First Confrontation
They were very cooperative during the photoshoot. Perhaps it was because of Fang He. After all, they were both spokespersons. Fang He had just received the award for Best Actor and was the most popular male artist now. She had to show him respect.
As for Jian Dan, how could she let her off so easily?
She found fault with Jian Dan again during lunchtime. “What’s wrong with you guys? Don’t you know that Xiaolin has been trying to lose weight recently? This meat is so greasy? Look at this scrambled egg. It’s too oily. And the vegetables, don’t you know that Xiaolin doesn’t eat garlic?” There were only three dishes in a bento box.
Was the rice the next complaint?
Jian Dan thought to herself.

Jian Dan was in charge of lunch. It was obvious that she was out to make things difficult for Jian Dan.
Jian Dan maintained a professional attitude. She smiled and said gently, “Then, Miss Mei, what do you want to eat? Shall I get something else for you again?”
“Get a salad for Xiaolin. No dressing, just add some vinaigrette and black pepper. Also, a cup of Americano without milk or sugar. Get some fruits—papaya. It’s low-fat and good for the skin.” Mei Xiaolin’s manager was not polite at all.
“Alright, please wait. I’ll go get them now.” Jian Dan gave a professional bow and left.
You still want to eat papayas? You look like a papaya.
This was nothing Jian Dan could not handle.
Jian Dan got everything Mei Xiaolin’s manager requested as quickly as possible.
Of course, even if Jian Dan had gotten everything, they would still continue to find fault with her. “Why is the papaya slice so big? How is Xiaolin going to eat it?” The manager said in a caustic tone.
Looking for trouble? No worries, she would counter every move!
“Please hold on.” Jian Dan took out a fruit knife from her bag and cut the papaya into very small pieces. She placed it in front of Mei Xiaolin. “Miss Mei, please enjoy.”
“I suddenly remembered that Xiaolin is about to take a photo. Eating papayas will easily smear her lipstick. Get papaya juice.” The manager was being difficult again.
“No problem.” Like magic, Jian Dan took out a small portable juicer from her bag. “Miss Mei, do you want it thin or thick? Or do you want a papaya milkshake? I even specially prepared low-fat milk for you.” Jian Dan looked at Mei Xiaolin and asked with a smile.
Let’s see what else you have up your sleeve.
Seeing that Jian Dan was not put in a tight spot at all, her tone became even more unfriendly. “Papaya milkshake!”
Oh, was she running out of tricks? Wasn’t she very capable? Continue then.
With your limited intelligence, you’re no match for me.
“Alright!” Jian Dan was not angry. She prepared the papaya milkshake and handed it to Mei Xiaolin. Of course, Jian Dan also thoughtfully prepared a straw.
Before filming began in the afternoon…
“The coffee is already cold. How can we drink it?” Mei Xiaolin said as she held the cup of coffee that had been bought in the afternoon.

“Don’t you know how to do your job? Don’t you know that Xiaolin must have a cup of coffee after a meal? Otherwise, she will be listless. If this delays the progress, you will be responsible,” the manager continued.
“Don’t worry, it won’t delay the filming.” Jian Dan took out another thermos from her bag. “This is an Americano without sugar or milk. This thermos is new, and I’ve already disinfected it, so you can drink it without worry.”
Jian Dan had long expected that there would be more trouble, so she had already anticipated all the situations.
Jian Dan did everything flawlessly. The manager was very angry, but he had nowhere to vent.
Looking at their angry expressions, Jian Dan was silently happy.
Fight with her? Hmph! She was a genius with an IQ of 140.
When the two of them went for the shoot, Mengmeng pulled Jian Dan aside and gave her a thumbs up. “Jian, well done!”
“Of course. It’s a piece of cake for me.”
