Chapter 1012
Chapter 1012 – Chapter 1002: Heading South
Neuss embedded the metal chip into the body of a blood firefly that came out at night to hunt for food. This blood firefly was as big as a fist. Although it was a low-level monster but its range of activity was wide. It was often accompanied by powerful monsters, the blood firefly attracted other monsters with its own blood-red light. The powerful monsters around it were responsible for killing them. The leftovers left behind by the monsters would be the food source for the blood firefly to survive.
Dudian took the group and headed towards the south.
If there was an opportunity, dudian would like to see what kind of creatures the trolls were. would there be other human empires there?
After entering the wasteland, the number of monsters they met along the way increased significantly. There was no need for Dudian to act. Neuss, Barton, Sergei and others rushed to kill them, however their strength was not inferior to the wing king of the family. When Dudian was the wall master, he had robbed the top secret fighting skills and many precious fighting skills of the three families. Not only did he learn them but he had also taught them to Neuss and others, they had learned more complex and rich things. However the time for learning was limited.
“Young master, there is a black wasteland ahead. It hasn’t been developed yet.”Neuss looked at the map. He had prepared a map of the wasteland outside the giant wall when he knew that Dudian was ready to leave, it detailed the situation of the Hunter family’s stronghold and Monster Branch.
Dudian nodded slightly: “Go straight ahead.”
The undeveloped wasteland was quite dangerous for the Hunter family, but it was nothing in front of him. The strength of Neuss and the others was enough to sweep the place. After all, this place was close to the giant wall and the probability of the appearance of Abyss level monsters was very low.
Not long after they entered the black wasteland, they met a monster that was four to five stories tall. It was like a small hill, crawling on the ground. Its back was uneven, like jagged rocks. If it was not for the heat source vision, they would have mistaken it for a small hill, they would have mistaken it for a protruding hill.
“Hunting a level 62 Rock Mountain Beast, inner wasteland…”behind Noyce, a woman in a black leather coat wearing a mask sensed the monster and reported to Noyce in a low voice.
Neuss’s eyes narrowed. The Rocky Mountain Beast was known for its terrifying defense. It was almost impossible to hurt it. The only way to defeat it was to attack the splitter or the dragon.
Dudian flew over. This time he didn’t give Neuss and the others a chance to practice. It would be a waste of time.
Dudian saw the Rocky Mountain Beast move a bit as he felt Neuss approaching. However it quickly continued to crawl on the ground. He didn’t know if it wanted to wait for Neuss to sneak attack or if it knew that the enemy wasn’t easy to deal with.
Dudian gently landed on the back of the beast. He felt that the beast seemed to tremble slightly. He smiled and a black blade suddenly extended from its spine, it was like a black lightning bolt that quickly entered the back of the Beast and quickly extended to the bottom.
Roar!
A low roar was heard mixed with pain.
There was a flash of black light as it pulled back. A ten meter long gash was created and blood bloomed.
The Rock Beast’s body was cut in the middle but it didn’t die for a moment. It screamed in pain as its body shook. It struggled to get up from the ground but fell down after a few steps.
Dudian waved to Neuss and others: “Hurry up and catch up.”
Neuss, Barton and the others quickly caught up with him.
It was the first time that the confidants behind them saw Dudian attack. They were stunned as they thought that Dudian was a monster of the inner wilderness level. How could he die just like that?
Although they had heard that Dudian was very strong and had killed the master. But it was just a rumor. They didn’t see it with their own eyes. They knew that the rumors were exaggerated. They only knew that Dudian usurped the position of the wall master, the real master of the giant wall, Aristotle, was not in the giant wall. But now it seemed that Dudian’s strength was not much worse than that of the master of the giant wall!
Neuss and the others passed by. The monster was still lying in a pool of blood. It didn’t die immediately nor could it move. It could only wait for the other monsters to smell the blood and eat it.
Dudian flew above everyone’s head. It didn’t take long for him to meet another level 40 mine wolf. Its attack was swift and fierce. There was a slight biological electric current on its claws which could paralyze its prey.
Neuss and Sergei took the lead and rushed out. They quickly surrounded the mine wolf and killed it.
Dudian and the others finally left the black wasteland at around 12 pm. They killed hundreds of monsters along the way. Almost half of them were pioneer level monsters. They also met two overlord level monsters which were killed by Dudian.
“I didn’t meet any legendary monsters.”Neuss smacked his mouth. It was the first time he felt that the scenery outside the giant wall was so beautiful. Although he had met many monsters along the way but he felt that he was safer than ever, including their confidants, no one had sacrificed. On the contrary, he had obtained four rare named monsters. Of course, there were many ordinary named monsters and rare named monsters. But his trusted aides were equipped with the magic marks of rare named monsters, therefore he didn’t pick up the rare named monsters and directly threw them away.
Dudian smiled: “We will meet them when we go to the Abyss.”
Neuss wryly smiled: “It’s better not to meet them. It’s too dangerous.”Although he knew that Dudian had the ability to kill legendary monsters but they had a long way to go so it was best for them to avoid fighting, if they were injured then there would be a chain reaction or even a team wipe out.
“Two hundred miles ahead is the edge of the Abyss.”The woman in black leather reported to Neuss.
Neuss nodded and looked at dudian: “Are we going to rest here? Isn’t it too dangerous to travel in the Abyss at night?”
Dudian smiled: “It doesn’t matter. There are different levels of the abyss as long as we are not close to the magic pit.”
“Magic Pit?”Neuss was stunned.
Dudian told them about the abyss as he went forward. He told them about the name of the God’s kingdom and the border outside the God’s kingdom. Neuss, Sergei, Barton and the others were stunned. They didn’t expect the world to be so vast. It seemed that Sylvia was nothing but a small corner of the world!
An hour later they came to the edge of the abyss. There were signs and flags on the ground. However the words on the signs were blurred after the baptism of wind and frost, it was covered with dark green mold.
They looked at the front and vaguely felt that the world ahead seemed to have become deeper and darker. The light seemed to have been swallowed by a lot. They couldn’t help but feel a bit nervous.
Dudian didn’t stop and flew straight past them.
Neuss, Sergei and others hesitated for a moment. They quickly followed after them. They looked around and didn’t dare to fall behind.
Dudian didn’t dare to let his guard down as he came to the Abyss region. Golden light flashed in his eyes from time to time. He used x-ray vision to observe the surroundings. Although he wasn’t afraid of the monsters lurking around, but he was afraid that the monsters would attack Neuss and the others first.
Dudian didn’t meet the “Despair forest”after crossing the border of the Abyss. There was a vast plain in front of him. There were mountains at the end of the plain.
There were no traces of monsters on the seemingly endless plain. There were piles of bones of giant beasts and strange birds gliding over. They picked up the worms and flew away.
“Eh?”Dudian’s eyes focused as he looked at the grassland in front of him. There were no foreign objects on the grassland but there was a light colored heat source reaction flowing in the grassland, if it wasn’t for his sensitive heat source vision, he wouldn’t even be able to detect it.
