Chapter 1260: Human Ancestor’s Left Ear

Chapter 1260: Human Ancestor’s Left Ear

Grand saints were the greatest beings in all worlds. These visitors have heard of Grand Saint Nuwa and feared her.

“If Grand Saint Nuwa were back, I would not dare to be here right now. However, just a clay ear made by her is far from enough to scare me. It appears you have no concept of our strength.” The crow saintess inside her crimson nest said.

A divine crow flew out and spread its colossal wings. Its eyes gleamed with a dark light as it spewed lightning bolts.

This crow had an immemorial sacred bloodline and feasted on saints for subsistence. The saintess took it in as a fledgling.

Dao laws flew out of the ear and turned into special techniques, pushing the crow back.

A diagram of the early people formed above the ear - a form of the highest dao law.

“Pluff!” It sliced the crow’s back; feathers fell to the ground.

The saintess scowled and entered the battle herself.

“Rumble!” Space was torn apart as the fight entered another dimension. Saint laws engulfed the battlefield and obscured vision.

A demi-saint could only try to stay alive near the battlefield. Any remnant wave could obliterate them.

The invaders couldn’t believe how an ear could stop their saint and divine crow. How terrifying would the whole statue be?

“This is the power of Human Ancestor?” Feiyun felt the same way.

Saints always stood at the top of the pyramid. However, this ear fought against two saints simultaneously.

“Saint Nuwa was the greatest existence, born alongside our world. Human Ancestors inherited their Life Dao, born from the essence of all things. When Saint Nuwa chose to mend the heaven dao with her body, only Human Ancestor and Supreme Ancestor were left. Human Ancestor focused on stabilizing the chaos, a great contributor. According to the legend, men and women rose after each of his steps. Humans only reigned after the ancestor’s disappearance.” The turtle explained.

“Creating lives with each step? Incredible.” Feiyun couldn’t believe it.

“Human Ancestor came first, and then humans. This is the reason behind the ancestor’s title. Of course, these are just records from Grave Palace’s scripture. It can’t be verified.” The turtle said.

“Human Ancestor came after Saint Nuwa who was a half-demon, half-human. She must be from another world then.” Feiyun thought to himself.

“Bam!” Space shattered again and a groan could be heard.

The divine crow was grievously injured with bloody wounds everywhere. It ran back to the nest.

Its blood rained down and killed many aquatic creatures. There was just too much embedded power within its blood.

The crow saintess also ran back to the nest and immediately retreated out of the ocean.

“Incredible.” The saintess no longer dared to get close.

The ear returned above the well, looking as normal as ever. Alas, no one dared to underestimate it.

“Greetings, Human Ancestor.” The six priests knelt and showed utmost respect.

The ear let out a sigh.

Feiyun felt a chill afterward. He looked at the well and asked: “Did you hear anything coming from the well?”

“No, only Human Ancestor’s sigh.” The turtle answered.

“No, it’s something else...” Feiyun was interrupted by quakes emanating from the well.

The runes on the wall started flashing and rotating.

“Crack!” A crack appeared in the well.

A hoarse and hushed laughter could be heard by all. Even the invaders became afraid.

“Abyssal Lord is still alive?” Many had this feeling.

The turtle turned pale and slapped himself: “Shit, my damn mouth. If Abyssal Lord is still alive, it’s over. Even Immemorial Divine Phoenix couldn’t kill him back then.”

However, the turtle’s mentioning of the phoenix seemed to enrage whatever was beneath. The cracks became massive, spreading for several hundred miles.

The ear erupted with light and tried to keep the well together.

“Something’s changing, maybe Abyssal Lord is coming back to life somehow, we have to leave now!” Feiyun told the priests.

They nodded and followed Feiyun out of the ocean.

Once they were ten million miles away, the whole ocean became frozen. Anything that didn’t leave fast enough became trapped inside.

“Crack!” Black clouds escaped from an opening and gathered in the air.

The mud ear gave chase, releasing massive destruction. The clouds escaped into the crow saintess’ nest, devouring the divine crow in the blink of an eye. The saintess, fortunately, escaped just in time.

The cloud had no intention of lingering and broke through space to escape. The ear continued the pursuit.

Although both were gone, the ocean remained chaotic with remnant saint energies and became a forbidden zone.

“Can Abyssal Lord be alive?” One priest shuddered.

“No, that cloud is strong but not to that level.” A different one said.

“What do you know? A grand saint will be weakened after being sealed for that long. It devoured the divine crow earlier, I’m guessing that’s to replenish lost vitality.” The turtle said.

“I’ll do some investigation.” Feiyun summoned eight cauldrons to form a formation.

He melted the surface and delved down again. Unfortunately, the landscape had changed entirely and he couldn’t find the well.

“Rumble!” Suddenly, he lost stability as if the whole world was shifting. He felt the ocean floor slowly rising.
