Chapter 478 - The Bugs have been Making Enough Noise
Chapter 478: The Bugs have been Making Enough Noise
Back in the day, the governments of nations could still pose quite a threat to Lu Xuan. After all, he nearly died in the south pole after the US bombarded him with a nuclear missile.
Lu Xuan failed to see much of a challenge in dealing with the forces still lurking in the shadows behind the nations. The Vampiric Empire and the Roman Curia were two examples of such forces among many others that could still pose a threat to him.
Even so, it did not matter if he was facing the Vampiric Empire, the werewolves, and the Roman Curia. In his current state, Lu Xuan saw everyone to be nothing more than insignificant insects.
Lu Xuan believed that such forces were not even worth a second of his time at all.
As long as they knew their place, he was willing to leave them be. If they stood in his way and caused trouble, however, he would have had no problems with having to get rid of them.
He had control over both the forces of Yunxuan Villa and that of the Myriad Demon Valley. Additionally, he was already very powerful on his own.
All that meant that he would have no problems with taking out anyone who dared to stand against him.
As far as he was concerned, the most pressing issue as of now was not how to take them out, but instead how to force them to come out of hiding.
With such forces emerging one after another, they will all eventually be wiped out once and for all.
He had been, and is still, eliminating such people since the days of the United Nations. Naturally, people from the regions of both America and Europe who opposed him were at the very top of his hit list.
Lu Xuan coldly chuckled to himself as he said, “I don’t care about how many of them will emerge or even what force is backing them up. In this case, the more the merrier!”
“It would be best if they all came out of hiding so we can get rid of them all once and for all. If I’m not mistaken, those people probably were the true rulers behind the Region of America and Region of Europe. Those jerks are unhappy to see the Region of Huaxia now being more powerful than them, even when they have been doing many things behind the scenes. Considering everything that has happened, now is the best time to get rid of them once and for all.”
Lu Xuan straightened himself and cast his gaze far away before continuing, “Right now, their existence is the Human Alliance’s greatest obstacle in becoming a truly unified ruling body.”
“As long as such people still exist, the Human Alliance will never be able to truly reach its potential. It’s not enough to have a global government that exists only in name,” Lu Xuan said. He remembered that during his previous life, the Human Alliance was always a de facto global government. Having existed for over 50 years, they had the power to handle affairs affecting the entire world.
The path to getting there was long and arduous. After a long-lasting power struggle between them, the most powerful of the regions—those of Huaxia, America, and Europe—finally managed to truly work together.
When threatened by powerful external forces, they were forced to cooperate. Back then, everyone knew just how perilous of a situation that humanity was in. Unless everyone in the world truly united as one, all of humanity would have most likely been doomed.
Thanks to such consensus and the people from the era of the United Nations ceasing to be, the shared identity of humanity as a single entity finally came to be.
Such a goal was so far away from the current reality that he had no intentions of going through the ages all over again.
As long as the process of breaking the deadlock was shortened, breaking the one between the three big regions was necessary.
The Human Alliance needed to have a unifying leader, and that leader could only be the Region of Huaxia.
Both the Regions of America and Europe could only serve as auxiliary forces to boost the might of the Human Alliance. The ones who were currently causing trouble were none other than those who were ruling from behind the scenes in the two regions.
Once they were all exterminated, a new era would be ushered for the Human Alliance.
There were far too many enemies and extraterrestrial threats for the Human Alliance to deal with. The demons summoned from Hell only marked the beginning of the struggle.
“We cannot afford to let those people do whatever they please. What I want to see is a Human Alliance that is led by Huaxia, a force that could unify the power of humanity to deal with our enemies.”
Lu Xuan recalled his past life and what led to the rise of the Human Alliance. It was true that he was thoroughly disgusted by some people from the Regions of Europe and America.
He was compelled to get rid of all those people as soon as possible.
“You bugs have been making too much noise.”
Dragon was thoroughly stunned by Lu Xuan’s ambition, which far surpassed what he had in mind. Because of what had happened, the Region of Huaxia also intended to subjugate the Regions of America and Europe.
However, his efforts were still focused solely on stopping those two from causing more trouble. Regarding who could lead the Human Alliance, he found it imperative for the Region of Huaxia to take the position.
Even he did not expect something like that to have happened. He simply could not imagine how much resistance against whatever they planned would have met.
Considering the current state of things, even he had to be careful.
However, Lu Xuan’s case was different from others; he was part of the framework of the Human Alliance, to begin with. Dragon thought that Lu Xuan probably found it hilarious to be so cautious with things.
Lu Xuan did not see any reason to be concerned at all.
Dragon said, “I never expected you to have such ambitions, Mr. Lu. I take it that your vision extends beyond dealing with these pests, correct?”
Lu Xuan said, “Indeed. Individually, these fools could never amount to much. That is why there is no need to fear them. If any of them show themselves, just kill them on the spot. Get rid of as many of them as you guys can. What just happened would be a good excuse to have the Region of Huaxia take those other two regions as subsidiaries and serve us. If you need any assistance with this process, feel free to call upon me, Yunxuan Villa, or even the Myriad Demon Valley for help.”
Despite being mentally prepared to hear Lu Xuan mention the Myriad Demon Valley, Dragon was still stunned when Lu Xuan did.
“So, you do have a connection with the Myriad Demon Valley then, Mr. Lu?” Dragon’s voice sounded rather shaky. He believed that if Lu Xuan was the one commanding the forces of the Myriad Demon Valley, he could rewrite human history.
Lu Xuan flashed a smile and casually replied, “Indeed. Do you seriously think that the monsters’ sudden decision to stand with humanity is that bad?”
Dragon shook his head. There was no way for him to ever be so deluded. Furthermore, he was only able to deduce the monsters’ connection to Lu Xuan thanks to the impeccable timing of his return.
However, he did not need to speculate any further after Lu Xuan just blurted out the truth like that.
Everything he had rehearsed in his mind to get the truth out of Lu Xuan was all for nothing; he did not even need to ask him anything in the first place.
Dragon immediately realized right that someone else would have definitely used such powers as trump cards to maximize their gains.
Lu Xuan, however, saw such an exercise to be utterly pointless. His powers had far exceeded the limitations of such rules.
Lu Xuan was fully capable of threatening others using such powers to his heart’s content. Thus, there was no need for him to hide anything.
Based on what he knew about Lu Xuan so far, Dragon acknowledged that this truly was how Lu Xuan would be handling the situation. There was no need for threats; all that was needed was action.
To be more precise, all that was needed were actions that were simple, direct, and absurdly brutal.
While violence was unable to solve problems, it could still get rid of the ones who were causing the problems in the first place.
Dragon felt rather exasperated at that point. He noticed how, with his state of mind, he was unable to even begin to compare with Lu Xuan’s state of mind.
There was simply no need to even compare them in the first place.
