed the Char siu out of Xue Que’s hands.
“F*ck! Give me that Char siu!” Buttface said, furious.
“How dare a mangy dog oppose me?” the man in red sneered.
In his anger, Buttface lept toward the man, trying to hit the man’s arm with his tongue. In a flash, the man’s fingertip began to glow as bright as a star. He then used his fingertip to block Buttface’s tongue.
Bang!
The man’s glowing fingertip collided with Buttfaces tongue, creating a loud noise.
The man in red’s face twisted with pain as he was launched across the room…
