Chapter 1048: Bring Baihu Out

Chapter 1048: Chapter 1048: Bring Baihu Out

The little tiger’s body was completely surrounded by visible, swirling waves of pure spiritual energy.

The ambient energy continued gathering into a tight vortex around him before flowing aggressively into his small meridians. Clearly, the incredibly dense spiritual energy contained within this floor of the Cultivation Pagoda was providing him with tremendous cultivation benefits.

However, as she stood there watching the volatile breakthrough process unfold, an alarming thought suddenly crossed her mind. The happy smile on her face gradually faded away, replaced by an increasingly serious expression.

They were currently inside the simulated environment of the Cultivation Pagoda. If Baihu successfully and smoothly completed his breakthrough before her officially allotted training time ended, everything would be perfectly fine.

But what if he failed to finish the process before her time ran out?

The security arrays of the Cultivation Pagoda would forcibly and automatically eject everyone from the floor, the exact millisecond the time limit expired. Would suddenly and violently changing physical locations affect Baihu’s delicate breakthrough state? Would the sudden shift in ambient energy interrupt the flow of his meridians? Would it cause him any permanent, severe internal harm?

The more she stood there thinking about the terrifying risks, the more worried and anxious she became.

At that moment, Baishe suddenly emerged from the Mirror World on his own, having sensed the unusual, heavy spiritual fluctuations from inside. The magnificent white python glanced around the clearing before its sharp gaze settled entirely on Baihu. Seeing the little tiger enveloped in the bright, erratic energy of a breakthrough, he immediately understood the situation perfectly.

The moment Bai Xifeng spotted Baishe, she hurried over to his side like a lifeline.

"Baishe, is it actually safe for him to break through inside this pagoda?" Bai Xifeng asked anxiously, her voice laced with panic. "Will it negatively affect his core if he is forcibly transported and forced to change locations halfway through the breakthrough process?"

There was obvious, raw concern trembling in her voice. After all, Baihu was the very first contracted beast she had ever personally bound to her soul. She had also made a solemn, sacred promise to Baihu’s dying mother that she would take absolute, flawless care of her son.

Furthermore, Baihu was still so young and vulnerable. Naturally, she did not want anything bad or dangerous to happen to him under her watch.

Baishe observed the small white tiger quietly for a long, silent moment before finally offering an answer.

"This enclosed pagoda is indeed not the most suitable or stable place for a beast’s breakthrough," Baishe stated honestly.

Bai Xifeng’s heart instantly tightened with dread.

"Fortunately, he is still in the very early, gathering stages of the process." Baishe continued in his usual, calm demeanour.

"Transferring him elsewhere right now should not cause any internal issues or shock to his system." He paused briefly, tilting his head before adding, "The quiet bamboo forest would be a much more suitable and harmonious location for him."

"The bamboo forest?" The moment those words left Baishe’s mouth, only one specific place immediately flashed into Bai Xifeng’s mind.

Ji Yuan’s private bamboo forest back at the Inscriber Division.

"Alright." Bai Xifeng nodded her head decisively, her eyes filled with determination. "I will take him there immediately."

Without a single moment of hesitation, she stepped forward and carefully, gently scooped up the small white tiger into her arms. Baihu remained entirely unconscious and deeply focused throughout the internal breakthrough process, offering absolutely no resistance to her touch.

After placing him safely and securely inside the stable environment of the Mirror World, Bai Xifeng stood up and turned to the rest of her companions.

"Everyone, return to the Mirror World right now!" Bai Xifeng shouted with absolute authority. "We are leaving this place immediately."

Her contracted beasts did not offer a single word of complaint. They already fully understood the immense urgency and danger of the situation. One after another, they obediently dissolved into flashes of light and returned to the safety of the Mirror World.

The moment every single one of them had entered the portal, Bai Xifeng immediately reached into her robes and pulled out her official Cultivation Pagoda token badge. She rapidly injected her raw spiritual energy into the surface of the badge three consecutive times.

The token’s emergency manual withdrawal function activated instantly.

The surrounding forest scenery distorted and blurred into a chaotic whirlpool of colours. The very next moment, Bai Xifeng was forcibly and safely transported out of the Cultivation Pagoda’s automated array.

When her figure suddenly materialised outside in the grand plaza, several nearby students looked over at her in utter shock and surprise. Many of them recognised Bai Xifeng’s face immediately. After all, her legendary recent achievements inside the upper floors of the Cultivation Pagoda had quickly become the single hottest topic of gossip within the entire Tianlong School.

Earlier today, some of these exact students had overheard Bai Xifeng register and pay for ten full, consecutive hours inside the hall. However, barely two hours had actually passed on the clock. Yet, here she was, already emerging from the exit.

Something entirely unexpected must have happened inside. Naturally, the crowd’s intense curiosity was immediately piqued.

Unfortunately for them, before anyone could even take a step toward her to ask questions, Bai Xifeng suddenly dashed forward with explosive speed.

She shot across the stone plaza like a violent gust of wind, her body a total blur as she disappeared into the distance almost instantly. The left-behind students could only stand there, blinking stupidly as they stared at her retreating figure in complete confusion.

"What on earth just happened?"

"Did something go horribly wrong inside the Pagoda trials?"

"Why did she come out so ridiculously early?
