Chang Shunchun laughed lightly, revealing her naturally resilient and cheerful personality. "Otherwise, I am sure I would have severe and permanent trauma after being forced to stay with that horrific old man for three entire years."
"Yeah. That’s completely true. Losing those terrible and dark memories is indeed not a bad thing for your peace of mind." Yu Qi agreed softly, nodding along with Chang Shunchun’s optimistic outlook.

Aoi, Shino, and Bo Ya immediately responded the moment they heard her voice, their excited footsteps pattering loudly as they ran toward the abundant spiritual garden.
Yu Qi then opened the refrigerator and took out several premium pieces of meat, placing them aside on the counter to thaw properly for a while. "Watching you cook is already a form of resting for me." Long Hui replied smoothly, staring down at her while deploying his famous puppy eyes.
Long Hui truly knew how to use his strongest, most devastating weapon against his fiancée. He knew perfectly well that no matter how firm Yu Qi tried to be, she had always been especially weak whenever he looked at her with those pitiful, affectionate puppy eyes.
