"She already told you that you have received your payment. You should be grateful for what you have and not be so greedy. Otherwise... you might find it difficult to even keep your lives." Grandpa Mu said nonchalantly, as if he were merely commenting on the afternoon weather.

Yu Qi pushed open the heavy door and stepped into the warm atmosphere of the restaurant.

Yu Qi looked at the middle-aged woman who had greeted them. The woman was stunned for a moment, her eyes widening as she processed who was standing there.
"Oh... Are you Yu Qi?" The middle-aged woman placed a hand over her mouth in shock.
"Boss..." Yu Qi greeted her with a soft smile.
It was her old boss, Madam Sheng Tan Hua. She was the one who had kindly taken Yu Qi in after Yu Qi decided to run away from the Wang House following her rebirth.
"It really is you, Yu Qi! Long time no see," Sheng Tan Hua said with her voice thick with emotion.
Yu Qi moved forward to hug Sheng Tan Hua, and the older woman squeezed her back tightly.
"How are you doing, Boss?" Yu Qi asked.
"No need to call me ’boss’ anymore. You are a big boss yourself now! I have heard so much about your many achievements." Sheng Tan Hua laughed, her eyes bright with pride.

Sheng Tan Hua naturally assumed Yu Qi had come with Grandpa Tang. She knew him well, as Grandpa Tang was a respected figure who used to live in this town years ago.

"Well... only my grandfather so far. I still have not found my parents. They went missing a long time ago, though my grandfather has been searching for them tirelessly." Yu Qi stated.
"Oh... That’s alright. At least you finally know your roots." Sheng Tan Hua said, patting Yu Qi’s shoulder comfortingly.
"Well... Boss, we have come to have dinner at your wonderful restaurant. Please, give us your special menu." Yu Qi said, skillfully changing the topic.
"Alright! Go and sit down. I am going to head into the kitchen and cook for you myself." Sheng Tan Hua declared.
As Sheng Tan Hua disappeared into the kitchen, Yu Qi and Grandpa Mu took a seat at a quiet table. The restaurant was not empty. A few other customers were scattered about, enjoying their meals.

"I am truly glad that you were surrounded by good people even then." Grandpa Mu said with a gentle smile.
Yu Qi smiled back. Her luck had indeed changed drastically after her rebirth. Now, she could see into people’s hearts with perfect clarity.
"Here comes my special menu!" Sheng Tan Hua announced, reappearing from the kitchen carrying two steaming plates of fragrant fried rice.
Another waiter followed close behind, placing two cups of fresh tea on the table.
