Yun Bixue felt warmth emanating from Xie Limo’s exquisite palms. Looking at their intertwined hands, she felt as though they were going to grow old hand-in-hand. Her heart felt waves of warmth.

She followed Xie Limo’s pace and entered the house. Her footsteps turned much lighter than before. It was wonderful—he had returned. It was only home with him around.

The moment the two of them entered the house, they could distinctly feel the change in the atmosphere inside. It became much more cheerful.

When they arrived in the bedroom, the bed was already covered with various boxes.

Yun Bixue stood by the door and gazed at these boxes. Her eyes were bright, hopeful, and even hesitating.

Xie Limo looked at how wary his wife appeared. He then chuckled. “Go and take a look. See if you like them.”

Yun Bixue pursed her lips. Her eyes became crescent-shaped as she smiled sweetly. “As long you bought it, I’ll like it.” She was contented, so very contented. She was already very touched that he remembered to buy her gifts.

She had never been taken care of and cherished like this before. Because of this, she knew that she should count her blessings.

Xie Limo caressed Yun Bixue’s head, then lowered his head to kiss her forehead. “I personally picked and bought them for you. It’ll be great if you like them.” Xie Limo’s words were loaded with indulgence. It was only in front of his wife that he could feel completely at ease.

Only she could make him feel such a wonderful feeling and make him look forward to go home.

Yun Bixue released Xie Limo’s hands and dashed towards the bed. She began opening the boxes excitedly.

Xie Limo stuck a hand into his pocket and leaned his body elegantly against the door frame. He simply smiled and observed Yun Bixue. With a gentle and glittering gaze, he looked breathtaking.

Yun Bixue was opening a box when she suddenly thought of something. She paused and coughed. Turning back to look at Xie Limo, she asked in embarrassment, “You’re not allowed to laugh at me.” She looked so eager, wondering what he thought of her in his heart.

Xie Limo looked at his wife behaving like a little girl. His lips arched upwards, making him look even more exquisite. “Yes, I won’t laugh at you. These are all yours. Open them in whatever way you want to.”

Yun Bixue pouted. “You’re still laughing at me.”

Xie Limo shook his head and walked towards her. Sitting by the bed, he reached out to open one of the boxes. “There, I’ve opened it for you. I’m not laughing at you.”

Yun Bixue felt sweetness in her heart. As her eyes narrowed into slits, her whole body radiated a blissful splendor. She was an alluring sight.

Xie Limo watched her and his heart shuddered as well. His prolonged yearning for her almost made him lose control. He reached out and pulled Yun Bixue into his embrace. Placing his hand behind her head, he lowered his head and kissed her thoroughly. It was a kiss loaded with intensity and boldness. It was so dominating that she could only wallow in it.

Feeling as though she was floating in the clouds, Yun Bixue’s mind and body melted into a puddle. She could only cling to Xie Limo and feel his passion. She was also extremely in need— her body and mind had long been ready to take him in.

After a long kiss, Xie Limo finally let Yun Bixue go. He looked at her seductive expression, and couldn’t contain the waves in his heart.

Panting softly, Yun Bixue leaned in Xie Limo’s embrace to slowly catch her breath.

Xie Limo smiled inwardly. The saying ‘absence makes the heart grow fonder’ had finally made sense to him as he understood its full meaning. Tonight, he didn’t want to let her go. His wife was truly too perfect that he couldn’t stop himself.
