Seeking the Flying Sword Path

The ancient existences all believed that they had a sliver of hope by relying on their various means, allowing them to luck out during the conflict. However, all of those hopes were dashed when they saw the Immortal Vanquishing Array! The Immortal Vanquishing Array was more threatening than the Fiend Ancestor.

The Fiend Ancestor was bent on taking the Lotus Seed of Fate from Qin Yun’s hand. “Ever since the Three Realms was born, only Zhurong possessed that Lotus Seed of Fate after all these years. I paid such a tremendous price before obtaining it. Yet, this Qin Yun was just traveling the Three Realms at random and he easily received one? This Lotus Seed of Fate should be mine. His Qingping Sword should also belong to me.”

The Fiend Ancestor’s destruction body had struck out with his palm previously, but the moment the Immortal Vanquishing Array appeared—

All he could do was retract his palm.

“None of you are leaving. Do you still have plans of continuing?” A black-haired elder appeared in the middle of the Immortal Vanquishing Array, beside Qin Yun. It was the Heavenly Lord of Numinous Treasure’s real body.

“Master.” Qin Yun bowed.

The Heavenly Lord of Numinous Treasure looked at Qin Yun and gave a terse response, but he looked extremely pleased. He said with a smile, “As I long said, having done so much, you have immense merit and the light from providence shines on you. As long as you wander around frequently, you might bump into a huge opportunity. See? Was I right?”

Qin Yun was taken aback.

That was really the case.

He had obtained the Lotus Seed of Fate very easily. All he did was listen to a quarrel between a master and disciple and learned of Cave Lord Venom Cloud’s enslavement of a large ground of cultivators. He had easily obtained the best Connate Wonder in existence and Qin Yun felt that everything was like a dream to have something so rare fall into his lap.

“Can all of you kill me? If the Tenebrous Fiend Abyss isn’t destroyed, I’ll remain eternal,” said the Fiend Ancestor with an angry laugh.

“Isn’t your eagerness to become stronger because you are afraid of the future? It will not be long before you and I have to leave the Three Realms. When the time comes, you will no longer be the lord of the Tenebrous Fiend Abyss,” said the Heavenly Lord of Numinous Treasure with a smile. “Without the Tenebrous Fiend Abyss as your crutch, our collective efforts against you will make taking you down easy.”

Qin Yun was alarmed when he heard that.

When the two vanished from the Disarray Star Sea, the disorientation zone no longer had the warped void. Everything returned to a calm.

You earned your huge merit after that happened, so your final finding of the Stellar Stone was because you were bent on resolving the root problem of your homeworld. You chose not to have a breakthrough in your Dharmic powers and chose to stay in a Small World. It was only right that you received the thousand-foot-long Stellar Stone.

“I always believed that you would obtain a huge opportunity by traveling the Three Realms.” The Heavenly Lord of Numinous Treasure smiled. “Yet, I never expected you to obtain this Lotus Seed of Fate.”

“Master, how should I use this Lotus Seed of Fate?” inquired Qin Yun.

Just the name alone sounded impressive.

But Qin Yun was quite flabbergasted. How was he to use it? How should he use it to provide him with the greatest help?

“There are many ways to use a Lotus Seed of Fate,” said the Heavenly Lord of Numinous Treasure with a smile. “There are a total of nine. The first was produced during the period of Chaos. It turned into Black Lotus, the present Fiend Ancestor.”

Qin Yun listened carefully. He had read something related to that before.

“There have been quite a few Lotus Seeds of Fate that have appeared,” said the Heavenly Lord of Numinous Treasure. “The ones that have turned into life are the Fiend Ancestor and that monkey from Flowers and Fruit Mountain. That is why the Fiend Ancestor always wishes to refine that monkey. He even sneaked up on him once some time ago. Thankfully, Gautama was prepared.”

Qin Yun nodded. However, he had long offended the Fiend Ancestor.
