The next day, Yu Qi and Long Hui went to the market, where they found the gambling stone store which belonged to the Jackson Family. Yu Qi had already set up the appointment with Robert Jackson.
When they arrived at the store, Robert Jackson already expected them.
"Mr Robert, we meet again." Yu Qi said smiling.
"Yeah." Robert Jackson nodded.
After Yu Qi's last meeting with the Jackson Family, the Jackson Family had some discussion with other family members about Yu Qi's proposal. Robert Jackson had someone investigate Yu Qi. They found out that Yu Qi owned several jade stores in Binhai Nation. So, they were legit businesses. In the end, all of the family members voted that they should accept Yu Qi's proposal. They would secure an additional income for themselves in 20 years.
So, Robert Jackson contacted Yu Qi, telling her that they had agreed to collaborate with her. Yu Qi informed Su Yu Hi to prepare the agreement regarding the collaboration with the Jackson Family. Then, Robert Jackson flew to Binhai Nation to sign the agreement. He did not see Yu Qi when the agreement was signed.
He asked Su Yu Hi about that. Su Yu Hi smiled and told him that the company was not the main focus or job for Yu Qi because her main profession was a doctor. Robert Jackson was shocked when he heard that. A doctor? How could a doctor get involved in a business that is not related to her field? Usually, a doctor would get involved in a business related to his career, like selling medicine. But Yu Qi was involved in the jewellery jade-related business. It was far from her career.
Not to mention, she was a chairwoman. Why did she need to handle the raw material purchasing herself? She did not bring anyone except for the man who accompanied her last time.
"So, are we going to the mine now?" Yu Qi asked.
"Yeah. Let's go. We will be going in my vehicle. The car that you are using right now is not suitable for going to the mine. It will get damaged and dirty. I can see that it is a rental car. If you return the car damaged and dirty, the rental car company might charge more than your fee." Robert Jackson stated.
"I see. Then, let's go with your vehicle." Long Hui replied.
The three of them got into Robert Jackson's car and Robert Jackson drove to the mine. After one and a half hours of driving, they arrived at the mine. They were greeted by the mine's supervisor.
"Mr Robert, nice to meet see." The supervisor said.
"Hmm... Where is your boss?" Robert Jackson asked.
"Mr Colin is in his office. You can go there." The supervisor said.
Robert Jackson brought Yu Qi and Long Hui to the office. It was not a building but multiple stacks of cabins. Robert Jackson knocked on the door of one of the cabins. Someone came to the door.
"Robert. You have come. Come in... Come..." A man, probably of a similar age to Robert Jackson, invited them to come in.
"Adam, this is the buyer that I told you about before, Tang Yu Qi and Long Hui." Robert Jackson introduced Yu Qi and Long Hui to the man.
"Hello, Mr Adam Colin." Adam Colin nodded.
They shook their hands.
Adam Colin invited them to sit down to discuss the matter.
"So, you want to buy the raw stone in bulk once every six months?" Adam Colin asked.
"Yes. I will go and make the selection by myself." Yu Qi said.
"The purchase will be through the Jackson Family?" Adam Colin asked again.
"Yes." Yu Qi nodded.
"Sure." Adam Colin agreed.
Actually, both families had been discussing the matter together. This meeting was just for an introduction to all the parties involved.
"Okay... I would like to see the raw materials. Can you show them to me?" Yu Qi asked.
Adam Colin brought them to where the raw materials had been stored. Once Yu Qi entered the warehouse, her eyes lifted up.
"Can you bring one of the trucks that you have outside?" Yu Qi asked.
"You want to choose the stone now?" Adam Colin asked.
"Yes." Yu Qi nodded.
"I will help you choose the stone." Long Hui said.
"Hmm... Thank you." Yu Qi smiled.
As a cultivator, Long Hui could also detect what was inside the stones. So, she would have more stones to choose from.
Adam Colin asked his employees to bring the truck in. When the truck was in, Adam Colin already saw Yu Qi with several trolleys with the raw stones inside them. He saw that one by one, trolleys had been added. Until all of the trolleys had been used up.
"You want all of these?" Adam Colin asked.
"Yes. Can you transfer all of the raw stones into the truck? I will need to use the trolley." Yu Qi stated.
Adam Colin nodded. He did not expect that they would buy this much. Yu Qi only stopped when the truck was full.
"It is enough for the time being." Yu Qi said.
