Chapter 99 - Sleeping On The Bed Together
Chapter 99: Sleeping On The Bed Together
Little Lin still did not know what was up with his brother when he heard his brother sneer coldly. Then, he pinched his face again. Although he did smile, there was barely any warmth in his eyes. “Trouble Lin, you’re really rubbing it in.”
Little Lin was very confused. Had he said anything wrong? Hadn’t his brother always been a clean freak who claimed that meaningless kissing was merely a way to spread germs?
Why was he reacting like this today?
Little Lin touched his pinched cheek and turned his small body in faint puzzlement. As he watched his brother stand up and turn off the light for him, he was still a little baffled.
Feng Nai and Mo Bei had so far found excuses not to enter the bedroom until it was time to go to sleep.
Now that both of them no longer had any more excuses, it was impossible not to enter the bedroom.
Not staying in the same room at this time would be evidence that every move of theirs earlier had been an act.
Hence, everything had led to this situation.
Mo Bei hugged a blanket with an aloof profile and stated coolly, “When I came out of Little Lin’s room earlier, I saw an empty room next to it.”
Feng Nai turned his head and tugged open the collar of his school uniform while replying in a casual tone, “Little Brother, did you really think that our house has no guest rooms when it’s such a big house?”
Mo Bei’s long legs paused.
Feng Nai threw his jacket aside and undid the cuffs of his sleeves. “The reason my mom did this was merely to test whether the two of us are truly on good terms or pretending to be on good terms.”
That explained everything.
Mo Bei set the blanket down.
Meanwhile, Feng Nai had already walked to his closet and directly pulled open his shirt.
Mo Bei abruptly shifted her line of vision to another spot.
However, Feng Nai did not find anything wrong with being bare-chested.
Instead, he bent slightly and took a bottle of mineral water out of the mini-fridge at his bedside. His light-colored eyes looked up slightly at Mo Bei. “Let’s play a finger-guessing game.”
Mo Bei was still not used to looking at a boy’s naked chest. However, if she did not look, it would seem suspicious. She could only meet his eyes calmly. “Finger-guessing game?”
“Whoever loses will sleep on the floor.” Feng Nai chuckled, although the arc of his lips was still cold as he walked slightly closer. “Little Brother, did you really think you would sleep with me?”
Mo Bei looked up with an aloof expression. “You think too much, Captain.”
“You better not have thought so.” Feng Nai casually lifted his right hand and breathed out, emitting a minty scent. “Let’s have an all-in-one game.”
Mo Bei also stretched out her hand.
A second later, Feng Nai, who had narrowed his eyes for a moment, was about to go tug at the blanket on the bed.
Suddenly, he saw the person beside him single-handedly lay the blanket he was holding in his arms on the floor. His handsome profile was emotionless. “This is your home. I won’t be a wrangling guest who robs the host’s place. Besides, I was the one who agreed to this dinner.”
Initially, Feng Nai had indeed thought that he should not have come to this dinner.
However, he had still come to the Fengs, knowing that getting along with each other would be awkward.
Now, Feng Nai believed that the other person had done so simply out of pure liking for his brother and reluctance to disappoint him.
Feng Nai glanced over and bent down directly, picking up the blanket from the floor and tossing it onto the bed. His voice was still laid-back. “You have a competition the day after tomorrow. If sleeping on the floor affects your condition that day, who would be responsible?”
As soon as he said this, he turned the pillow on the bed horizontally and placed it in the middle of the bed. His gaze was cold. “Don’t cross the line. If you cross the line, I will punch you.”
Did this mean that they were sleeping on the bed together?
