The Villainess's Heartthrob Script: I Can Talk to Animals

Chapter 403: Warning Crystal of Danger, Come Back Quickly

Chapter 403: Chapter 403: Warning Crystal of Danger, Come Back Quickly

[Mom, I’ve made it! I actually saw a lion smile at me!]

[This is the first time I’ve ever seen a lion smile, and it was at me!]

[Can I see a tiger smile at me next?]

[Are you guys getting picky now?]

Renee let Thunderbolt interact with the camera for a little while longer before continuing to connect with her viewers.

Connection with "The Kitty Is Very Good" was successful.

The screen split in two again. The new panel showed the back of a girl looking out at the sea, with three small cats sitting beside her.

Blue sky, white clouds, a gentle breeze, and cresting waves—the scene was pleasant and beautiful.

Renee’s lips curled into a smile. Her voice was tinged with amusement as she said, "The Kitty Is Very Good."

A man’s voice came from the other screen. "Yes, very good. And very clingy with my wife."

"What?" The girl looking at the sea heard the voice and turned around to ask, "Honey, who are you talking to?"

The man replied, "Your favorite streamer."

The girl froze for two seconds, then glared at him with a smile. "You’re teasing me again!"

"I’m not teasing." The camera moved closer and closer to the girl, and the split-screen image became a vast, endless sea. The next moment, a scream erupted.

"WAAAH—"

[Oh my god, you scared me!]

[You scared me too! Pay up!]

The girl covered her mouth in shock, saying in disbelief, "How did you connect?"

Seeing the bullet comments saying they were scared, she quickly apologized. "I’m so sorry, so sorry! I didn’t mean to scare everyone. I just got a little emotional..."

Renee chuckled lightly. "It’s okay. Are you two on vacation?"

The girl flipped the camera to her own face and said politely, "Hello, Renee. My name is Crystal, and this is my husband, Finn. We’re on our honeymoon right now."

"Congratulations." Renee offered her sincere blessings. "I hope you have a wonderful and sweet trip."

"Thank you!" Crystal’s face was full of joy. "I’m so happy to receive your blessing, Renee!"

Renee raised an eyebrow slightly. "I saw three small cats next to you earlier. Did you bring them on your trip?"

"Actually, I only brought one of them," Crystal explained, pointing the camera at the three well-behaved cats. "The calico is mine. Her name is Baa. I found the orange cat and the tabby during my travels. They don’t have names yet. The three of them get along very well."

"That’s great," Renee nodded. "Are you planning to take them home with you?"

"Yes," Crystal said. "If I can raise one, I figure I can raise three."

[A girl with such a kind heart is sure to be happy!]

[Wishing Crystal and Finn a lifetime of happiness!]

Crystal thanked the well-wishes in the comments, then mustered her courage and said, "Renee, could you help me name the orange cat and the tabby?"

"Of course," Renee readily agreed. "The orange cat... let’s call him Sunshine. And the tabby, Blue Sky."

"Sunshine, Blue Sky..." Crystal nodded with a wide smile. "They’re beautiful! I love those names! Thank you, Renee!"

"You’re welcome." A faint smile played on Renee’s lips. "Is there anything else I can help you with?"

"Actually, there is!" Crystal said. "There’s something that Bill and I find very strange."

Renee raised an eyebrow. "What is it?"

"It’s about Baa." Crystal cradled the calico, Baa, in her arms and stroked her head. "I asked Bill to take a picture of me just now, but Baa kept screaming. She seemed really agitated."

She tapped her own phone a few times and held the screen up to the camera. "Renee, can you help explain what Baa was crying about?"

Renee nodded. "Sure, let me have a listen."

"Okay." Crystal pressed play on the video.

The video was nearly a minute long. It showed Crystal standing in the seawater, posing for a photo. She slowly backed away as the water rose from her ankles, bit by bit, until it was over her calves.

Renee’s expression was focused and serious. After listening to Baa’s cries, a gentle smile appeared on her face. "Crystal, you’ve raised a very good little cat who loves you very much."

"Baa?" Crystal said in agreement. "I think she’s wonderful and amazing, too. Sometimes, when I’m in a bad mood, she can tell. She’ll stay by my side, comfort me, and even try to cheer me up!"

[So what was Baa crying about?]

[Aren’t cats afraid of water? Why was Baa trying so hard to run into the sea?]

[I’m so jealous your cat is so well-behaved. Unlike the little monster I’m raising, who only knows how to make me angry all day!]

"Baa didn’t know you were just taking pictures," Renee explained softly. "Cats have a natural instinct to avoid water. It makes them feel uneasy."

"When Baa saw you walking into the seawater, she thought you were in danger, so she got very anxious and scared."

"She was crying constantly at first to warn you that there was danger and to come back."

"But you didn’t understand what she meant and kept backing into the sea. That made Baa even more frightened, so her cries became more urgent and loud."

"When Baa realized her warnings weren’t working at all and you were still in the dangerous water, she charged in, wanting to save you."

[Oh my god! That is so touching!]

[Waaah, I’m crying again, I’m such a softie. How can a little cat be so heartwarming!]

[I’m serious! I don’t even know what to say. Even though she’s so afraid of water herself...]

Crystal also hadn’t expected the truth to be so moving.

She lowered her gaze and stared blankly at Baa in her arms. The cat’s fur was still slightly damp. She tilted her head up, gazing at Crystal with a pair of bright, sparkling eyes.

"Baa..." Crystal’s voice was choked with emotion, her eyes turning a little red. "How can you be so good!"

Baa tilted her head and meowed, "Crystal is good! Crystal is the best!"

When Crystal heard Baa’s response from Renee, she started crying and laughing at the same time. "You’re so silly and cute!"

Renee let out a small laugh. "You’re both very cute."

"Renee, thank you!" Crystal said gratefully. "Thank you for letting me know that I should cherish Baa even more."

Renee’s gaze was gentle. "You’re welcome. I feel very lucky to have witnessed this reciprocated devotion between you and Baa."

[So pets and owners need to have that reciprocated devotion too!]

[I guess my cat and I were fated to meet but not to be... Anyone in the stream looking to adopt a cat? Free of charge...]

After Crystal logged off, she gifted Bright Stars worth 520.

"What a romantic girl." Renee glanced at the time. It was already past four. She sighed, "Time really flies."

[You’re not going to end the stream, are you?]

[Don’t go, it’s still early!]

[I don’t care! You can’t end the stream until you connect with me!]

[Just stream a little longer~ I still want to watch~]

Renee was indeed thinking of ending the stream, but seeing how desperately her audience was trying to get her to stay, she had to compromise. "Alright, I’ll stream for one more hour."

[Yay! Love you, mwah~]

[The streamer is so nice, she grants all our wishes! Followed!]

[Renee is beautiful and loves us, it’s so great~]

Renee said with an amused laugh, "Alright, alright, enough with the compliments. Let’s continue connecting with viewers."

Connection with "Bear" was successful. A delicate and pretty face appeared on the split screen.
