Chapter 1912: Babies

“Done beautifully, children. You really are a caring couple. Your future baby will definitely be cute.” Mordenai was extremely pleased with the two players’ work. It was especially because of their interaction when they were feeding the dragons that he said this.
“Ba…by…” Lu Li and Water Fairy were dumbstruck, as they looked at each other not knowing what to do or say.
That old Lu Li began to get feverish. Although he was already at this stage of life, he had never thought about this question. Could it be that this was that sort of thing that those ancient people chastised? As for Water Fairy, by now, her face was already blushing. Who would’ve said that they wanted to have her baby?
What a frightening topic!
“Then…we won’t talk about this for now. What do we have to next?
Lu Li really didn’t want to keep causing Water Fairy embarrassment, so he quickly changed the topic.
“Friend, the Nether Dragon’s Palladium Neltharaku is soaring in the heights above. It seems like your love from the dragon children has stirred him up. He is willing to see you now; send him my greetings. I hope you are able to help him with some things. This way, you will gain the friendship of the Nether Dragons,” Mordenai said. He was finally finished with his nonsense.
“In the sky?” Water Fairy asked as she raised her head with a face of confusion.
How could they search for something in the sky?
“Oh, I forgot to point out that although Neltharaku roams all over the place, the path that he patrols is fixed to the north of Dragonmaw Stronghold. He has a ginormous body – it blocks out the sun. I always tell him it’s because he eats too much. Such a big body really prevents him from flying,” Mordenai joked.
Lu Li had to take a bit of effort before he finally figured out the rough whereabouts Neltharaku.
He and Water Fairy came to the area near the coordinates of Neltharaku was and summoned a mount – it was the Cupid’s Love flying horse. The two of them rode it, flying into the sky. As for why they didn’t each ride their own one, or why Lu Li didn’t turn into a crow, those were just the thoughts of people who were single.
“Oh? What do I see? A horse that can fly?”
From the dazzling white light of the flying horse, Neltharaku realised that there were two Night Elves on it.
“So it’s you. Thank you for all you’ve done for the drakes; I saw all of it.”
“The dragon babies are really cute. We’re happy to do a little something for them,” Water Fairy said.
“Yes, every lifeform is cute,” Neltharaku laughed kindly as he lowered his head.
“I heard that the dragon babies met with some trouble. Perhaps we can lend a hand?” Lu Li asked. He had to get the conversation back on topic. Farming mounts was a time-consuming activity, and Lu Li and Water Fairy weren’t really people with free time to spare.
With the time they spent chatting to the NPC, they could have done something nice between themselves.
Neltharaku’s story wasn’t new anyway.
In the second Orc War, Illidan found the once-imprisoned the Red Dragon queen Alexstrastra and sent for the Red Dragon forces of the warring Dragonmaw clan Shaman Zuluhed, bringing them to Shadow Moon Valley to establish Dragonmaw Stronghold.
In the face of three strong forces, the Nether Dragons had no choice but to surrender, enduring the deployment of the Dragonmaw orcs. Zuluhed grabbed away Neltharaku’s partner Karynaku to repress the bargaining chip of the Nether Dragon’s resistance.
He had tried many times before to rescue his own mate but failed. Now, Neltharaku could only ask for the help of players.
“You must be able to rescue your own wife,” Water Fairy said.
At a time like this, girls were emotional. As for the fact that the Nether Dragons had been enslaved, she completely overlooked it.
“For a while, I also couldn’t think of any way to save my children and partner. Child, make the most of my time. If you can, please go Dragonmaw Stronghold, towards the east of the Nether plain, and kill those Dragonmaw orcs. The turmoil that you will create should be able to impede their plans,” Neltharaku finally requested.
Lu Li nodded to show that it was all no problem.
“You must be careful – some of the dragons have already had their intelligence corrupted by the Dragonmaw Orcs. Only death is waiting for them. I allow you to end their lives along with all the others,” Neltharaku said in an anxious voice.
It wasn’t that hard a quest. These Fel Orcs and Nether Dragons were roughly five to a group. When players were first levelling up, no one dared to provoke them, but when they reached level 70, as well as being mostly equipped with level 70 Epic equipment, killing them still wasn’t a piece of cake.
As such, Lu Li and Water Fairy entered right into Dragonmaw Stronghold. There were even more monsters inside.
“I’ll resist the dragons. You can just deal damage.”
This was how the two Thieves fought monsters. If there were a lot of monsters, they needed someone to aggro them.
However, this didn’t mean that they all had to be aggroed. The two of them Stealthed towards a group of monsters, with each person Sapping one of them. Then, Lu Li would Cheap Shot one of the easy targets, and three monsters would lock onto him. Water Fairy would Cheap Shot one of them, and so the two of them would each control a monster. There would only be one that could attack Lu Li.
In fighting against these mixed ordinary and Elite monsters, they both had the power to control them until death.
“How many monsters do we have to farm in total?” Water Fairy asked. Seeing that they had already slain ten Fel Orcs, and Lu Li still hadn’t stopped, she knew that he had a new plan.
“It’s best to keep going until there’s no more Reputation left,” Lu Li said.
The Nether Drakes were considered the easiest to farm for a mount.
However, the game couldn’t make it too easy for everyone to get the dragon. The Nether Dragons’ Reputation was extremely hard to farm, so if they had a chance to, they should make the most of it. In Lu Li’s last life, he saw a simple guide related to this..
It was a shame that when he got the mount, it was unable to be traded freely.
Moreover, with everyone able to farm Reputation by doing quests, they weren’t worth much when they were sold anyway. It didn’t do anything to help with treating his sister’s illness.
There were a lot of drakes in Dragonmaw Stronghold. Even Lu Li and Water Fairy didn’t find it easy to farm them.
However, there wasn’t a lot of pressure in farming monsters. Nearby, there were a few small teams farming monsters to level up.
No one was competing with Lu Li and Water Fairy for these few waves of monsters. The rate at which they were newly spawned was just right for them to farm.
In the middle of this, Lu Li’s observant eyes saw a giant monster which patrolled over. This monster held two Windseeker swords and rode on an iron-armoured Netherwing dragon.
A Boss?
Lu Li couldn’t remember what Boss there was in Dragonmaw Stronghold. Since this guy didn’t look like a friendly NPC, then who was it?
“What do we do?” Water Fairy asked as she hastened her attack speed, but they evidently had no way to clear the monsters in front of them before this Boss came over.
“Don’t panic. We’ll sound it out first.”
Lu Li actually wasn’t flustered at all. As long as it wasn’t a Wild Boss, it wouldn’t have the power to just kill them in an instant. If it was a rare Quasi-Boss, then they could simply kill it and be finished with it.
