"You dare laugh at me?" The thugs shouted angrily at his friends. Then, he shouted again, looking around. "Who is the bastard who threw this thing at me?"
"I am." A woman’s voice shouted back.
The thug immediately stumbled slightly when he heard the voice.
"Mom?" The thug asked in a weak and uncertain voice.
"That’s right. I am your mother. Not a bastard." The woman spoke sharply.
"Mom, I am sorry. I don’t know it’s you." The thug immediately apologised.
"Why are you blocking Doctor Tang’s path?" The woman asked sternly.
"Huh? Doctor Tang? When did I...." The thug looked confused.
"When did you? You are doing it right now." The woman scolded her son.
The thug finally realised who his mother was referring to.
"Doctor Tang, Mr Long, I am sorry for my son’s behaviour." The woman apologised to Yu Qi and Long Hui sincerely. Then, she turned to her son and kicked her son at his leg. "Apologise to Doctor Tang, right away."
Facing his fierce mother, the thug did not dare to disobey his mother. He immediately lowered his head and apologised to Yu Qi and Long Hui.
"I am sorry." The thug said while bowing his head.
"You too! Apologise now!" The woman ordered her son’s friends.
The son’s friends also hurriedly apologised and asked for Yu Qi and Long Hui’s forgiveness.
"It’s fine. We are going to leave now." Yu Qi stated.
"Yes." The woman nodded respectfully.
When Yu Qi and Long Hui were already far away from them, the son turned to his mother and asked curiously.
"Mom, who are they?" The son asked.
"They came to our village last week. We are having a medical check-up. That woman is one of the doctors. I heard she came from a very powerful background. If you dare to offend her, you will definitely be in trouble." The mother said.
