They have set to meet up in the suburb.
It was a British style coffeeshop fairly close to where they lived.
Gu Shishi decided to meet up with this Big Uncle of hers after hearing about the address.
A person’s sincerity and motivation could be seen from the location that they have picked.
Where they lived right now was 1.5 hour+ car ride away from the center of the city. If they were coming from the Gu family residence, they were looking at 2.5-hour car ride.
This Big Uncle of hers was willing to sacrifice his own time to save hers.
Regardless of why he wanted to meet up, Gu Shishi was moved by his intention.
“Do you know this Uncle Gu?”
Curiously Gu Shishi asked Mr. Huo, who had not stopped fiddling with his cellphone since they had gotten into their car.
Huo Sishen looked up from his documents. “I have heard of him before but never worked on a project with him. Mr. Zhang Sheng always had the reputation of being reliable in the industry.”
As a big player in the logistic industry, he had many trucks, truck drivers, all the way down to the delivery persons on the bottom of the business chain in addition to his ability to develop new routes.
Reliable character, alacrity. These were all characters that would make experienced workers willing to dedicate.
Zhang Sheng’s reputation in the industry was another reason why Huo Sishen did not stop Gu Shishi from meeting up with him.
That was certainly high praises coming from Huo Sishen.
Gu Shishi did a quick search on him online and, sure enough, he was a very well-known employer in the industry, arguably the top dog of his field.
Even so, he was willing to pick a meeting place with her convenience in mind.
He was not a stuck up as a boss or an elder.
“He seems nice.”
Gu Shishi wasn’t an ungrateful person.
As such, she had already given this Big Uncle 60 points prior to their meeting.
A score that was much better than the negative ones for the rest of the Gu family members.

They arrived at the agreed-upon coffeeshop.
Gu Shishi was just about to text her uncle when Huo Sishen started walking toward the second floor with her hand in his.
Probably all bosses think alike.
How could they be seen drinking coffee in the main lobby?
Nah ah.
Gu Shishi grinned, realizing that she had learned another one of the boss’s little quirks.
“What you laughing about?”
Huo Sishen raised his brows.
“Nothing.”
Gu Shishi’s mouth cracked open.
“You first.”
Huo Sishen narrowed his eyes. Squeezing her hand, he said, “Be serious. Watch your steps.”
“I’m not worried. If I slip, you will buffer my fall,” said Gu Shishi as she docilely followed behind him.
Huo Sishen’s lips twitched. There was helpless doting in his eyes.
As soon as they reached the second floor, they could see a bold and decisive middle-aged man in a leather jacket sitting under a patio umbrella.
His face was squared and aged but his look was still piercing.
He was smiling in a friendly manner.
He stood up immediately when he spotted the two of them.
“Shishi?
“I am Zhang Sheng, your big uncle, this is your big aunt.”
Chen Yunping was sitting next to him.
Chen Yunping smiled and stood up before Gu Shishi even got close to them. “She didn’t look that much like little sister. She is prettier.”
Gu Shishi was a little baffled.
Was she referring to Mother Gu?
Hmm, this big aunty was such a sweet talker.
Huo Sishen pulled out her seat for her and nodded at the two of them.
“Boss Zheng. Boss Chen.”
Chen Yunping was Zhang Sheng’s wife but she did not stay home with the children. In fact, she held to position of CFO at their company.
Huo Sishen’s intention was to address the other parties for Gu Shishi.
The line between them had been drawn.
It had instantly alleviated Gu Shishi of the struggle of whether to refer Zhang Sheng as Uncle.
After all, she had been having a lot of conflicts with the Gu family and really did not get along with Mother Gu.
Huo Sishen was not subtle before they figured out the purpose of today’s meeting.
Zhang Sheng, smiling bitterly, had to put aside the thought of being addressed to as uncle.
