Chapter 603 - Honor That Will Never Be Tarnished
Chapter 603: Honor That Will Never Be Tarnished
Byt the time they returned to the Door of Desolation, a month had gone by.
As Ye Mo landed on the arena of the Asura Dao Palace, the three seniors, along with Mao Mao and Miao Miao were seen returning.
The six of them were heavily injured. There were bloodstains all over Mao Mao’s face.
It was a heart-wrenching sight.
“What happened?” Taiyi Qinglian rushed out of the palace, as did Ye Mo. Using his Light of the Glorious Sun, he began helping them heal their injuries.
With the way they hung their heads, it was apparent that they were bullied.
“Junior Ye Mo, you’ve returned?” Mao Mao said weakly. “We’re going to head inside to heal our injuries.”
“Third Disciple, what happened?” Taiyi Qinglian asked coldly.
“Senior Qinglian, it was those guys from the Human Dao Palace,” Third Senior said, teeth clenched. “Ever since the Big Senior’s death, they’ve come after us looking for trouble. They stole all of the medicine fields that the Asura Dao Palace is in charge of. Initially, they refused to admit their crime. So be it. Yesterday, while Mao Mao and Miao Miao were accounting for the stocks of the medicine field, they bumped into those people of the Human Dao Palace, and they beath them up. I couldn’t let that stand, and brought Junior over to talk things out with them, only to be ambushed by mysterious men dressed in black.”
“Men in black?” Taiyi Qinglian roared angrily. “They must be from the First Heaven Society. They have plenty of people hidden amongst the Six Dao Palaces, and both the Desolate Mountain and the Six Dao Palaces are turning a blind eye to it. I’ll find the palace master of the Human Dao Palace to settle things.”
“Senior Qinglian, there’s no point in talking things out. We can’t prove that those men in black are from the First Heaven Society. Most of the Six Dao Palaces are afraid of antagonizing them, anyway.”
The Human Dao Palace was completely capable of making false accusations as their rebuttal. Furthermore, this was a battle between disciples – there was no need to involve the palace masters.
“The people of the Human Dao Palace are getting out of hand. If not for Senior Mu Sang’s fall, they wouldn’t have dared to behave like that.” Taiyi Qinglian waved her hand in anger, sending out a beam of Qinglian Devil Flame, turning a mountain peak far away into particles in a split moment.
The First Heaven Society was ultimately still an officially recognized authority, like a clan. And the Door of Desolation was ultimately only an institution, hence official clans were allowed to exist within it. And plenty of elders had joined the First Heaven Society – with the Society’s support, their status in the Door of Desolation shot up rapidly.
“Garbage, let me find them.” Ye Mo opened his Cage Dragon Wings, his whole body turning into a beam of light as he shot violently into the northwest direction.
“Junior Ye Mo, don’t be rash,” Taiyi Qinglian shouted. She naturally understood that Ye Mo was trying to make some trouble for the Human Dao Palace.
“Let’s head over as well,” Taiyi Qinglian said, as she burst off after him, following Ye Mo closely. “We can’t let Ye Mo fight alone.”
“Even if Big Senior has fallen, the Asura Dao Palace is not someplace that those Human Dao Palace people can do whatever they want in.”
Clenching his teeth, Ye Mo arrived at the medicine field of the Human Dao Palace, only to see more than ten disciples accounting for items in the field. Circling in the sky, Ye Mo said, “If you’re bright enough, you’d get out of the way.”
“Ye Mo? What are you doing here?”
Among those accounting for items in the medicine field, Ma He and Yang Long stood out, appearing extremely arrogant as they looked at Ye Mo with mocking eyes.
“What am I doing?” Ye Mo asked. “You people of the Human Dao Palace stole items from the Asura Dao Palace’s medicine field. Not only that, you worked together with people from the First Heaven Society to ambush my brothers from the Asura Dao Palace. What do you think I want to do?”
