Chapter 309 - Simply Stabbing (随便扎一下)
309- Simply Stabbing (随便扎一下)
Jing Yun Zhao was still holding onto Mother Jiang as she spoke to Chu Rong, “Bring me my bag.”
Chu Rong didn’t know what Jing Yun Zhao’s intentions were, but she was still very cooperative and went to the front desk. She thought that the bag was very light, but didn’t think too much about it.
Jing Yun Zhao took the bag and rummaged inside before taking out a small but exquisite box.
Once she opened it, everybody could see that the insides contained multiple needles varying in thickness arranged neatly inside.
The other customers didn’t know what was going on, but the invited guests knew that Jing Yun Zhao was a skillful doctor. Seeing that Jing Yun Zhao took out silver needles, it looked like Jing Yun Zhao wanted to provide acupuncture treatment for this lady?
A few people there couldn’t help but admire Jing Yun Zhao. She was already an amazing doctor, but to think that she even knew acupuncture! However, who knew if acupuncture could cure the lady’s poison?
“WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO!?” Jiang Xia immediately stopped Jing Yun Zhao the moment he saw the thin silver needles.
“Since Madam Jiang has been poisoned, please don’t bother Miss Jing while she’s treating her,” Chu Rong immediately blocked him.
She too only found out that her boss was a doctor today!
All the members of the staff were amazed that these big shots were all Jing Yun Zhao’s patients!
Jiang Xia didn’t have Chu Rong’s strength so he was held back, while Mother Jiang sucked in a breath of cold air the moment she saw those silver needles, “Where did this freak come from? To think that she would even bring silver needles everywhere she goes!? Does she think we’re in a movie? You see someone then you stab them willy-nilly!?
“Let me go!” Mother Jiang shouted.
Alas, Jing Yun Zhao was a martial artist after all, and with Mother Jiang being a woman who possesses little strength, how could they compare? Even after her pathetic attempts to struggle, she still didn’t move an inch.
Jing Yun Zhao smiled and, while holding the silver needles in one hand, she threatened, “Don’t struggle so much or I might accidentally poke the wrong spot? You could very well lose your life.”
Jing Yun Zhao only bought the silver needles recently. She had absorbed another four pieces of Spirit Jade in the past two months and the last Spirit Jade had some acupuncture techniques inside. However, they were only very simple and superficial techniques. Moreover, acupuncture relied heavily on first hand experience. Hence why she bought the needles and started practicing the technique rigorously in her space.
Hearing her veiled threat, Mother Jiang felt uncomfortable all over as she replied, “You damn girl! I dare you to stab me! If anything were to happen to me, you won’t be getting off scot free!” (Kyo: you dared her, so technically…)
“What are you saying? Aren’t I trying to help you because you started crying about your stomach pains?” Jing Yun Zhao raised the needle in her hand to check it under the light, creating some light reflections, and exposed whatever parts of Mother Jiang’s body that could be exposed.
Feeling the cold air on her skin, Mother Jiang knew that Jing Yun Zhao was serious.
The next second, Mother Jiang started to feel a tingling sensation approaching and her brain instantly went into full panic mode, “You don’t need to treat me! I’m starting to feel better already! It’s not painful anymore!”
Jing Yun Zhao paused and asked, “Are you sure?”
Mother Jiang nodded her head hurriedly.
“It was very painful before, but I’m fine now, it shouldn’t be a life-threatening poison…” The meaning of Mother Jiang’s words were obviously telling everybody that the tea was still poisonous, albeit a mild one.
Jing Yun Zhao let go of her, only to see her instantly stand up.
“What’s the problem with you? Previously, you prescribed medicine randomly to the patients at our tea pavilion, now you even want to stab me with a needle? Are you crazy!?” Mother Jiang, who had just been released immediately shouted.
Jing Yun Zhao put the silver needles back into the tiny box and sat down on Mother Jiang’s chair.
With a raise of her hand, she didn’t say anything as she drank the tea directly from the same pot the mother-son duo drank from, skipping the cup.
Her rough actions had a certain type of charm, and when she finished the tea, she wiped her mouth and slammed the teapot on the table, causing the hearts of some people to jump.
