Chapter 1995: Enemies on a Narrow Road (7)

“You don’t know? Who are you lying to? We just saw that undead creature coming in this direction, how could you not know where it went?” Another student from the Royal Academy stepped forward and looked at the members of the Flaming Red Squad with a bad mood.

“We just arrived here, too.” Zhanye exercised patience as he said.

The teenager, who seemed to be the leader of the group, looked at the situation in the camp and raised his eyes to meet Zhanye’s.

“Is this your camp?”

“Yes.” Zhanye answered.

“What are you doing here?” The teenager asked again.

“It has nothing to do with you. We really don’t know where the undead creature went. If there’s nothing else, please leave.” Zhanye did not intend to say anything more to these “proud sons of heaven”. They rushed back in the middle of training. After tidying up everything here, they still needed to go back to continue their training.

The other side raised an eyebrow, apparently not expecting that Zhanye would actually ask the visitors to take their leave.

“Fengling, there seems to be something wrong with that little child over there.” One sharp-eyed student from Royal Academy discovered Taotie, who was standing behind the Flaming Red Squad.

The teenager named Fengling lifted his eyes slightly and looked in the direction of Taotie. Shile immediately moved and stepped to tightly hide Taotie behind him.

“What is that?” Fengling looked coldly at Zhanye.

“It’s none of your business.” Zhanye said in a cold voice.

Fengling’s delicate face was covered with a sneer. He looked at Zhanye and said, “There are three kinds of undead creatures: low, intermediate, and high. Low and intermediate undead creatures are all beasts with low intelligence. But among the high undead creatures, there are some powerful beings who have lived for countless years. They are smart and cunning, and have the ability to incarnate as human beings.” Zhanye’s brows were wrinkled into a frown as he looked at the other side cautiously.

He had heard about some high undead creatures being able to incarnate, but it was only in the legends. In order to reach that level, high undead creatures must have tens of thousands of years of life, and their innate conditions should be very good; only then would it be possible.

At least, in the past few thousand years, there had never been such an aberrant high undead creature in the Howling Abyss.

But then, Fengling suddenly brought up this legend. He must have recognized Taotie as the kind of high undead creature that could incarnate as a human.

“Whether it’s any of my business, it’s not you who has the nal say. That high undead creature is our target. Please hand it over.” Fengling’s words sounded modest, but the tone of his voice did not show any sense of modesty.

“He’s not the high undead creature.” Zhanye denied.

“Since he’s not, then let us look. Even if the high undead creature were in human form, its aura would not change and it could only temporarily suppress it. As long as we look closely, we will

know.” Fengling let out a chuckle and thought that Zhanye’s denial was very weak.

How huge was a high undead creature? How could it disappear before their sight for no reason?

The only possibility was that it already had the ability to incarnate.

And these undead teenagers must be hiding it here right now!

Zhanye clenched his teeth. He could denitely not show the little fellow to Fengling. Even though the little fellow was not an undead creature, he was not an undead either!

He was a human being. Based on the attitude of the undead towards human beings, Zhanye could imagine that if he brought the little fellow to this group of guys from the Royal Academy, they would surely discover the real identity of the little fellow!
