The Villainess's Heartthrob Script: I Can Talk to Animals

Chapter 390: Kaiser Could Actually Find Its Way Here

Chapter 390: Chapter 390: Kaiser Could Actually Find Its Way Here

Renee Jennings and Sawyer went to a small park together.

After they showed their IDs, the park manager opened the gate to let them in.

"Sawyer, wait for me here," Renee Jennings said softly.

Sawyer nodded. "Okay, be careful. Call me if anything happens."

"Okay." Renee Jennings stepped inside and called out, "Kaiser, are you here?"

She scanned the ground but didn’t see any sign of Kaiser. Her gaze shifted upward, landing on a tree.

"Snake is here." Kaiser’s body was coiled in an S-shape around a branch, looking down at her. Its neck and head were relaxed.

It was quite relaxed, not in an attack posture.

Renee Jennings’s lips curved slightly. "Are you satisfied with the food I prepared for you?"

Kaiser replied, "Satisfied, thank you. Have you found those humans for Snake?"

"I have."

"Take Snake to them."

Kaiser slithered down from the tree and glided in front of Renee Jennings.

"I can, but we have to wait until tonight," Renee Jennings explained. "It’s too bright out now. You’ll be easily spotted if you go out, and some timid humans will get very scared."

Kaiser nodded in understanding. "Okay, so does that mean Snake can only go bite them after dark?"

"Yes, quietly."

"Okay."

"Then wait for me here. I’ll come get you tonight, okay?"

"Okay."

"Alright, I’ll be going then. Your dinner will be delivered shortly."

This time, Renee Jennings didn’t back away. She simply turned and left.

Kaiser watched her leave and said softly, "Thank you."

Renee Jennings stopped in her tracks, turned back to look at him, and smiled. "You’re welcome, my cobra friend."

’Friend?’

Kaiser’s eyes showed deep confusion.

’He and this human were... friends?’

’Unbelievable.’

**

Night fell. A full moon hung high in the sky, casting its bright, pure light over the land.

A black sedan drove into the underground parking garage, slowly pulling into a parking space.

Kyle Morgan got out of the driver’s seat and opened the rear door. A black cobra slithered out gracefully, followed by a pair of long, slender legs stepping out.

Renee Jennings got out of the back seat and said softly, "We’re taking the stairs up, right?"

She, Sawyer, and Kyle Morgan were now in the parking garage of the residential complex where Miles Shepherd lived.

Henry Stark and the medical team were waiting outside the complex’s main gate.

"Right." Kyle Morgan nodded and handed a black leather bag to Renee Jennings. "Have your snake friend get in here for a bit."

They had already agreed on this in the car to avoid the security cameras.

"Okay." Renee Jennings took the bag and crouched down to communicate with Kaiser.

Because they had discussed it beforehand, Kaiser slipped into the bag without hesitation.

Seeing this, Renee Jennings’s fingers curled unconsciously. She was deeply moved.

Kaiser had given her his complete trust. She absolutely could not betray him.

She zipped the bag almost shut, leaving a small opening, and said softly, "We’re going to climb the stairs now."

After speaking, Renee Jennings stood up. "Let’s go."

The three of them entered the fire escape and climbed all the way to the eleventh floor in one go.

They peeked out, found Miles Shepherd’s apartment, and saw that his doorway was cluttered with shoes. The front door was wide open, and they could faintly hear the clamor of loud voices.

Sawyer frowned and whispered, "His neighbors must be really annoyed."

Kyle Morgan instantly understood what she meant. "They probably regret buying this apartment."

"Inconsiderate people." A scornful smile touched Renee Jennings’s lips. "But this makes things convenient for us."

She placed the leather bag on the floor and unzipped it.

Kaiser poked his head out and asked, "Are we here?"

"We’re here," Renee Jennings said. "His door happens to be open. Go straight in, bite Miles Shepherd, and come right back out, understand?"

"Understood." Kaiser guessed what she was worried about. He slithered a short distance, then looked back at her. "Don’t worry, Snake won’t bite innocent humans."

A gentle smile bloomed in Renee Jennings’s eyes, and she gave him a slight nod.

Kaiser caught the scent of his enemy. His head instantly shot up, and his hood flared into a sharp fan, entering a wary, aggressive state.

Renee Jennings and the other two watched him slither into Miles Shepherd’s home, subconsciously holding their breath as they waited.

Soon, a chorus of screams, laced with panic and fear, erupted from the Shepherd residence.

"Ah! A snake!"

"Oh my God, it’s a cobra!"

"AHHHH, it’s that snake again..."

A few minutes later, an ear-splitting shriek rang out.

Kaiser opened his jaws, his brown eyes locked on Miles Shepherd. His long fangs sank viciously into his wrist, venom seeping down the grooves.

Miles Shepherd’s pupils contracted. His whole body turned cold, as if countless icy needles were piercing his limbs and bones.

He never imagined Kaiser could find him here!

’It’s over!’

’Am I going to meet the King of Hell just like Elias Yardley?’

Kaiser was true to his word. After biting Miles Shepherd, he left.

The others thought they were doomed today, but they were shocked when Kaiser actually left...

The old woman rushed to her son’s side, crying out in terror, "Miles, how are you?"

Her daughter-in-law snapped out of her fear and stammered, "I-I’ll call... call an ambulance right now."

The ambulance was already waiting at the complex entrance. Upon receiving the emergency call, the paramedics immediately entered the complex.

At the same time, Renee Jennings and the other two headed downstairs, carrying the leather bag.

The black sedan drove out of the underground garage, speeding through the night toward another location: Wyatt Conway’s home.

Wyatt Conway lived in an urban village. His wife ran a fruit shop downstairs.

Zachary Conway, wearing a baseball cap and a mask, sat in the milk tea shop across from the fruit store.

The stainless steel residential building door next to the fruit shop was pushed open from the inside, and Wyatt Conway walked out, holding the hand of a five or six-year-old girl.

"Honey, watch Sophie for me. I need to go out for a bit." Wyatt Conway led his daughter into the fruit shop.

Mrs. Conway was cracking melon seeds and watching TV. When she heard him, her expression instantly darkened. "Go where? To play cards again?"

Wyatt Conway explained, "Not to play cards, just to have some tea and chat."

"No!" Mrs. Conway slammed her hand on the table, furious. "If you dare go out tonight, I’ll have someone change the locks tomorrow!"

"You..." Wyatt Conway was angry but didn’t dare say more. "You think changing locks is free?"

Mrs. Conway shot him an irritated glare.

Wyatt Conway had no choice but to sit to the side, pull out his phone, and start playing a game.

Mrs. Conway kept glaring at him, finding him more and more irritating. She spit out a mouthful of seed husks. "I must have had some terrible luck in my past life to end up marrying you. You’re completely useless. You can’t earn any money, and all you do all day is gamble and play games with your deadbeat friends. Why don’t you just go and die..."

"What did you say?" Wyatt Conway couldn’t stand hearing the word ’die’ today. His face instantly twisted into a ferocious scowl. "You fucking curse me again and see what happens!"

’He was blessed with great fortune; there was no way he’d end up like that short-lived ghost Elias Yardley!’

Their daughter, Sophie, was so scared she burst into wails.

Mrs. Conway hadn’t expected her useless husband to suddenly snap like this. She quickly pulled their frightened daughter into her arms to comfort her. "Sophie, don’t cry. Don’t be scared. Mommy’s here."

She looked up and glared at Wyatt Conway. "Are you looking to die?"
