"Honey, I bought some for you too, take a look!" Bai Jing took out her purchases from a bag, even more than what Liao Xinyue bought for Jian Hui.
"Thank you, darling, I love them!" Yin Zhihao placed a gentle kiss on Bai Jing’s cheek.
Jian Dan and Xia Mengjiao exchanged a glance and understood instantly.
"No showing off your affection before meals! We don’t want to lose our appetite later!" Jian Dan said.
"Exactly, exactly, it’s fine during regular times but before meals? How are we supposed to eat!" Xia Mengjiao chimed in.
As soon as they finished speaking, they noticed Chu Liyuan and Chu Liyuan looking directly at them.
"Uncle, why are you staring at me like that? Is there something on my face?" Jian Dan smiled and asked Chu Liyuan.
"Chu Liyuan, what are you doing? Is there a flower on my face?" Xia Mengjiao avoided Chu Liyuan’s gaze, trying her best to speak in her usual tone.
"Don’t change the subject, where’s mine?" Chu Liyuan and Chu Liyuan said exactly the same thing in perfect synchronization.
Jian Dan and Xia Mengjiao exchanged another knowing look.
"Oh dear, why does my stomach hurt suddenly? I need to go to the restroom!" Jian Dan suddenly clutched her stomach and spoke.
"How could you be in pain? Let me help you to the restroom!" Xia Mengjiao promptly stood up and supported Jian Dan’s arm.

Xin Yue only needs to buy clothes for my brother, Bai Jing doesn’t need to buy too much since the baby isn’t born yet, one or two pieces are enough. But look at me and Xia Mengjiao, Xia Mengjiao has to buy clothes for two kids, from inside out, buying two sets for each already means a dozen pieces.

Just as Jian Dan was awaiting judgment, a lifesaver arrived, and the waiter was timely in delivering the dishes.

Throughout the meal, Chu Liyuan didn’t say a word but frequently added Jian Dan’s favorite food to her bowl.
After the meal, with the restaurant’s help, they exited through the back door, finally ditching the annoying tagalongs.
Everyone but Bai Jing and Yin Zhihao returned to the villa.
Who would have thought that as soon as they entered the door, Chu Liyuan and Chu Liyuan synchronized perfectly in slinging their wives over their shoulders to head into their respective rooms...
