By the time Qu Zhi arrived, Chuchu had already cried until her tears ran out. She knew she had made a mistake and shrunk her neck, not daring to look into Qu Zhi’s eyes.
The child’s parents didn’t look like they were to be trifled with, either. They glared at Chuchu as if she was the one who had led their child astray.
Teacher Lu looked at her watch. An hour after she finished her call, Qu Zhi appeared. She must have been in a hurry along the way, as beads of sweat were on her forehead.
Qu Zhi was dressed in a brown suit with a white shirt underneath. She looked gentle and Swift, and it was obvious that she was not a small figure.
However, Chuchu’s deskmate’s parents had also arrived. They had been waiting for an entire hour and had already lectured all that needed to be lectured. They were only waiting for Qu Zhi to show her face.
“Stop putting on airs.” The parent mumbled.
“I’m sorry, teacher, I really can’t leave.” Qu Zhi used all her strength to adjust her breathing.
She was going to find some new people to help the company, but the people that Lin He and Little Gu found were either too young or very picky with their work. They didn’t help, but they made mistakes after only one day. All kinds of accounts couldn’t be matched, and they even played ball with each other.
The other party was not to be trifled with either. They still forced her to make progress, so she had no choice but to come over only after she had almost tallied the accounts.
“Look, these three papers are exactly the same.” Mr. Lu pushed his glasses. “Liang Chu copied it for Sun Jing without missing a single word. Before this, I’d already made it clear that they couldn’t copy each other’s homework. This is irresponsible to our classmates.”
“That’s right, Chuchu’s grades are good, but what about us? At the bottom! You guys don’t want my Hanhan to learn well, do you?” Sun Han’s parents were aggressive, and he had been holding back his anger for a long time. Not only did he feel that his child was embarrassing, but he also felt that Qu Zhi was putting on airs.
“I’m sorry, Mom.” Chuchu felt she wasn’t a good child anymore, and her tears flowed out again. “I just think we’re good friends, and I want to help her.”
“I’m sorry, Auntie. I didn’t do my homework, and I asked Chuchu to let me copy it. She didn’t want to do it at first, so please don’t be angry.” Sun Han was generous.
However, Qu Zhi didn’t want to be angry. She felt she was in the wrong. “Chuchu, I’m very happy that you’ve realized your mistake. Promise me that you won’t do this again, okay?” In her heart, Qu Zhi felt she had not taught her well.
Chuchu was too obedient. She didn’t want Chuchu to suffer, but some things weren’t suitable to be said out loud. She decided to go back and have a good chat with Chuchu.
Chuchu nodded and threw herself into Qu Zhi’s arms.
Qu Zhi was also busy apologizing to Sun Jing’s parents. “I’m sorry. The child is still young and her ability to distinguish between right and wrong is weak. I didn’t teach her well. Please don’t take it to heart.”
“Hmph, you still want to teach children? You don’t even go home.” The man didn’t even lift his eyelids.
The air in the office suddenly dropped to the freezing point, and Chuchu sneaked a glance at her mother’s expression.
However, Qu Zhi was afraid of scaring the child, so she didn’t say anything. It would be useless even if she said anything to this kind of person.
She pulled Chuchu out and said without turning her head, “I’ve taught my child more than you.”
The other party wanted to get up but was stopped by teacher Lu.
Qu Zhi didn’t care. She shouldn’t have used this kind of method to intimidate her child. Some parents didn’t even understand their children.
Qu Zhi decided not to go to work today. She gave Lin He a call and asked her for help. Lin He was different now. She used to be the Young Miss and was now the head shopkeeper.
Qu Zhi found that Lin He was quite clever. Although she had never attended any training classes, Lin He learned very quickly, especially regarding money.
She also began to enjoy the satisfaction of making money. Days with her palms facing up were indeed dull.
Lin He agreed and hung up the phone. She was still in charge of the front desk’s calls and couldn’t miss a single one.
This way, Qu Zhi would have enough time to spend with Chuchu.
She tried to reason with Chuchu, “Sometimes, we can’t just give others what they want. We have to see if the situation is right. We have to follow the rules.”
“But Sun Jing is my good friend. We have to help our good friend. Mom said so. Chuchu interrupted her. In her little head, “friends” were the most important. This would make her suffer a lot in the future.
“No, you’re the only one who’s important.” Qu Zhi looked at her with determination. “If you do something that will hurt yourself, then don’t do it, understand? ”
Chuchu nodded her head thoughtfully as if she understood.
However, Qu Zhi was confident she would understand because she would be by Chuchu’s side in the future. She would repeat it over and over again, so Chuchu would definitely understand.
