Shrewd wife of Lin brothers

Little Shi , was what manager Wang named the server  boy  even  though there was  nothing little about  him anymore  , Manager Wang  who had no family and adopted Little Shi ( Xiaoshi) and Little  Coa( Xiaocao ) still liked to call them Little Shi and Little Cao . As per Little shi 's report , eat delicious  was once a famous restaurant  at the dock but then more and more  people started  selling food and opened up stalls and restaurants.  The food in 'eat delicious  ' wasn't  anything special nor did it had any secret ingredients  either  , so it was really easy for their competitors  to recreate  the taste of their signature  dishes , the competing restaurants  even  modified the dishes so that it tasted  better than theirs .

Manager Wang  brought up this matter many times in front of Su Bai , but Su Bai was only interested in counting the silver taels  and nothing  more .  A lazy ,  good for nothing  like him - will he ever work hard and try to think of new ways to sell the  restaurant's  dishes ? Of course not . In the end not only did Su Bai admonished  manager Wang  for being an useless old man , he also scolded the chefs  of the restaurant  for not doing their  job  properly. 

While scolding Su Bai went too far and ended up offending  the Shen family 's chefs completely  , the old chefs who were responsible  for their signature  authentic dishes quitted  at once . Manager Wang  tried  to stop them but Su Bai who was drunk  on the success of becoming a rich land lord  in his village  stopped  manager Wang  and insulted the old chefs saying that the old chefs were worth nothing  and his family's  restaurant  would be fine without them . After  that Su Bai kicked those  old chefs without  giving them a single  coin and hired  a cutting edge type of chefs whose cooking was so bad that even  Little shi  and his brother  couldn't  eat it much less their customers . 

After listening to Little shi 's report  Su Wan  clicked  her tongue in discontent . If she wasn't worried about being thrown  into jail , she would have beaten Su Bai so badly that even  his mum would refuse to acknowledge  him as her son .

That idiot  not only offended  those skilled old chefs he also made this restaurant  lose its integrity  . Even  if she introduced  a new signature  dish  now , what was the point  if there wasn't  even a single customer  to test that dish out. ? 

" Su Bai did that ?" asked Lin Yan just like Su Wan he really wasn't  fond of this  father  in law of his not to mention , their family 'brought ' Su Wan  instead  of just marrying her.  The day when they paid ten silver taels to the Su family  , Su Wan  was no longer related to the  Su family anymore .

Little shi  nodded , looking extremely pitiful as he unhappily  sighed " we don't  even have much money  to buy cooking ingredients  , those chefs  that master hired also  left when we couldn't  pay  them their salary . Now its only me , my brother  and  manager Wang  - we are already like this but  the Su family  still took away a major  of our earnings today " 

'The Su family  again !' Bristled Su Wan  angrily  ,The Su family  had  really refreshed  her three point of views - its not even noon yet the Su family  sent their servants  to snatch  the earnings from  the original owner's  shops..Were they worried  that she would come and claim it before them or they just couldn't  sit still because she took the ten silver taels from them yesterday  ? Su Wan  bit her bottom lip in frustration  , if she knew that the Su family  would be so fast she would have  been  faster than them ! 

" What master ? Don't  call that shameless family masters anymore  " slapping her thigh Su Wan  lightly chided Little shi  " I no longer have any relations with them and now that my relations  are severed with them , they have no right to interfere  in my mother's  dowry shops  . The next time they send their servants  to collect money  , you better  beat those servants  until their masters could feel the burn of getting slapped on their  thick faces !" 

" I understand  ! " Little shi  who was bullied  under the Su family  for so many years agreed at once , his dark eyes lit up  with hope for future  but then a second later that light  vanished and his  hopeful expression  dropped  . 

" wh..at's  w..rong  ?" asked Lin Yu when he saw  little shi  drooping and wilting  like a weak flower  in heavy rain .

" Our restaurant 's  is already facing  bankruptcy  , even  if the Su family  comes we won't  have to work so hard to protect our  earnings  because there won't  me any earnings  at all ! Aye , its already the second  day of the month and we had no customer  today  either  " 

" Just  this ?" snorted Su Wan  as she confidently  leaned back on her chair " who says there won't  be an earnings? if you follow me , I promise I will  make this restaurant  hustle and bustle like before " 

Little Shi was already  Su Wan's  little fan the moment she gallantly stepped in the fight  and saved manager Wang  from getting killed ( Su Wan  : I didn't  )  and now that he heard her say that she will make the restaurant  booming once  again , he couldn't  help but look at Su Wan  with a worshipping  gaze .

Su Wan who  received  the worshipful gaze couldn't  help but shiver , what - what ? Why was this little boy was looking at her like she was just skinny dipped in gold and came out looking like a golden midas statue ? 

" Cough " Lin Yan  who noticed  Little shi  looking at Su Wan  a bit frantically coughed  but even then Little shi  didn't  look away  instead he was still  staring at Su Wan  with a burning gaze .  Instantly  ; Lin Yan 's feathers puffed out like an angry chicken , if only he had a sharp beak , he  would have pecked this shameless  boy to death ! 

( Little shi  : I'm  innocent ! I'm  wronged ! I just think Miss Su is dashing and cool ) 

" ahem " Su Wan  noticed  her husbands  angry and flustered expressions and coughed then she cleared  her throat and started ordering people around , whatever  just  make them busy  enough that they  couldn't  think of anything else " Little shi go and set up the small stall in front of our restaurant, Ah Yan take out the fish meat and bread crumbs and start cooking , Jing ge - you are responsible  for wafting the smell of the cooked food with  a paper fan , as for Ah Yu and Ah Rui  you two are responsible for attracting customers  and collecting  money " 

The Lin brothers  who were ordered around  didn't  even blink before diving  right into action the only  person  who stupefied was Little shi , this - this .. what was this? The wife was sitting  calmly inside while munching on melon seeds while the husbands  follow their  wife's  orders like  trained dogs ? 

Seeing little shi standing  in shock , Su Wan  raised a brow " what ? you want me to work ? I didn't  marry five  husbands so that I will run around  flying on my foot , I married them because I wanted a comfortable  life " 

'Aren't  you a bit too comfortable ?' mused Little shi  blinking  his eyes  in confusion ; generally  when a woman became a shared  wife she  was no different  than a slave but his mistress was clearly different  ! Not only did she lazed around , she also ordered  her husbands around , sure  enough  his mistress was  no simple lady !
