Chapter 359: Chapter 359: Five Families Have Already Reported the Case
"Let’s keep in touch on WeChat." After exchanging contacts with Tori Lynn, Renee Jennings stood up and watched her and Yvette Brooks leave.
When Jean saw the two of them approaching, she quickly asked, "What were you talking about that made you so happy?"
"We were just talking about pets and kids," Tori Lynn said with a smile. "She has a Golden Retriever, too. We can arrange for him to play with Owen next time."
"Oh, I see." Jean nodded, taking the stroller from her. "I’ll push Lele."
As Tori Lynn let go of the stroller, she frowned slightly.
Pushing the stroller, Jean walked and said, "Tori, when are you planning to go on that trip?"
"We haven’t decided yet," Tori Lynn sighed. "Now that we have a child, we can’t just pick up and go like we used to."
"But you have me, don’t you?" Jean said with a chuckle. "With me watching Lele, you can rest easy. Go wherever you want."
A flash of disgust crossed Tori Lynn’s eyes, but her tone remained gentle. "You’re right. We’ve been so lucky to have your help this past year, Jean."
"That’s right. All my employers say the same." Jean instantly looked smug.
Yvette Brooks rolled her eyes, cursing inwardly, ’Disgusting woman!’

Tori Lynn provided Jean’s ID information. Renee Jennings sent it to Henry Stark to investigate, and he discovered that the ID was a fake.
A facial recognition search in the police database confirmed that Jean’s real name was Lydia Lawson, a wanted fugitive.
Over the past ten years, five families had filed police reports. While working as a nanny, Lydia Lawson had ruined the lives of five families.
Henry Stark had been following this case, but he had never found any solid leads—until Renee Jennings sent him the information today.
Henry Stark immediately called Renee Jennings.
Renee Jennings had just finished dinner and was in the yard playing with her cats and dogs.
"Henry," she answered. When they saw her take out her phone to talk, the cats and dogs all obediently ran off to play by themselves.
"Renee, we have a hit," Henry Stark said, his tone serious. "The name on the ID, Luna Lee, is fake. Her real name is Lydia Lawson..."
Learning that Lydia Lawson had already victimized five families, Renee Jennings’s brow furrowed, her expression grim. "That’s despicable."
"It is," Henry Stark said in a low voice. "Send me the address. I’ll arrange for surveillance."
"Okay."
"And Lydia Lawson’s contact information. I’ll have the tech team put a wire on her."
"Understood."
After hanging up, Renee Jennings made a WeChat voice call to Tori Lynn.
She answered quickly. "Miss Jennings, hello."
Renee Jennings said, "Miss Lynn, the police need you to provide Luna Lee’s phone number, WeChat account, and your home address."
"Okay, I’ll send them over now," Tori Lynn replied.
Before hanging up, Renee Jennings added a warning, "Don’t let her take Lele out alone."
"I understand." Tori Lynn gripped her phone, her back stiffening. "I’ll be careful."
She looked toward the door, her eyes darkening.
She sat in her bedroom late into the night. At last, there was a sound from outside the door, followed by the turn of the doorknob.
Tori Lynn got up and opened the door. Seeing the man standing in the doorway, her tense nerves finally eased. "Honey, you’re finally back."
"What’s wrong?" Tyson Doyle frowned, looking at her with concern. "What happened?"
Usually, his wife wouldn’t lock the door if he wasn’t home yet. But today, she had.
"Come inside first." Tori Lynn let him into the room, glanced outside, and then locked the door securely.
She turned to meet Tyson Doyle’s questioning gaze and explained in a low voice, "I have something very important to tell you."
"I’m listening."
"Jean is a human trafficker." Tori Lynn pulled up the wanted notice Renee Jennings had sent her. "Her real name is..."
Ten minutes later, after hearing the whole story, Tyson Doyle’s face was dark, his eyes blazing with fury. "Damn it! How dare she go after Lele!"
"Tomorrow, I’ll get her out of the house," Tori Lynn said. "You have someone install hidden cameras."
Renee Jennings said they couldn’t risk tipping her off yet. Tori was afraid that suddenly preventing Lydia Lawson from watching Lele would make her suspicious.
But she still couldn’t rest easy, so installing more cameras to keep an eye on her was the only option.
"Okay." Tyson Doyle nodded. "I’ll make the arrangements now."
The next day, Tori Lynn took Lele out to play, with Lydia Lawson accompanying them, while Tyson Doyle stayed home to have the hidden cameras installed.
Meanwhile, the police were closely monitoring Lydia Lawson’s communications.
Sawyer discovered that Lydia Lawson had sent numerous photos of Lele to one of her WeChat contacts.
Not only that, but this same contact had also transferred money to Lydia Lawson two months prior.
She immediately had the tech team run a check on the user’s identity.
Simon Garrison, male, 42, resident of Lynfell. Married 12 years, no children.
’After being married that long with no children, it’s either by choice or because they can’t have any.’
’Since he had transferred money to Lydia Lawson, the answer was obvious: it was the latter.’
Sawyer quickly reported this discovery to Henry Stark.
Henry Stark immediately called a meeting, after which he contacted the Lynfell police and had them take Simon Garrison into custody.

Tori Lynn was in the living room playing with Lele’s toys. Lydia Lawson brought out a plate of sliced fruit, set it on the coffee table, and clapped her hands toward the baby. "Lele, come let Aunt Jean hold you. Let Mommy take a break."
Tori Lynn suppressed her resentment and forced herself to act normal. She let go of Lele and picked up a fork to spear a piece of fruit.
Holding Lele, Lydia Lawson asked with a smile, "Tori, have you decided when you’re going on vacation yet?"
’The buyer has been hounding me for the past two days,’ she thought. ’They said they can’t wait and are even willing to pay more.’
"Haven’t decided yet." Tori Lynn paused before adding, "Vivi hasn’t confirmed the dates."
"Oh, I see." Lydia Lawson curled her lip. "Some friend, inviting you somewhere without even setting a date."
Tori Lynn said lightly, "I wouldn’t know."
"In that case, can I take Lele to my place for a few days?" Lydia Lawson asked. "I’ll send you videos of Lele every single day."
"We’ll see," Tori Lynn said.
That night, as Tori Lynn was getting ready for bed, she received a voice call from Renee Jennings and immediately sat up straight to answer it.
"Miss Jennings."
"Good evening, Miss Lynn." Renee Jennings stood on her balcony, gazing up at the dark night sky. "The buyer is in custody. We’ve introduced an undercover buyer to Lydia Lawson, so she’ll likely try to complete the transaction within the next few days."
"No wonder she asked me when I was going on vacation tonight."
"You absolutely cannot let her be alone with Lele," Renee Jennings urged.
They had been monitoring Lydia Lawson closely, but aside from the buyer, she hadn’t contacted anyone else.
The goal now was to get Lydia Lawson to contact her network.
"I understand," Tori Lynn replied earnestly.
Renee Jennings added, "There’s one more thing I need your help with."
"What is it?"
"Can you find a way to get your hands on Lydia Lawson’s phone?"
