The moment Twilight Transmigration appeared, they displayed their great power to the players. They were the underdogs who shocked everybody. After clearing Guardian Eller, who served as an obstacle for many guilds, and taking up the top places in the rankings board, they became the topic of discussion for all.

The thing that gave them the most exposure was naturally the video of Guardian Eller being defeated that was released to the public. In that video, with Character Z’s lead, all the members of Twilight Transmigration took out white scrolls. The holy light that flowed out like a river from the scrolls shattered the Boss’ armor, and his Defense dropped straight to zero temporarily. Then, the members concentrated their fire on the Boss and depleted the Boss’ health until it entered the second stage.

With just a glance, Lin Jie knew that Twilight Transmigration had found a way to get their hands on his dungeon strategy. Their entire battle was uncanny to his! Normal people would not think of bursting their attacks all at once, but rather slowly deplete the Boss’ health.

The thing that gave them away were those scrolls. These Anrel Scrolls came from the Level 70 map “Temple of the Faceless” and had the ability to randomly decrease a target’s Defense by 1% to 10%, which could be stacked.

There were a total of two treasure chests spawned in the Temple of the Faceless. It would have required up to a month to gather 40 scrolls even if one started farming for them immediately when the dungeon was out. In other words, the Bandits of Twilight Transmigration had already been farming those treasure chests since a month ago. In The New Age, the only people who could enter a Level 70 map without dying were not more than 20 existing Bandit players, and Twilight Transmigration had a strong Bandit, Shadower Chaos In The Sky.

Such precious scrolls would not usually be used so easily. However, after Character Z attained his battle strategy through special methods, the only thing he could come up with was to “copy Lone Wolf”. He must have thought that the only way to get through the first stage was to remove the Boss’ Defense and defeat it with a burst of attacks. As such, they took out all of their scrolls and created a “Dragon Armor Removal” effect.

Their killing method in the video was exactly the same as Savage Blade.

Lin Jie felt a chill in his heart, knowing that Character Z was able to obtain the Boss’ battle information of Savage Blade. He had always been one to take revenge on every little thing, and now he was finding fault with Twilight Transmigration for stealing his battle strategy. If he did not retaliate, wouldn’t that make him seem weak and susceptible to bullying? He could not take this lying down.

Lin Jie had entered the game to be proud, brave, and powerful! In real life, there were too many restrictions and rules. Why should he hold back now when he was in the game?

In just a short 3 minutes, Feng Yun was revived and then killed over and over again. With the Holy Light Stone of Grace around, this place had become a cemetery. Souls would continue to revive endlessly here. Along with a Priest’s revival spell, it was a piece of cake for Lin Jie to bleach that person.

“Lone Wolf, when you lose everything, I’ll be there to step on you and kill you!” Feng Yun gritted his teeth and spat out with anger. His was a Paladin, but he specialized in buffs. His overall combat abilities were slightly lower than a Summoner. There was no way for him to retaliate when Lin Jie could kill him in one move. The only thing he could do was to curse Lin Jie to lose the competition and become the winner’s dog. When that time came, he would properly beat him up!

“Step on me?” Lin Jie smirked. His eyes turned cold and sinister. Underneath his Lone Wolf Helmet, a pair of blood-red eyes shot out a menacing look. The reason he was killing and humiliating Feng Yun over and over again was to push him to summon Zerg Queen Artherga.

Although Feng Yun’s individual combat ability was bad, his powers were terrifying with Zerg Queen Artherga, which would regenerate endlessly and attack seamlessly. Even Lin Jie had to be careful that the swarm of insects would not surround and devour him.

The best method… was to destroy Artherga!

Without the Zerg Queen, Feng Yun would just become a regular supporting role. He would become as good as nothing.

Originally, he had come here to mess with the Savage Blade members and let them taste the shame of being defeated. However, he ended up being humiliated in front of everybody. How could the high and mighty Feng Yun tolerate this?

“Artherga! The Heart of Zerg! King’s Blessing!” Feng Yun roared out. He waved his fingers, and an insect egg the size of a quail egg appeared out of nowhere. It burst opened with a crack, and a delicate, beautiful butterfly, which resembled a crystal, came out. This was Zerg Queen Artherga!

In the battle of Atlas Peak, the Zerg Queen had been killed by Lin Jie’s blade. After Feng Yun had revived Artherga, he had found a new status [Weakened Zerg Queen]: The shadow of death hangs over Zerg Queen. If killed again, she will die and cannot be revived.

Feng Yun understood that the Zerg Queen was his greatest asset, which was why he kept it protected. Ever since he had been killed by Lin Jie, he had spent a great amount of effort to revive. His Zerg Queen was sent into a weakened state with no way of recovering.

The butterfly flapped its wings and tiny pieces of crystal insect eggs headed towards Lin Jie’s face. In the blink of an eye, they increased in size by a few folds and turned into insects that were as big as oxen!

The giant terrifying insects that appeared suddenly were a scary sight. Even Mixed Breathless took a stepped back in fear and turned pale. The color drained from Bu Yi’s face when she witnessed the insects increasing in size, and she nearly vomited.

‘It’s finally out.’ Lin Jie did not falter. These insects had bad stats and could only become powerful with Feng Yun’s buffs. As for that disgusting appearance… he had even gone through a zombie’s stomach in the second dungeon, why would he be scared of insects?

Zerg Queen Artherga had 0 stats in all attributes and 100 health points. Its ability was to produce eggs endlessly, and the amount would increase as its level went up. His team buff skills had lost its most important core.

Lin Jie released his grasp, and the mucus in his hands fell to the ground, landing beside Feng Yun, whose face was pale and grey. The mucus and corpse of the Zerg Queen landed onto Feng Yun’s body. Just then, a breeze of wind caused a leaf to float by. The entire scene was very bleak.

“Feng Yun!” Character Z cried out. He appeared right beside Feng Yun in a flash. He touched him and came right into contact with the goo that was left behind by the late Zerg Queen. The green mucus dyed his hand and gave out a pungent, foul smell. He glared daggers at Lin Jie and exclaimed, “Lone Wolf, you’re ruthless!”

Lin Jie smiled and said, “Touché. We all know that if you have the chance, you will not show me mercy either. Let’s not play along with this tragic act of yours.”

“Haha, hahaha…” Character Z laughed uncontrollably. He raised his eyebrows and said, “Okay, Lone Wolf. You destroyed one of my people today, tomorrow I’ll wreck your team to pieces! Did you really think you are invincible? You’re a fool. The world is filled with adventurers, you’re not the only one out there. Feng Yun was only among the top 20 in Twilight Transmigration. I still have many powerful people to deal with you.”

“Feel free to come anytime.” Lin Jie said indifferently, without a care for his words, “Why don’t we raise our bet? If you lose, you’ll give me 50,000 gold coins. What do you think?”

“There’s no need for that. He’s just a pathetic dog now.” Mixed Breathless observed Feng Yun and could see his past self in him. Suddenly, he thought of a bold idea. “Boss, do you think this person still has any value left? His team buff skills can boost us. That’s not bad, right?”