Ye Mo had made up his mind – these Human Dao Palace disciples had crossed a line. If they weren’t punished until they realized Ye Mo’s true powers, they would keep walking all over the Asura Dao Palace.
Now that Mu Sang had fallen, Ye Mo had to startle his opponents using his own strength.
If he made a ruckus and allowed these nobodies to witness his strength, the Asura Dao Palace’s honor would be protected.
“Ma He, Yang Long, I’ve had my eyes on you two for the longest time already.”
A huge amount of authoritative aura appeared all over Ye Mo’s body. With such speed that even his shadow couldn’t be seen, Ye Mo made his move.
There were plenty of highly skilled fighters in the Human Dao Palace’s medicine field – Ma He and Yang Long were in the Fifth Tier of the Transcendence Realm. But even they didn’t see how Ye Mo made his move.
Kacha.
One moment, Ma He and Yang Long were laughing mockingly, but the next, their smiles were gone, replaced with serious expressions.
That was because both of them had their necks choked by Ye Mo and hurled backward. With their cheeks puffing as red as a pig’s liver and their bodies completely powerless, let alone their Transcendence Golden Body – they couldn’t even utilize any martial abilities.
Who were these two people? There were fighters in the Fifth Tier of the Transcendence Ream – any slight movement was capable of exploding a mountain peak. To them, the Ye Mo of the past was nothing but an insignificant insect more fragile than an egg. But now, the two of them were completely suppressed by this very opponent, unable to move at all.
“How are you so strong?”
Ma He had never expected that Ye Mo’s strength would increase by such lengths in just a month.
“Ye Mo, the nerve of you to openly attack Senior Ma He and Senior Yang Long.”
“Quickly, let go of them. You’re openly challenging the honor of the Human Dao Palace. Third Senior won’t let you get away with this.”
An incident like this happening caused a ruckus in the medicine field, with many of the Human Dao Palace disciples left stunned.
Suddenly, a Human Dao Palace disciple rushed over from afar. Looking at Ye Mo, he shouted, “Ye Mo, you’ve got some nerve to attack my Human Dao Palace disciples. What gave you the confidence to do that?”
“If that’s the case, I’ll return them to you,” Ye Mo sneered. Carrying the two of them like sandbags, he hurled them out toward the surrounding disciples.
Accessing the situation, the expressions of one of the disciples changed slightly as he reached out both his hands, attempting to catch Ma He and Yang Long. Following that, a huge amount of force surged out. Their expressions changed drastically as the three of them were sent flying into the sky a hundred meters before they could steady themselves.
“Senior Mo, are you alright?” Yang Long and Ma He’s expressions were somewhat of dread.
Mo Yiran was furious, boiling in anger.
Mo Yiran was the third strongest disciple of the Human Dao Palace, his strength in the Seventh Tier of the Transcendence Realm.
“I’m alright,” Mo Yiran said calmly. “That Ye Mo has improved again – how baffling. But don’t worry. Since he dares to come cause trouble in our medicine garden, I’ll make sure he leaves with his tail between his legs.”
“You must be the Number 3 of the Human Dao Palace, Mo Yiran?” Ye Mo asked fearlessly. “Speak, if you’re the ones who injured my fellow Asura Dao Palace disciples, admit it now. If not, I’ll destroy your whole medicine garden and make sure nothing can grow here ever again.”
“Junior Ye Mo, calm down,” Taiyi Qinglian said as she flew over on a lotus. “He’s too strong for you.”
“Taiyi Qinglian, since Mu Sang is dead, you people should live your lives more humbly and train honestly,” Mo Yiran said. “Wait till you people make a breakthrough in your training, then you can come and make trouble again. A mere newbie dares climb over elite fighters a generation above him? Outrageous.”
“Is that so? Elite fighters a generation above? Our Asura Dao Palace disciples never ever back away from a fight.”
Ye Mo suddenly jumped out, initiating the attack against Mo Yiran.
