"Good evening, Jenny," Renee Jennings said with a laugh.

"Yes, yes!" Jenny nodded repeatedly, then held up a large cat. "Host, can you help me communicate with my cat?"
Renee Jennings asked curiously, "Communicate about what?"
"Well, here’s what happened," Jenny said. "My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and a half, and we were planning to get married at the end of this year. So last month, we arranged for our parents to meet."

"My mom is the type of person who, if she doesn’t want to talk, will never say a thing no matter how you ask." Jenny raised a hand to rub her brow. "So I thought I’d try to get it out of my dad, but he was surprisingly tight-lipped this time. He wouldn’t make a peep, no matter what I asked."

"This cat, do your parents take care of him?" Renee Jennings’s gaze fell on the cat in her arms.
"Yes," Jenny said, stroking the cat’s head with a doting smile. "His name is Dada. I found him on my way home from school in high school. He’s a little old man now, and my parents have always taken care of him."
Renee Jennings nodded slightly and said softly, "So you want me to ask Dada if he knows why your mother is telling you to break up?"
"Yes," Jenny nodded emphatically. "You’re so smart, Host! Hehe~"
She looked down at Dada and said gently, "Good Dada, can you talk to the nice host? Tell her everything you know, okay?"
Dada seemed to understand, meowing, "I know. Nellie, you should just listen to your mom and break up!"
"Why?" It was Renee Jennings who asked. "Dada, why does Nellie’s mother want her to break up?"
Dada turned to look at Renee Jennings on the screen and blinked his feline eyes. "If I tell you, will you be able to understand me?"
"I can," Renee Jennings nodded with a smile. "Go ahead, Dada. I’m listening."
Dada stared at her for a long moment before meowing, "Actually, Mom was very happy with Nellie’s boyfriend. But she discovered that Nellie’s boyfriend’s mother is Nellie’s father’s first love."
"What a coincidence," Renee Jennings said, raising an eyebrow. She hadn’t expected that to be the reason.
The problem wasn’t with Jenny’s boyfriend, but with his mother.
"Host, what did Dada say?" Jenny asked, a little nervous.
Renee Jennings said slowly, "Jenny, your boyfriend’s mother is your father’s first love."
