747 Chapter 747 Carriage Inspection
747 Chapter 747 “Carriage Inspection“
Li Shi Ying let Jiu Wei and the other two to get inside the carriage before she followed after. The girl closed the carriage door and sat down leisurely while watching Jiu Wei, Jiao Cong Ming plus Long Ao Zhen’s new appearance with great interest.
She was sure that along the way there would be several guards checking their carriage. A good thing she made the talisman to last for 30 minutes with this...let’s see if they would be caught or not!
Long Ao Zhen sat next to Li Shi Ying close to the window while Jiao Cong Ming and Jiu Wei sat on the seat across them. The man glanced at Li Shi Ying who was looking at him and the other two with a thought.
His bunny...she looked like she enjoyed this! But he didn’t ah...he couldn’t even cuddle his bunny since this talisman forces him to follow his role as an old man. For 30 minutes...he could only sit down and sleep?! This is not fun!
While Long Ao Zhen grumbled to himself, Jiao Cong Ming and Jiu Wei were talking happily like an old friend. Maybe it’s the power of the talisman which forces them to get into their roles but those two looked like a mini couple.
So cute!
Li Shi Ying couldn’t help but grin seeing that two interact. Somehow she had a feeling that if she ever had children here, it would be just like Jiao Cong Ming and Jiu Wei now. Of course, their appearance would be different but the vibe must be like them.
....wait why the hell she thought about children now?! She still had so many problems to solve at the moment. The thought of having children shouldn’t even exist! This must be because of Long Ao Zhen’s word this morning.
While Li Shi Ying tried hard to focus on the current mission, the poor coachman outside was about to cry. It was none other than Xi Xue! He was already so happy when his master called him out and told him to transform into a normal-looking man.
He thought he would also stay inside the carriage replacing Jiu Wei but who knows that he became the coachman instead? He, the last one of his race, a rare vampire beast...ended up being a coachman! Isn’t this absurd?? Master...please use him for a more important job!!
----
After travelling for 15 minutes, Li Shi Ying suddenly saw a row of guards a few meters in front of them. There were blockades and such, clearly meant to stop people from continuing their journey.
"Stop! Carriage inspection" One of the guard waved his hand signalling the crab carriage to stop. Seeing this, Xi Xue didn’t hesitate to stop the carriage with a smile on his face.
So this is the inspection his master predicted. As expected, the guards really searched the whole town to find their crown prince! Especially the road leading outside the capital would be guarded by more guards than usual.
Their carriage was heading outside the capital city, to a small sea forest where the ancient ruin located. No wonder there were a lot of guards here but...why the hell they ride on a seahorse? Is that a replacement for a horse? Looks funny!!
"Good morning sir" Xi Xue lowered his head as he greets the guard. There were around 10 guards on foot, surrounding the carriage while the other guards were stopping other people from going forward.
"Open your carriage door" The guard raised his chin high as he ordered Xi Xue to open the crab carriage door. He didn’t know that the one he was ordering around was a vampire.
Xi Xue wanted to kill the guard right away but remembering what his master said, he bears with it. The man quickly gets off and helped the guard to open the carriage door.
"What’s going on?" When the door was opened, Li Shi Ying with her superb acting skill, showed a surprised look on her face. The girl quickly ’protected’ Long Ao Zhen when her body was trembling out of ’fear’.
Truly looked like a filial granddaughter, isn’t she?
"Carriage inspection!" The guard didn’t say anything than that making Xi Xue doubt whether this guard is a controlled doll or a human. All he could say is ’carriage inspection’!
"P-please go ahead" Li Shi Ying gripped Long Ao Zhen’s hand with a worried expression as she let the guard come to check the carriage. Jiao Cong Ming and Jiu Wei too, looked frightened even though they didn’t plan on doing so.
This talisman really made them go all out into their role!
Jiao Cong Ming actually wanted to shout telling the guard that he was the missing crown prince but somehow his mouth was locked with the power of the talisman. He could only look at the guard with watery eyes just like a child’s normal reaction in times like this.
"Hmm...two children...servants...one old man and a young girl...are you going on a family trip?" The guard looked around the carriage and after scanning through all four of them, he asked Li Shi Ying for confirmation.
This group seemed normal. There’s no way the crown prince could be in this carriage!
